I've always been a fan of Chipotle so I was happy to try this one out in Crescent Springs. I got my normal order of a burrito filled with steak, brown rice, wild salsa, cheese, and light sour cream. It was good as always as their steak has good seasoning and goes well with all of the other toppings that I got with it. We always love their chips and queso as well. The queso is average but their chips are really excellent and really elevate the queso. The service was good and the store was clean and made for a delicious and fairly inexpensive lunch. read more

Hey, Chipotle. It's been awhile. On a whim, we decided to meet again the other evening. I thought being apart would make our reunion more joyful, but sadly, it wasn't. I did enjoy the delicious smells that greeted my nose when I walked in the building, and the heaping amount of food that you always give me. Your employees are joyful and the building is clean. Your bathrooms were especially warm and toasty, which was a delight with the cold, beautiful snow falling outside. These are all good things. But... my food didn't thrill me like it did in the past. The chicken had less flavor and not as warm. The entire meal, although filling, just didn't satisfy my usual Chipotle craving. I don't know what happened. Maybe my tastes have changed. The profile picture on my Yelp profile is of the very first time I had a Chipotle burrito. It was actually in Las Vegas. At the time, Chipotle did not exist in our area. Thankfully, that has been rectified. I love Chipotle. There's just no getting around it. I love the quality of their ingredients. I have no fear of E. coli. In some ways the E. coli scare has been great for me, as it is scared off other customers and made their lines shorter. So that's been a bit of a silver lining for me. In a perfect world, their hot salsa would be a little less hot. The flavor is amazing, but the heat is a little rough on me. Also, the chip portions are a joke. But just so you know I can be somewhat objective here, I will admit on the record that Chipotle's queso is absolutely disgusting. That stuff should be banned by the government. read more

My party was greeted with pleasing service and a fairly clean dining area. My main concern is the change in food overall. My friend's chicken for her bowl was over spiced and a lot burnt. We also had two make your own burritos for children, and a side of guacamole and chips. Guacamole is still delicious, but the black beans are spicy now, and the chips are so salty that they were hard to eat. There is a big variation in the taste and preparation between local franchises in the area, and this one needs to take there hand off the salt shaker and spice shelf. I was asked to pick up a specific bowl they list on thier menu on line. I got several meals but when the specific one was wrong. I called the kid who said he was the GM could have said bring it back and we will remake. Instead he said it was up to me to know exactly what this item included and that his people can't be expected to know how to make every item on thier menu. Best. Chee po tle location. I find there to be great inconsistency of how full my burrito bowl is, and here it is generous, so much so, that the guac sticks to the cover. Always get the Burrito bowl, half lettuce half brown rice. Black beans, corn and tomato salsa, fajita veggies, barbacoa, cheese, and guac on the bowl, chips on the side. It may be a chain, but there are only two in Northern Kentucky. I have been to this location 5-6 times and it's always packed. Strange traffic pattern getting into it; you pass by it then turn in between a gas station and a fast food restaurant to get there. Anyway, it's good food. Generous portions and seems consistent in quality. I never quite understood why you tell the restaurant employees what you want by name because they still ask you...black beans or pintos, chicken, beef? I don't usually go to this location because it is not closest to my house. However I stopped by for lunch after work in the morning and their service was outstanding compared to any other location I've been to. This place is just your typical Chipotle - the people are nice enough, the food looked fresh. The place isn't as clean as it could be... might be nice if there were people out there cleaning up the tables on occasion. The other irritating thing is that when we paid, the computer crashed. So they came back and told us that they didn't charge us. Well, then get home, and the credit card statement says that we were charged twice. Chipotle is great, but this particular one is not. They never roll my burrito properly-- expect to be asked whether or not you want them to rewrap it when it busts open mid-wrap. I complained to them about it after a few failures and got a couple of free burritos out or it. Despite the insurmountable task of wrapping the burrito, the food is great and just what I've come to expect from Chipotle. The worst Chipotle I've ever been to, bar none. First, the menu - the font on the menu is 50% larger than normal, with no other information - none of the calorie and other listings normally found, just single names. The food behind the counter looked a bit off, but I was hungry and in a hurry. I got my normal Barbacoa burrito, and watched them have issues rolling it up and needing an extra piece of foil to hold it in place. While standing to check in at the airport 10 minutes later, the grease from the burrito ran through the foil, a napkin, and the paper bag onto the counter. Yes, the grease .. . . from a burrito. The taste was a bit off too, I tossed it halfway through even though there was no other food in the terminal - just bleh. read more

While I love chipotle this one is not an option. I recently moved to the area and was excited to find this location, at first. Yes the inside is clean and the employees are friendly but my goodness, the food is way below par. Eating the food after you order and they make it right in front of you just doesn't make sense, it doesn't taste fresh at all. I've tried this location 3 different occasions and at differing times to see if it mattered...it didn't. Each time I've had it I've never made it through the whole meal, it just tastes old and is never hot. I will continue to eat chipotle just not at this location. read more

Chipotle is awesome of course! This location is above average. They are consistent with portion sizes, which are average. I'm more than willing to pay for an extra scoop of chicken, as long as they don't try to jip me to begin with. I get my bowl with a tortilla on the side, brown rice, chicken, mild tomato, medium corn, and hot red salsa, sour cream and cheese, and guacamole on the side to eat with the tortilla. Very loud and usually crowded but don't let the long line scare you away. It moves very quickly. I've always had the burrito bowl so I can't comment on anything else. I usually get the chicken with guac, sour cream, salsa, cheese, beans and rice. The almost $2 extra for the guac seems high but you do get a fairly good sized scoop. read more

Can't believe I haven't checked in here yet! This is the closest Chipotle to my home. I eat here a few times a month. Let's get it straight I'm not worried about GMO foods but I like the food here. You can tell it's the real stuff. Yes I know it's not authentic Mexican, I don't care. My home fried rice probably isn't authentic Asian but I like it. But in light of recent news about the chain I was happy to see my regular Chipotle crew working with some guys checking food temps and cleaning procedures. Now I eat here a lot so everything is not always perfect (today no lemonade in the fountain to make my favorite lemonade/root beer cocktail) but the quality is consistent enough that I come back. This is reality after all... I'm not perfect all the time how can I expect them to be? But even when they are short of perfect they are still pretty awesome! read more

This location is one I frequent, and I have to say even though it is usually very busy, the food is always good! The only complaints I have are that compared to other local Chipotle, this location tends to be a little dirtier than others. It may be due to the fact that it is a pretty busy location, a larger location, or a combination of the two, but I've noticed that it does take a little longer for tables to be cleaner. The other (minor) qualm I have with this location is that the chips tend to be underdone! They don't have that crunch. They are very soft and flimsy. This doesn't take away too much from. The overall experience but it can definitely put a damper of my lunch. Beyond these minor things, a great location with very nice staff! read more

At the urging of my family, I stood in line at this location and placed an order for a Chipolte Steak Fajita. That was two days ago and I am finally able to function and post this warning. I got violently ill from the Steak Fajita at the Crescent Springs. KY location right off Interstate 75. I will never eat there again. First the diaria started and then I began throwing up. I don't think I can even drive near the place it was such a bad experience. I was sick for two days and could barely move. My wife called to report the bad food but they have not done anything about how sick I became and had to miss work. I am not exagerating when I tell you I could not even keep down a glass of water.
