I ordered two $4 Senior specials, one lasagna and one spaghetti and meatballs. The meals come with two breadsticks and a choice of a salad or a slice of pizza. The lasagna wasn't anything special. The spaghetti with meatballs came with two meatballs. I added a side of 3 additional meatballs for $2. The spaghetti I would order again. The portions were smaller but you can't beat the price. I came to this location today. I haven't had fazoli's in years. My boyfriend has never had it before. Rating would be about a 4 to 4 1/2. Food was delicious and smoking hot. Ambiance was great. Service was ok. They forgot to give me my drink. I had to go up to the cash register to get it. No big deal. Did not realize that they had the self serve machines as well as grabbing your own to go box and your own silverware to use. Purchased 2 chocolate chip cookies. Was not offered a refund. Got 3 brownies for free. Brownies taste like dark chocolate. I would definitely recommend this place to those who love Italian food cause I am one of them. Stuffed shells tasted incredible. I loved them. Breadsticks were on point but not hot. Wait time was long at Olive Garden. This place was a short driving distance. MAN! I have not been to Fazoli's in ages so I was surprised they were still in business. Got some on New Year's Day as they were one of the few places open on NYD and they have a drive-thru minimizing human interaction. The garlic breadsticks are very addicting. I ordered the Classic Sampler which is lasagna, spaghetti and alfredo. I will admit, I was scared to bite down on the meatball because most places that are not authentic Italian restaurants may not have great meatballs. I was pleasantly surprised that the meatballs were great! It was only 1 in my spaghetti so I felt like I had to cherish that meatball half a bite at a time. It could of used more sauce on the spaghetti. Seemed like a lot of noodles and not enough sauce. The alfredo was good too but I wish I had added chicken and gotten more sauce. It needed just a little bit more love. The lasagna was on point surprisingly. I ordered online for me and my family after our long day out. We picked up and went home expecting to be able to enjoy the $42 meal we just purchased. Our pastas were dry and the breadsticks were horrible. 12 came with the meal and all were played with, ripped apart, and smashed before being bagged for my order. I was so speechless and pissed that they bagged this up for me and my family as if we were dogs. This is horrible and unacceptable. This is not the real Italian food you may think of. However, nonetheless, it is decent food when you are in a hurry and you need a meal. When you don't want to cook or travel too far to eat a decent meal, this is the place. The desserts are best to me and the sandwiches, well sandwiches are what they are here and they are not bad at all. I have nothing bad to say about Fazoli's it has always been a good cheap family place to eat at and yes they take short cuts on the food, but that is what it is a chain restaurant and they are good at what they do. The thing I like, the customer service, this makes the food better to me, even if it is not the bomb...diggidy...it is decent, wholesome food with great customer service and that means a lot to me. I would rather eat here than at McDonald's. You have enough of a variety here that you can enjoy yourself eating her 2-3 times a week sometimes if you like pasta and close to Italian themed meals as possible. read more

Bought half gallon of Sweet Tea($4),10pc. wings($13.99) & Baked Meatball & Spaghetti($10.99) extra meatballs(3)($2) & of course the garlic butter bread sticks. 5 of the wings were Garlic/Parmesan & the other 5 were Honey Barbecue. The wings were on the small side and I didn't care for the Garlic/Parmesan they didn't have a lot of flavor. I liked the Honey Barbecue. The wings were also a little on the tough side. The 3 Meatballs they give you are about the size of a donut hole and they taste ok nothing exciting. The spaghetti sauce was good but could have used more and the spaghetti was cooked Al-Dente,Perfectly cooked. They give you enough for 2 but get extra meatballs! I haven't eaten here since 2015 and looks like it will be a while before I return. The Tea had a brewed sweet taste I liked it. The breadsticks were ok. They are always hit or miss. These were more on the bland side. I prefer the bottom of the sticks to be saturated with the butter garlic sauce these had just a hint of sauce. I heard the manager say that Fazolis is using STL for their test market in several changes they are making. I love the changes! Changes like real silverware, plates and cups. They redecorated the inside of the restaurant, the colors are lighter. They started a number system and bring the food to you instead of you walking back up to the counter after the pager went off. I'm guessing the food hasn't changed, but I had never ordered just plain ravoli and meat sauce there before. I did today and I was impressed that it was so hot I couldn't eat it! To me, their food is mediocre in temperature, so I was glad to wait a few minutes. They also had someone offering breadsticks, which they used to do and I had not seen in forever. For what this is - fast food Italian - I love this place. You can get fast casual Italian food that's relatively cheap, and you can even get it in the drive-thru. There are always specials and coupons to use as well. The breadsticks are quite good and help at soaking up the sauces from your meal. Very disappointing. Two of us for dinner, wanted something quick but where we could sit down. I have not been to Fazoli's in many years but remember that they circulate with breadsticks and that there were big portions for the cost. This Fazoli's does not look like others that I have been to. It looks like a former other fast food restaurant that was very cheaply converted. The staff was friendly, although not very efficient. The food was passable, but not worth the cost. Nor were the portions large. They clearly have changed over the past few years. There was an employee circulating with breadsticks, but we had finished our meal by the time she got to us. I remember this being one of their hallmark items of customer service. She also did not have enough breadsticks for everyone. I think if you are going to offer this service, it should be a complete service and not something that is only partially implemented. Unfortunately, we will not go back, the quality of the food and the half-attempted service is simply not worth the price. I did see that they have an all you can eat pasta option. A friend of mine and I wanted Italian food that was at a relatively decent price. The restaurant where we wanted to go in Maplewood was closed for good just recently and didn't find out until last night when we were going to go there. The other Fazoli's were we were going to go was closed for good, too. Both of us were freaked out a little that two place where we go regularly are closed. After reading some reviews and some different comments, we decided that we would go someplace else but that place was too crowded so we went to this Fazoli's. We weren't sure if we wanted to go here. but we did. It's set up like all of the Fazoli's where you order at the counter and then they bring the food to you at your table. They have made significant changes; everything used to be in plastic like a fast food place but not anymore at this location. They serve it on china type plates that are oven safe because our food came out to us probably directly from the oven or broiler. There are metal knives and forks and not plastic. It's a major improvement over how they used to be and feels more like a restaurant and not a fast food joint. Their numbering system makes it easier to find you when they bring the food to you; you don't go get it anymore like it used to be. The food has improved considerably and it tasted a lot better than the last time I was at a Fazoli's. Overall, they have made some good improvements to it and it's much nicer than it was before. read more

This is my second time grabbing food from here and this is probably the worst time. I had a Togo lunch order due to me being on a time schedule for holiday shopping! I ordered the fettuccine with marinara and a slice of pizza. The pasta was BEYOND dry and had a half a scoop of sauce on it, the pizza slice isn't even worth talking about. The service is the best thing about this place. The guy at the front, I presumed was the manager because the name on my receipt is a female's name. I'm super disappointed because there was a good amount people in there so I was hoping that I was going to get something good but the total opposite happened. Traveling through town stayed the night and thought why not Italian? Order some food to go was really excited but when I got to my hotel and tried everything it was just a disappointment. The sauce taste like can sauce and I ordered the baked ziti I've had better, my husband ordered chicken Alfredo and the chicken looked like frozen crispy chicken I got my daughter the kids Alfredo and she will eat anything but she did not eat that, both Alfredo plates sauce was lacking a lot. Stopped in with some friends for a late lunch. Cashier/Waiter Corey looked annoyed that we were wanting to order food. Took several attempts for him to ring up our order correctly due to him just not paying attention, despite the order being put in the system correctly Corey still managed to give us the wrong salads and forgot the soup we ordered. I ordered the ultimate sampler with double spaghetti and meatballs instead of alfredo pasta, food arrives and I see ONE meatball for a double order of spaghetti and MEATBALLS. I asked a waitress walking by if I could get at least another meatball and she said that's how it's supposed to come. After telling her that i didnt think that was right she went and brought me one with an attitude. ONE meatball for a double order of spaghetti and meatballs! Now the breadsticks, this is the reason why I come here, its thr reason my friends came here and it's the reason I think most people come here, because of the UNLIMITED breadsticks... My friends and I each got one breadstick on the side with our meals, as you can probably imagine that disappeared pretty quickly, now the waiting game begins...not a single waiter to be found coming around with breadsticks, after waiting around for about 4-5 mins my friend just gets up and goes to the counter and asks them for some more. We each get 1 more. We slowly eat those hoping someone will come to bring us more before we are done but again no such luck. Finally Corey walks by and we ask him for more, he says they are making some, at this point we are just sitting there staring at our cold pastas with no bread. Finally Corey brings some and guess what, he brings us TWO (theres 3 of us!) and they are crushed/bent like they fell on the floor or something. I immediately ask to speak with his manager, manager comes and apologized and shortly after we got a good fresh batch of breadsticks. Corey is very rude and clearly doesn't care about his job, In front of his manager I said to him "so this is what you bring 3 guys who have been waiting for breadsticks for about 10 min? and his reply was "yeah" his manager immediately told him he was going to take care of it from here and told him to leave. I hope this Corey will be dealt with accordingly because he is not someone I would want working for me. Overall very annoying and stressful experience and we decided we will not return anytime soon. This was the first time I have eaten here in about six months. Stayed away because of a bad experience and this visit was not any better. They were out of clean forks and said there wouldn't be anymore ready that night (it was 6:45pm) and gave me a plastic to go set. I asked for a couple of extra bread stix with my meal and they said sure. They didn't bring any with my food so I asked again. The server said she would bring them right out. Didn't happen.
