Been here a few times, never had an experience that really made me want to come back. Typically taco cravings keep bringing me back... My last time here I came in for dine in to get a couple tacos. I waited at the counter for about 5 minutes while employees came and went asking each other "has the counter been helped, can you help the counter, who's getting the counter". AWKWARD. When I was finally helped I ordered two tacos and a ranch. As soon as my order was placed, the employee shut down the register. Not sure why, but I felt a bit more awkward. It was the middle of the day, no other customers were in the building or the drive through when I came in, but the tables were not wiped off. When I opened my tacos they were not cooked all the way, had WAY too much lettuce and were both broken in multiple spots. I don't plan to return. read more

Ordered a Big deal box for a late night meal on the way home. The box was only $5 for 2 tacos, burger, fries, and a soda- great value. The food was hot when I received it and very good for fast food. Jack in the box tacos are always my favorite. The wait time was long but they seemed to be busier than usual. I mostly gave three stars for the cleanliness- the lobby floors were sticky and the fry station and food station looked dirty and needed to be wiped down. read more

Couldn't GIVE 0 stars sadly I've tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt, but at this point, I can't ignore how bad the service is. Every time I come here, I regret it. I keep thinking maybe it was just an off day, but now I realize this is just how things are here--plain rude and dismissive. I'm not a high-maintenance customer. I don't expect extra attention, just the basics--acknowledgment, a neutral greeting, some level of basic customer service. Instead, every visit feels like I'm annoying the staff just by ordering food. In the drive-thru, I get hit with a robotic "anything else" after every item, and when I say "hello" or "thank you," I get nothing back--just a blank stare. And if that wasn't enough, the hours at this location are all over the place. Half the time, I don't even know if it's open. I used to be a big fan of Jack in the Box, so it sucks to see nearby locations shutting down, but honestly, if this is the level of service across the board, maybe it's time for a bigger change. I'm not asking for "Chick-fil-A" level enthusiasm, just a little basic human decency. A simple hello, maybe? Is that too much to ask? Either way this is my last visit to this location. read more

Not only did they give onion rings instead of potato wedges, I found a hair in my taco. Tried to give the benefit of the doubt, pulled it out just to find another one. Incredibly speedy breakfast service: Seconds over two minutes from order time to being handed my meal at the drive-thru window! Naturally, that means there was no one in front of me. However, coffee creamers were out of stock, which meant black coffee (who can drink that stuff?), and napkins were forgotten (how does that happen for a take-out order?). read more

I tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt over the years. However, apparently no improvements have been made in providing better service. This year some days they are open, some days they are closed. The reason provided is whenever they don't have enough workers, they close. Unfortunately, when closed, they leave their lights on and open sign illuminated. The drive through can get really busy even though they are closed. Turning off the open sign may help, but for some reason they refuse to. I've talked to the manager and apparently they don't want to let customers know they are closed. They continue to leave the open light lit and lights on every day. What makes things worse, you can also place orders through their app, pay for them, travel to the store only to find out they are closed. I've had this happen a few times. I called, left messages, and they never call back. I had to personally go to the restaurant when they were open, but was never offered a refund or compensation. They only gave a reason of closing early and provided me with the order I originally made. They were not very apologetic. One time while I was there, A customer came inside the restaurant complaining no one was answering the drive through. The restaurant said they were busy. Sadly, there were 2 employees in the parking lot talking, another in the front smoking, and about 4 in the kitchen. At the time, there was only 2 customers inside the restaurant and a full drive through line. I was shocked to hear the response the restaurant gave to the customer. Sure, a restaurant can close anytime. However, when closing, they should use a closed sign, not an open sign. Plus, when closed the ability to order through the app should be removed. Also, they should treat their customers better. It's not the customers fault, the restaurant is lacking organization. read more

Come up there everytime and they act like they not open! Sometimes only Jack in the box White Castle and Taco Bell are the only ones open over night. Which I get but to completely disregard a customer can turn away a crowd from a business fast. If you were hoping to fight getting out of bankruptcy I would think you'd take every order. Just weird. The food was flawless, the service was flawed. Extremely long waits with no visible customers. May have arrived when everyone decided to take a break inside of the establishment at the same time. I would give a 0 if I could. Gave my friend an opened straw and put it on the dirty counter. Her Diet Coke tasted like water. She took one sip and threw it away. I have not had Jack in the Box for many years. They are not located in places where I have lived recently. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, fries, and jalapeño poppers. The chicken and poppers were severely over fried and the fries limp. Odd disparity. One star for the friendly people working here. Other than that, this place is filthy and the food is poorly prepared (as mentioned before, usually over cooked/fried to a burnt crisp). They also let patrons smoke in the restaurant without asking them to leave. The staff seems afraid of these people. Not sure where the manager is or why simple things like cleanliness can't be managed. I mentioned my experience to coworkers and they said they can't believe this particular location is still in business. I agree with them. Where are your brand standards, Robert Peterson? Evidently there no longer are any. Sad demise of a once great chain. There are other fast food options around. Simply wanting Jack in the Box is not reason enough to risk this place. Stay away. It really should be closed. I do feel bad for the workers. They are really friendly. But that is the limit of good things about this place. First off, I love their breakfast, and it used to be a Saturday thing for my family when we lived in Florissant, MO, buuuuuuutttttttttt...this JITB is not good! The people who work there--96% of them, pretty much--suck! Also, I've been there twice where I was 1) mooned by some guy STILL IN HIS HOSPITAL GOWN COMING FROM DEPAUL HOSPITAL, and 2) annoyed by a drunk guy who borrowed my daughter's phone to call a ride, when I was ordering our food. Maybe it's just a bad location, but I don't recommend dining in. The food isn't bad, but it's really greasy, and, like I said, I love the breakfast. This morning I encountered the worst customer service at the Bridgeton Jack In the Box (12298 Saint Charles Rock Rd, Bridgeton, MO 63044) that I have ever had in all my life and out of any state I have gone. Actually, it is the worst experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. After placing my order and arriving at the the drive-thru window, I had a question. All I wanted to know was what the difference between a combo and platter was. My asking this question set off the supervisor/manager to roll her eyes, huff at me and then become extremely nasty with her tone; raised voice, scoffing and an ugly attitude in communicating with me. She was also rude to the young female who was working the window. The supervisor/manager never answered my question; just keep asking me what side I wanted. After listening to her snap at me; behaving in an extremely unprofessional and rude manner for several minutes I had enough of being disrespected. I just said never mind, forget about it and I drove off without my order. I am dumbfounded that anyone who has such inept people, communication and leadership skills would be hired or employed in a position that requires them. At least now I know why over the last year when I go to this location all the employees seem unhappy, the food quality mediocre and the service is glum. What a shame ... Dear Jack, I think it's time to put your mystery shopping process back into play. This location has some major management and operational issues that are giving you and your company a really bad reputation. read more

I need to give up on this particular Jack-in the box at St. Charles Rock road. Waited for someone several minutes to just confirm that they knew I was even there in the drive thru, getting rained on while I waited for them ask for my order. Drive thru people do not listen to you, and then backtrack the the first thing you ordered when you are already ordering the 3rd item, gets very confusing when you have to do this. Sandwich was at most Luke warm, fries were hot though. Salad ordered was a chicken salad but no chicken in site when I unpacked it when I got home!!! Drive thru gentleman this evening didn't seem very enthusiastic, almost to the point of being rude. No thank you for your order, no conversation at all. Think I am done with Jack in the box, even though I like their food. There are other restaurants who are friendlier, get your orders right and have time for their customers that pay their salaries by buying from their store!!! Kitchen staff. Attention to deal is paramount. Ultimate combo plain with cheese. How difficult is it to pay attention to the orders that come up on your screen? I know it said plain. Your cashier working the window heard me say plain, plain came up on the verification screen at the drive-thru. Yet you people can't follow simple instructions. It should have been the easiest sandwich to make and you routinely screw it up. Why? Why is attention to detail such a hard concept to grasp? Whole sandwich, completely ruined. Kitchen staff needs to be removed and replaced with people that can take pride in getting the customer's order correct. It's not a hard job. I'm paying money for it, I expect it to be correct.
