I got routed on I-70 by my GPS to get home from work. I stopped at this Chipotle to pick up a salad for dinner on the way. The staff was friendly and the portions were ample. It's amazing how things like portion size vary from location to location. I got a salad with romaine, carnitas, honey chicken, corn, salsa, cheese, and guacamole (yes it and I am extra). The absolute worst chipotle I have ever been to. Avoid at all costs if you are trying to have a good experience. I love chipotle as a whole and this location is a cancer to their entire franchise. I went to this location with a mobile order due for 3:00 and my coworker had one due at 3:05 I was picking up as well. They were not done at 3:30 and helped every single person in line. After finally getting them, they were not at all what we ordered and quite frankly, not good at all. The staff gives you dirty looks and pretends you don't exist while they serve 20 other people instead of honoring your online order. Avoid at all costs. I go here regularly and will never come back. What's not to love about Culver's! Great tasting, high quality and fresh food! Polite and friendly service with a smile! The restaurant was clean and a team member worked hard to keep it clean. They have a drive through that was very busy but we like to dine in. I like the burgers with Swiss cheese and the Gluten Free bun! I love Chipotle. Rice is my favorite food. This rice however was overcooked. Honestly, my past 6-8 chipotle visits have had overcooked rice. I love the rice and flavor but they have to get back to the right recipe and unmushy rice.. now that that's out the way, I was greeted by EVERYONE upon entry which was nice. I usually come to this chipotle rather than the one closer to my house. I was very disappointed. When i first walked into this establishment they were cleaning their food service area. I asked the gentleman working if they were closed and he stated no and that they would be with me shortly. I waited about 6 minutes and my order was taken. The gentleman fixing my order seemed to be really distracted as he gave me white rice when i asked for brown rice. He kept talking to other individuals that may have been his friends, so he was quite distracted. I didn't realize that he was making my food with no gloves on, which was pointed out by another staff member when I got to the register. We ordered delivery via Uber Eats. Order arrived on time and Uber driver did everything right. HOWEVER, when I opened the bag of my 2 items ordered, 1 was my order & the other item was someone else's. There's no way to call the store and speak to someone. If you call the number for the store, you get an AI Robot & to way to talk to a real person. I had to drive to the restaurant w/ my bad order to get it resolved. The staff there just threw together another order and gave it to me. No sorry, no apology. Just RUDE!!! Now I admit that I was upset about the entire situation. Hello, I had plans on getting a bowl from my local Bridgeton Chipotle located at 3533 Mckelvey Rd. Upon entering the establishment I was made aware that they were out of brown rice with no estimated time of having the rice back on line. As I'm getting my bowl prepared by one of the line workers I noticed the proportion sizes seemed to be small regarding my choice of protein I selected. The employee sat my bowl down awaiting for next person to finish. The next person was the Manager on Duty and I asked her was that the appropriate portion size. She then went and grabbed a clear container from under the counter and began to take the chicken out my bowl and place it in the container. She then put that same chicken she removed back into my bowl and at that moment I stated that I wasn't going to purchase nor eat that bowl that was prepared because of the actions that she did. I asked her to remake my bowl and she told me no because there was nothing wrong with it. My feelings of safety and having my food picked through was not acceptable to her. She then left my bowl right on the counter and serviced other patrons. She then left the line briefly and called the authorities on me citing that I was causing a disturbance. While on the phone several other employees attempted to service me but she told them to stop and to work on other guests. At one point several customer even asked why couldn't she just remake the bowl so that everything could be right. She was refused to answer them and refused to say anything to me. I even asked why did she call the authorities and she never said anything. She never asked me to leave the store because I would've did so respectfully. She willful chose not service a guest for no reason and called the police as an intimidation tactic. Is this how Chipotle runs there operations? I asked for her name and she refused to provide that information as well. She seemed pretty confident that her actions were justified and claimed that I was interrupting service but all other guests were serviced beside me. Would leadership agree with the way I was treated. Please pull the cameras from that location and you would see what she did and what occurred and tell me if you would eat a bowl after someone just did that with your food? She wiped off the counter in her gloves and picked through my food with the same gloves on and the expectation was for me to eat the bowl she just fingered through. I do believe that is a clear violation of ServeSafe. I have video of ending of the interaction and how she is talking to customers. I was never aggressive towards her and still in total disbelief that I was treated that way from one of my favorite restaurants. I hate to say it but this situation has deterred me away from patronizing this business and I will be leaving as much feedback and reviews as I can until that manager is reprimanded. read more

I am almost 40 years old. This was my first time at Chipotle. You know why? Because fast casual Americanized Mexican is too basic to spend $8-$10 for lunch for. Rice. meat. lettuce. tomatoes. Beans. None of this stuff is so complicated I can't make at home for far less. And yes, I get it- convenience during a 1-hr lunch reigns supreme over something actually creative to tantalize our palate visually and tickle our tummies deliciously. But, I thought, maybe, just maybe in this basic looking building with simple signage that if it didn't have windows would resemble a free standing cell block prison would hold something that made the ordinary extraordinary. That this multi-million dollar business gained notoriety because a bunch of middle-aged men suits in a board room laughed all the way to the bank because they have unleashed all the potential in a tomato that us mere mortals failed to do. Nope. This food is too basic for my limited lunch money. The only reason this place got the 3 stars I gave it is because the service was great, every associate was on it and got a line of lunch rush customers in and out surprisingly quickly. And the food was fresh. Although the more I learn about food I realize that fresh is much cheaper than prepackaged/precut/prechopped processed food, and it is in the best financial interest of restaurateurs to buy fresh ingredients in its whole state and prep in-house. So to the millions who love Chipotle, I don't get it. But, I am not a middle-aged man in a suit who doesn't cook. read more

THE WORST CHIPOTLE I'VE EVER BEEN TO!!!! I hate giving bad reviews but, I have come here multiple times over the years and have yet to have a half way decent experience. Everyone is extremely rude. If you ask for anything they will either give you a big sigh and throw things, fill your bowl less than half way, give you way too much sour cream just to be rude, or they may just straight up tell you NO. I visited at lunchtime on a Wednesday. They weren't taking app or online orders so I went in after finally being able to park. Parking lot completely full, yet restaurant had just two people eating in and only 4 people long. There were more employees in the restaurant than customers. I suppose the employees all parked in customer parking? I begin my order. Restaurant did not seem particularly clean. No rice at all and they stated they didn't have any more to make. No black beans, either. Very unfriendly staff. I left without placing an order and went across the street to their competing chain with a similar menu. GONE DOWN HILL. This Chipotle used to be my regular Chipotle spot as it was the closest one in my area. The service has gone down drastically within the last couple of months. Workers don't care as much, whenever I walk in, the environment created by the workers make it seem so that the customer is in the wrong for even walking into the store. Whenever I ask for any sides, I get back the most mundane response, with a huge sigh. They also stopped giving out vinaigrettes, which is another big reason why I stopped going to this Chipotle. I asked one worker for a side, they said it's salads only, asked another worker, they said they didn't have any. I will never order Chipotle again at this location! read more

One of the better Chipotles I've visited. Stand alone spot but pretty lengthy lines on all my visits. Staff was quick. Some friendly and others short tempered. Seemed to alternate on every other visit. Ate inside occasionally, but generally had my burrito or bowl to go. Cleanliness was above average. Like the staff temperament sometimes it was tidy and other times straw covers and salt on many of the tables. Outdoor seating was clean. Clean class which is a pet peeve of mine. Especially with the stores being so modern and visible. Still would return next time in St. Louis. read more

First of all, I go to chipotle all over the country whenever I travel because the quality of the food is excellent for the price in my opinion. This particular location is usually pretty good, but not all the time. Sometimes their steak is overcooked, sometimes their line is not full of necessary portions to fulfill orders when they are busy. I just walked in to get my typical steak burrito and an employee was getting their meal prepared for them by other employees. The manager, Blake, saw this, and ask them to get to me as I was waiting. Blake then proceeded to comp me my burrito for my short wait that I had. That to me speaks of his character. Chipotle would do well to find managers like this. read more

I've been to this chipotle several times and it's normally just okay, but this time was awful. I mobile ordered my food and it was ready when I got there, but my chips were completely undercooked. To the point that it felt like they had been dipped in the fryer once and that was it. They were also extremely salty. My queso was cold (I was 2 minutes late picking it up) and I had asked for extra rice and there was barely any in my bowl. As I was leaving I tried to say thank you to the girl behind the counter, but she just rolled her eyes and went back to talking to her coworker. I love Chipotle. I eat Chipotle regularly. This is the worst location. They are consistently rude. The food is consistently sloppily put together to the point of a huge mess or inedible. They refused to honor the free Guacamole offer on the Chipotle app. They often have stale tortillas. The chicken from this location can also be bland from time to time. Brand new location off st Charles rock rd. cute inside w many stools & maybe 8 tables inside but a patio outside as well. I really only frequent qdoba but got a work group of 17 people to try out chipotles new location. Pros: the place is cute, trendy, staff real friendly. Food is fresh. Cons: ( & these matter the most to me) Parking lot very small especially coordinating 7 car groups. We all parked at the adjacent kohls parking lot. Food: although fresh, only 4 ounces was placed in my chicken bowl / 1 scoop. Qdoba does a 2 huge scoop standard, but I always get. 3 scoops! So I had to ask for way more. However the corn salsa & extras was piled on. There are no BBQ sauces or fun cheese sauces. I would have really enjoyed that w my chips & chicken bowl! So it lacked alittle in flaver. No cookies or brownies or any extras there. Probably will not return but head to nearest qdoba (fifth st.) read more
