Best chipotle experience of all time. Took half an hour to get my food but the customer service made up for it. This location has the best employee I've ever seen. Would 100% come back just to experience it again. Keep up the good work my man read more

Worse experience ever! Actually worse than the first time. I actually decided to give this place a second chance. NOPE, waiting in line no burritos, cheese, guac, chicken etc. we was just standing like how are you even open. Had no plan of replenishing anything. Lady ask where the manage is and if she could speak to the person in charge. Hiding in the back and took their sweet time like they knew it was about to be some bs. Terrible! Two times in a row. And i never leave a review thats how bad it was smh! read more

Don't waste your time with this location. I've received undercooked (hard as rock) rice. When ordering online for delivery they will not provide requested ingredients unless they feel like it. I recently ordered the Chipotle Honey chicken - which costs extra, received my delivery, no chicken in the bowl. Along with other missing things I asked for. If you do go, go in person and try to eat it within walking distance of their checkout counter in case they mess it up and you have to go back. read more

The place was an absolute mess! About 75% of the tables were not wiped down and covered with food. Outside tables were surrounded by trash all over the ground. Many outdoor chairs had been moved to surround one table and had not redistributed. Worst of all, the prep area where they assemble the bowls/burritos looked worst than a frat house kitchen on Sun. morning. It was 6:50pm on Sat. and they must have been understaffed. They were closing at 7pm and while we ate our burritos we saw them turn away so many people. The woman who helped us was kind, I think they just had no manager on duty. Chipotle needs to better staff their restaurant! read more

Stopped in for a bite during a day trip to Burlington- it was a great small meal to have before getting back on the road. The staff was very kind and you know they have their heads on straight to keep up with person after person and keep things "flowing". Delicious food in a laid back atmosphere- it was great. read more

Vermont Chipotles are always awful. Not once have I gone to one that has had everything in stock. Today - no queso, only meat option was chicken... other times no ice, also no queso, also only chicken. why every time? The Chipotles in New York are so much better, they always have everything in stock and are much cleaner. This is pissing me off. What causes this? The queso makes or breaks my meal. read more

Oh my god how the hell is a corporate run restaurant run this badly? there's always a line out the door, they're always out of half the food options, they refuse to do things like add optional double protein because they're always out of food. also they constantly close when they're supposed to be open. there's a dirty manager stealing somewhere, there's no way it's this bad naturally. Please please someone from corporate look into this. read more

I was picking up a DoorDash order and when I came in, I saw a huge crowd of people waiting to get their in-store and take out orders. The whole place was filthy. The floor and tables were dirty which is disgusting. Customers who were waiting for their orders were constantly complaining. Even Dashers including myself complained that their customer orders were not ready on time which causes contract violations. I had to unasign the pickup for that order to avoid contract violations with DoorDash and left without being paid for the order. The guy at the counter who was supposed to hand out the orders was a douchebag and mouthing off at all of the customers waiting. All of the staff at this location were very unprofessional and treated every customer like garbage. People like these staff shouldn't be working in retail or the food industry. They all should be fired for a lack of customer service. I hope this location get a visit from the Vermont Department of Heath for health inspection as well. Shut this location down for good! read more

Don't even wanna give a one star. Ordered online. Waited in the store 30 min. For my bowl to be filled with cheese and 4 pieces of chicken. Nothing I asked for in my bowl. Guess they were too lazy to fry chips. Out of those but let me order and pay for them. Slow and very poor management. Don't go here read more

Quite possibly the slowest restaurant I've ever been in. The workers are very slow and not efficient. I waited in line almost an hour just to place my order. Avoid this chipotle if at all possible read more

Wow, what a shame as Chipotle used to be top quality which made up for the spotty, inconsistent service. But now the food is downright awful and not even close worth the price. If you like cheap, chewy, and fatty meat at a ridiculous markup, continue to eat here as there is little other choice for Tex-mex in the area. But if you remember a time long ago when Chipotle didn't try to scam you by serving disgusting gristle disguised as edible meat, then please don't come here. read more

This location is consistently awful. Crunchy rice and dry as bone meat. I give it a shot every couple weeks to see if they've improved but they never do. It tastes like they serve 3 day old food. read more

Chipotle Mexican Restaurant comes with the highest recommendation !! No wonder people were lined up to order their food found themselves nearly out the door . Once a month , we frequent Chipotle's Mexican Food . Yesterday, we ordered a bowl and a burrito to go! My son said that the burrito was the BEST he ever tasted ! " It had flavor." He has had burritos in several states on the East Coast as well as in California. As far as healthy food goes, Chipotle's can definitely claim it has a variety of healthy choices. You get what you pay for here. The prices are hefty - for a soda, bowl and burrito, you can expect to pay $30. However, you can expect that your meal will be delicious ! I highly recommend Chipotle's to anyone looking for an upscale meal for take-out, although, there is plenty of seating for customers after they have ordered. read more

Not bad, good quick service and friendly staff. I could go either way, the location was very clean.

The hours are always wrong and they never change them. Right now, they're claiming to be open until 10 or 11pm when they're actually "close until september 3rd". We understand you're short staffed, but the least you can do is let people know when you'll actually be open. read more

First time at Chipotle about a week ago, and I had a great experience! The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and Grace and Jake were incredibly friendly. They walked me through the whole ordering process and made it super easy. I left feeling full and satisfied. Shoutout to them for making my first visit such a positive one! read more

I can't believe a place this badly run is still in business. They're constantly closed at weird hours, mobile ordering is almost never available, and they're always out of half the menu. They're overstaffed when things are empty, and have one person working during dinner with a line out the door. Whoever is running this restaurant is an absolute moron read more

Despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty and there were plenty of employees, the trash receptacles inside the restaurant were absolutely overflowing, the tables were dirty, my Carnitas was cold, there were no fajita vegetables or sour cream, and the overall place was just kind of grubby and unsanitary feeling. My wife and I were delightfully surprised that we didn't get sick from our meal. It just goes to show, you can't pay people to care. read more

We LOVE our neighborhood Chipotle! The staff are so kind and sweet, they have become like extended family to me and my kids. They admittedly went through a rough patch with staffing issues, but with lots of hard work, and the dedication of their Manager, they on back on track. It is a busy location, as the food is excellent. They now have consistent hours, and online ordering in full effect. We couldn't be happier! read more

Won't be coming back! I felt extremely disrespected by one of the servers (I think her name is Grace) to the point that other customers were coming over and asking me what her issue was! She asked me if I would like rice and beans in my bowl, and I politely replied "white rice please, but could I have a larger portion?" And she arrogantly cut me off and replied "beans, do you want beans?!?" The truth was yes! I did want beans she just cut me off and scowled at me for the rest of the bowl making process, and as I was walking to the soda fountain, I heard "OHHH MY GOD, IT'S THAT EASY, BEANS OR NO BEANS UGHHHH" extremely loudly to the point where I could hear her from the booth by the window and other customers were staring at her. My friend and I felt like we came in nothing but polite, and I'm sad not to be able to return to my local post gym chipotle spot. Hope this gets seen, as I'd like to return to my favorite local chipotle and not get verbally assaulted as I eat! read more

I walked in and there was no wait. It was relatively clean. It's chipotle: I go because it's relatively healthy and tastes good. However, this location seemingly did not season their chicken. I know this is Vermont-- and I'm a southerner so I'm judgy-- but my god this was the most bland chicken I have had in a very long time. I grabbed it to eat in my car while waiting on an order from somewhere else nearby. If this is what I can expect from Chipotle in VT, I'm in danger. If you don't care about seasoning, go forth. If you do, YMMV. read more

My favorites: --Cilantro Lime Rice --Pulled Pork Chipotle Bowl --Guacamole I normally hate fake Mexican ir Tex-Mex food. Spoiled by having had years of the real thing (genuine regional Mexican cuisine), which is SUBLIME. Bur Chipotle knocked my socks off: The pulled pork, perfectly seasoned and richly sauced, was "melt-in-tour-mouth" tender. Flavors were nuanced, fragrant. The guacamole was 90% real, ripe, and creamy avocado (with only a touch of binders (oil? mayo? who knows what "salad dressing" fillers most "Mexican" restaurants use to save on expensive avocados). The cilantro lime rice had the perfect texture. The "cilantro and lime" flavors were noticeable and nice -- but I had hoped for a stronger "dose" of both ingredients. I wish little bowls of lime wedges & chopped green cilantro leaves had been available, but--the total Chipotle experience was YUMMY and DELICIOUS and NUTRITIOUS. Prices were fair. Service was fast and efficient. Ambience in this Burlington, Vermont location, though, kinda sucked -- super-loud, clattery, nerve-wracking, unlovely, and uncomfortable. But--no problem! I always order "to-go" and take the sumptuous meal(s) home. The to-go containers are great at keeping the food nice and hot. I LOVE Chipotle -- and I rarely feel that way at other (comparably-priced) restaurants. read more

I am honestly surprised by all the negative reviews this location has. I come here regularly (at least once a week), and each time has been a good experience. Knowing how busy this location can be, I'm usually prepared to wait in line for 10-15 mins during lunch hour. I feel for the folks running behind the counter, because I can only imagine how nasty customers might be (especially given all the negative Nancy's in the comments). Worst chipotle I've been to. Completely filthy inside. Staff was really out of it. This place needs a revamp. Avoid

Well, it's Chipolte, so you know what you're getting if you've been to any other Chipolte. The food quality of good, but this location seems to have longer lines than others I've been to. I don't think it's busier than other places, I think the employees are a little slower here. The tables could also be cleaned more often. Most people don't clean up after themselves, so the staff needs to be more diligent. read more

First off, anyone who works at chipotle is an angel. This work environment seems like hell on wheels, made worse by the customers. Reminder that this is the One chipotle in the state of Vermont. We don't have extensive chain restaurants, and we have very few of the good ones. Anyone who leaves an obnoxious review complaining about minor things like silverware or sauces probably has never had the unfortunate experience of working in customer service or having multiple demands on them at one time. Have some empathy, think before you speak, and touch some grass. I am thankful for this chipotle and it's basically one of three things my friend Chris eats. read more

Standard chipotle with slower than average lines. Servers are friendly, but seem like they need a few more servers to help out. They were so busy that we never saw anyone come out to wipe down any of the greasy dirty tables. Also, our chips were unedible due to the amount of salt stuck on them. read more

Great tacos, friendly and quick service. They had a sign up with several jobs listed, so they're short handed, but still doing a great job!

This is another review on the same chipotle I've had trouble with in the past. This one is also now only open from 4:30pm to 10pm and left this sign on their chair when I was going in to get food. If they can't keep up with orders they should put a cap on how many they accept and actually allow in store paying customers to order. read more

Let me start by saying Chipotle is my jam... BUT NOT THIS LOCATION! I have been here 10 times total since they first opened. The first two times it was great! Clean, happy peeps working, and the portions were totally reasonable. Since then each time I go, it gets worse... which makes me SO sad because I love the food. I am not kidding when I say the portion size must have declined by 75% since starting to come here. Even when you ask and pay for extra meat, the woman actually looks like she is counting how many tiny pieces she will add (which is roughly 1/2 a scoop more but should be a full scoop.) This place has become a complete rip off! Oh and your total is NEVER the same! One day it's 12.50 total, one time 14.50, and one time 10.50. I ALWAYS get the exact same thing. I'm not sure if these employees get some sort of kick back for not actually giving appropriate portions of meat, but anytime I go out of state to any other Chipotle, I am given 4X the meat that I am given in So. Burlington's location. Also the workers are way less friendly than they were when the place first opened. I'm super bummed that we have such a sucky location for such great food. Wish there was another option in VT. read more

DON'T ORDER ONLINE/FROM THE APP!! I don't usually write reviews for chains unless there's something really wrong/outstanding. That being said, I would like to warn people about online ordering (at least at this location). You'll get an itsy bitsy portions made by the person in the back. Because they don't have to face you, they'll just throw a tiny bit of food in the bowl and send you on your way, hoping that you won't take a peek before you get home. I think I counted 6 pieces of chicken in my bowl. Really disappointed. Asked for extra rice. Didn't even get enough to line the bottom of the bowl as you can see in the pic. Food was ready a few minutes past my pickup time, which was no biggie but the quantity certainly left something to be desired. I work in retail and I get that it's busy at dinner time, but this is unacceptable. Have some pride in your work people! I've never seen a portion so small at any other Chipotle. I feel bad for the Door Dash workers who are going to get bad reviews/no tip when it's not their fault. If you're picking up yourself, spend the extra 5 minutes in line and get a normal sized portion. My stomach sure wish I did. read more

I love Chipotle, but not this particular location! I was there at 2:00pm on a Monday. Filthy (disgusting) dining room, bulging trash bins, no iced tea, no napkins, no plastic utensils.
