this is probably the worst chipotle I've been to. Low staff and very unfriendly. They're always focusing on something else rather than your order. Very skimpy on the rice. The food is very dry even with sour cream and salsa and does not look or taste fresh. If I could give less than a star I would.. I waited over a hour and a half for my order that I placed almost 2 hours before pick up time. Not only did I wait... I watched the person making our food touch everything and more plus check the cash register with the SAME gloves she is making my food with! The place was a mess. Take out order was not ready on time and said they never got it,after showing our confirmation and name agin did the find it rushed to put order together that was sloppy done as I was forced to wait 15 minutes for completion I saw how filthy the store was. I was rather disappointed by this new Chipotle. It was uncomfortably loud due to the music and I had trouble hearing the staff ask me questions about my meal. This resulted in some items being omitted I'm assuming due to the staff having trouble hearing me as well. The guac and sour cream were slopped on the top of the entire bowl so much so that the rest of my meal was cold as well. Disappointing. Chicken was also a bit too charred. read more

I was initially excited when I heard there would be a Chipotle opening up in Clark since I've loved the food for years. Since this particular location has opened though, I've been mildly disappointed almost every time. The rice has been greasy, and the chicken has been overcooked/burnt. I wish I could give it 0 stars or less. To put it frankly the place is disgusting. Stopped there for a quick bite to eat I wish I went to Panera or Smashburgers both of which were near by. I should have known better when I walked in and saw that the dining area looked as if a bomb hit it. All the tables were filthy, there was garbage on the floor, the trash containers by the entrance were over flowing. I ordered taco carnitas, the kid literally just slopped the meat on, each one was inconsistent ranging from too little to too much. After finding the cleanest spot, I realized I forgot napkins, all the dispensers were empty, a few of the tables had stacks of napkins on them so I grabbed mine. The taco was disgusting, super greasy with a real odd flavor. I should have known better but I ate just 1 of the 3. Between the taco I ate & the others that were swimming in grease & the overall foul taste, along with the filth riddened dining area I high tailed it out of there. I felt sick the rest of the afternoon with an upset stomach. I will never ever be back no matter how hungry I am, I will skip any chipolte. read more

After a lot of thought I gave Clark chipotle another try. Wrong decision! I went there 7/24/19 to find out that they were closed and no explanation why. I tried again 7/25/19 . On the door it says they are open at 10:45 so I go to the door and it's open yet as I walk up front to the counter I'm told I have to leave you a worker and he instructs another worker to lock the door. I told him the door said open @ 10:45 and he said nothing is ready. People are sweeping and running around trying to get the place open. Where is the management in this place!!! I usually don't order in the store and use the app. When I use the app to pick it up I'm ignored for at least five minutes which is really frustrating because what's the point of ordering online when I could of just waited in line anyway. Then today I ordered in person and every staff member looked miserable and were so rude. The cashier was very rude and looked annoyed and basically rolled her eyes when i asked for chips and guacamole after she gave me my total. I work with people on a daily basis how hard is to look happy and be nice to your customers. If you don't like your job then go else where. read more

One of my favorite spots on this country, also cheap and cozy, the food is fresh and tastes like homemade!

I've never had anything less than a delicious meal here. The staff is pleasant and super prompt. Unless I come during the height of lunch or dinner, I never have to wait. The portions are more than enough. I usually take a portion of my bowl home because there is a copious amount of food given to me every time. This is a plus for me, since Chipotle is great when re-heated at home, too. read more

Worst chipotle ever. Dry steak there's no beans and staff is extremely slow. The line is up the wazoo. Very short on portions and the girl at the end is always messing up orders. Went yesterday at 6 o'clock which of course is a busy time. Waited about a half hour to get to the front of a line that wrapped around the store to find the workers TAKING THEIR SWEET TIME. as if they didn't care or didn't see that there was an absurd amount of people waiting. I come to this Chipotle at least once a week (Now with the rewards program, probably 3x a week) Line always moves very quickly. Portions are kind of small, Im always asking for a 2nd scoop of everything. Usually, I have good experiences with this chipotle location. However, today I had a BAD experience with this chipotle. I was distraught, flabbergasted even. I took a veggie burrito to go, and when I opened it, the entire burrito unraveled. It ruined my entire mood to eat chipotle which I had been looking forward to all day. used to work at this location recently. understaffed. cooks and everyone in the back, rude. i got grabbed aggressively by one of the workers daily because i didn't understand anything they would say since they don't speak english. i was the only 18 year old who spoke english in the morning. i was a new worker to and they would make me do more than i was supposed to do. keep in mind i didn't even finish my training. i was told to do things the wrong way and then got yelled at for it. very dirty. not clean at all. i cleaned after hours working there and the towel was black and i had to replace it many times because of how dirty and nasty it got. felt very uncomfortable gking to work without the main manager there (chavele) she was the only one who was helpful and understanding. but when she wasn't there i was very uncomfortable, got dragged around aggressively by staff, not trained, told to do things i didn't know what to do. they made me make peoples food when i didn't know anything about making the bowls or burritos. very horrible place to eat at and to work at. i would give negative stars if i could. i did all the work it felt like or the other younger employees around my age did all the cleaning n hard labor to clean after working behind the kitchen sweating ur ass off. the older employees (cooks in the back) would blast music and would laugh and talk over the managers (chavele) orders. they joke around and laugh when everyone (as in the 3 others working. me and two minors) are doing all the work. also we have to take all the back lash from customers when we can't have a say in anything. we have to take all the "f*** you's" and no one else does read more

Worse chipotle location I have experienced. Visited this location when they first opened and it was Horrible. This second visit months later was the same. Never going back will take the drive to Menlo Park Mall. Taste of food is different (not in a good way) and they barely give you any food. I ordered 4 salads and had to request more lettuce , more rice and more meat. The one salad I only wanted meat in addition to lettuce and rice no other toppings. They only gave me 7/8 pieces chicken and 3 forkfuls shredded beef. I was tempted to cancel it. $30 later the food tasted horrible n barely any meat. Don't waste your time at this location. read more

I've been to a LOT of Chipotle locations but none of them have been this inconsistent. The barbacoa was dry and salty when it's usually almost wet (anyone who eats this will understand). I must say I always leave the Clark Chipotle very happy. All the staff is friendly, they all smile and they have a very nice manager. I'm well taken care of, the lines or short and I can't help but come several times a week. I highly recommend this location. I have given this location numerous amounts of tries and I give up. They give the SMALLEST portions, and get annoyed or laugh at you when you ask to put a little more rice than half of a spoonful scoop. Pretty disappointing compared to other chipotles in the area. You often end up with bits of stuff you didn't want because when they wipe the counters they do it recklessly and often end up brushing old food from the counter into the wrong containers. Portions are smaller than other chipotles (especially for the bowl, which ends up like half filled) except the sauce, which they drown you in. They're friendly and reasonably quick but the food quality is just not up to the usual standard. I live in Clark but usually drive to Edison when I want chipotle because the one there is on point. read more

Worst chipotle establishment I've ever been to. I've been a fan of the chain for years, going to both the Westfield and Menlo Park locations, so obviously when they opened one in my own town I was thrilled - boy was I let down. The first few times I went it wasn't too bad; staff was young but seemed knowledgeable, and food wasn't quite as flavorful and portions weren't as generous as the other locations I frequent, but I let it slide because it was so damn convenient. I went this past weekend; NEVER AGAIN. Staff members were incompetent and rude (with the exception of one sweet teenage girl). The person who rolled my friend's burrito annihilated the thing, leaving more than half of its contents on the counter rather than inside it. Then instead of just tossing it and making a new one, she grabbed another tortilla and wrapped the entire thing again. She then GAVE AWAY my salad to another customer, but argued with me that the one to the left was mine (I know it wasn't, because I saw this one being made as I was paying for mine). There were only 2 people in front of us, and it took around 30 minutes from the moment we began ordering to the second we walked out the door with our food. An absolutely miserable experience, I would rather drive the 30 minute roundtrip to Westfield/Menlo rather than deal with this place again. Oh, and the chips were stale!!!! read more
