When this location first opened up until about 2 months ago, the service was great! There has been a change in the last couple months. The portions are half of what they previous were, the employees behind the counter seem unhappy or cold. I have seen a manager eating a donut behind the counter all while there were 10 people in line With one employee working. Not sure what happened but very disappointed. read more

Was out and about and thought we'd give this place a second chance. My wife wanted to go inside so she could see her order prepared which was fine the restaurant was pretty empty but was clean. I ordered the smoked brisket bowl and my wife chose a chicken bowl. Pretty good portion size thankfully because it was 12 bucks but thats pretty much what you're looking at paying for a burger and fries. We got our bowls to go so when I got home and dug into it I was impressed with the brisket it was moist and a little fatty, not a problem for me, with a sweet smokey sauce that had a bit of heat on the finish. My wife wasn't too impressed her chicken bowl I think the chicken was too dry. Overall I'd come back but it might be a while we don't usually shop on the north side of Lake Stevens. read more

Solid Chipotle for sure. About as good of a chipotle as any other location. Tasty barbacoa tacos and bowl. Service was fast through the "Chipotlane". Serving size was what I would expect for the price. Fresh ingredients. Will try to order inside again so I can experience that portion of service but overall very solid. Will definitely be back. The whole experience was horrible. I foolishly thought I could go to the drive-through and order my meal and pay for it and get it but apparently the drive-through is only for people who order on the app and are picking up. If you want to order you need to actually go in the restaurant. I parked and went into the restaurant ordered a burrito with only the barbecue brisket and cheese. I did not want a bunch of rice and filler I wanted meat. The burrito cost $13.23 and it was awful. The tortilla was like rubber. I could hardly bite through it. The brisket was awful. It was hard and very tough and I think there was a lot of gristle in it, I had to spit out a number of pieces that were just not edible. I will never go there again. There is absolutely no ambiance. I felt like I ordered from a vending machine. I don't think anybody cares or I would call and complain. I've had two good experiences here. Friendly staff and ample servings. It's not gourmet, but for fast food it's great! LOVE the guac! I got a steak bowl for take out. It was plenty for my husband and me. We love to eat it almost as a dip for good tortilla chips. read more

Wow. What a mess. The parking lot is horrible to navigate. But if you can park, the door facing the parking lot is always locked for your inconvenience. I asked an employee why and they said it wasn't supposed to be an entrance. I told him there was a handle on the door on the outside with a sign that said entrance. He just shrugged. I saw a sign for chicken pastor and asked to have some, they said they were out of it and just didn't take the sign down. I chalked that whole experience up as being a new store. Now on my second visit and I'm sitting in the parking lot putting in an order on my phone because they don't have enough staff to take orders and make orders. *UPDATE: got home and opened my order. Just like some previous reviews mentioned, this location seems to skimp on ingredients compared to other locations. I ordered a steak burrito and it barely had any steak in it. Definitely recommend checking your order before you drive off if you do an online order for pickup. I realized they forgot my side of guac when I got home. Had to go back for it which was annoying because my food got cold by the time I got back home the second time. The employee who helped me didn't seem phased or cared much. I preordered food on my lunch the other day and went to get it today at 11:20 am. The doors were still locked even though they open at 10:45am. They said they got a 'late start.' I was so excited for a closer Chipotle, but this particular location sucks. Both the app and the doors have the hours set as 10:45AM-10PM. Showed up at noon and all the doors were locked but the employees were inside and one was on his break eating right next to the main door. There were other customers walking around the building trying to find another entrance, or peeking in the windows trying to get someone's attention but we were all ignored. I saw three separate cars go through the drive through window and none of the employees acknowledged them. It was all so strange. I'll never return here read more

I'm a big fan of Chipotle and was excited to learn a new location was opening very close to us. After six visits over the last few months, I have to say this location is TERRIBLE. I wanted to give them a fair chance to get the operation ramped up before reviewing but my visit yesterday finally was the straw that broke the camels back. I have primarily ordered for pickup out of convenience and the portions of protein are easily half or in some instances a quarter of a typical Chipotle serving. Yesterday I ordered a burrito bowl with steak and chicken, there were 5-6 pieces of steak and zero chicken. The fajita veggies were under cooked, way too much romaine and hardly any rice or beans. If Chipotle corporate wants this location to succeed, they should close it, hire new management, and try to reopen. This location is doing so badly I wouldn't be surprised if it damages their brand reputation in the area permanently unless things are remedied soon. read more

Visited 5/5/23 at 4pm. Happy Cinco De Mayo? Not exactly... No parking anywhere in the lot. There were 19 cars in the drive-thru stretching out towards the new Starbuck's. Uh oh... bad sign. We ordered online at 3pm for a 4:10pm quick grab and go pickup inside. We walk in, the vibe is dark. Anger thick in the air. Mean faces everywhere. There were 24 people standing around, who also ordered online and had nothing to pickup. The mobile order p/u rack had nothing in it. Most had been there waiting from an hour plus to half an hour minimum. They were so disorganized and backed up, they were making orders from 1 and 2pm for pick up at 3pm! Abandonded orders. Most people had bailed and their orders sat on the rack. It got ugly. People started shouting the name on their order trying to get employees attention. That kind of worked as the gals would find your ticket amongst a stack of 50 tix at least, and make the order on the spot. But it got nasty between the customers. The employees were making long dead orders that no one would ever pick up. Finally a gal employee w huge fake eyelashes yelled, "Who's been here the longest?" Everyone raised their hand. This was a cluster F of all cluster F's. Never seen anything like it. It was as if no one had been trained at all about anything. Customer service? ZERO. Yep, nada. You had to raise your voice to get any eye contact. Just stupid. No M.O.D. anywhere in the store? Nope. I got my order at 5:22pm. 72 mins late!! And of course it was missing the guac side order, the blanco queso side order, and the kids chx quesadilla was a nuked rubber tortilla w a blob of white cholesterol and NO chicken in it. Ugh. DO NOT use the app and pay in advance. NOPE! Don't do it. Complete ripoff. Go in and have em make it in front of you. The app orders are the last priority. Not ever goin back to Lake Stevens Chipotle until they get a real trainer from corporate out there to witness the carnage and tighten things up. Geez, that sucked. 0 stars if I could. 1st visit to this location, not impressed! 8:45p, the staff wasn't overly welcoming, but the restaurant appeared relatively clean. A nice young gentleman who was taking our order wiped the prep station before starting our order; which was a good start, but... I ordered a chicken burrito with white rice and black beans. They were almost out of black beans, scraping the bottom of the pot. He put 1/2 of one spoonful on my burrito. I asked for more but he insisted to move on and making my burrito and would come back to it at the end. I asked for queso on my burrito, and just as he was going to put it on, he stopped and said "this is an extra cost is that OK?". I reluctantly said "OK". Once he put it on, I said "how much extra?". He said, "$2!". Excuse me, WHAT?! $2 for Queso on my burrito?! It was actually $1.60, but still... Note - QDOBA DOES NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR QUESO ON YOUR BURRITO! Moving on, as others have said in previous comments, he proceeded to fill my burrito with large portions of sour cream and pico; which seemed out of proportion to the rice and meat... making my burrito a very cold soggy mess. I also added Guacamole. BEWARE - THIS ALSO COSTS EXTRA $$! AND AGAIN, QDOBA DOES NOT CHARGE EXTRA FOR GUACAMOLE ON YOUR MEAL. I was so caught off guard by the $2 Queso and heaping wet slop on the tortilla, we never circled back for more beans. Next we ordered a kids meal, chicken quesadilla. This is an unbelievably small portion. (NOTE THAT THIS QUESADILLA IS HALF THE SIZE OF THE QDOBA KIDS CHICKEN QUESADILLA). One tiny tortilla with a tiny amount of chicken and cheese folded in half. Their soda machine was also not working, and there was no ice. Just as well because it would have made this already over priced meal cost even more had we ordered drinks. Ice probably costs extra! Haha I am not sure if it is just this location, but not at all impressed with the nickel and diming, extra charging on an already pricey "fast food". Management- I would suggest you slightly overall raise the prices and do away with the extra cost for every little thing. We will just stick with QDOBA from here on out. They have a more robust menu anyway, and better chips. read more
