I got lunch at the drive-thru today and opted to park under a tree and eat. The fries were amongst the best I'd had in a long time--just like I like 'em--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and well salted! AVOID this Wendy's!! We walked over here for breakfast while NTB inspected our truck. The breakfast sandwiches were greasy, the bacon was like an old leather belt and the gravy they smeared on it was very peppery. To make it worse, the chocolate cold foam coffee tasted like vanilla milk and the vanilla coffee tasted like citrus cleanser! The staff was VERY unfriendly and questioned WHY I would have a problem with it. We ended up throwing our meals out and walking to White Castle next door. They close the restaurant an hour early sometimes, even when there are cars waiting to be served. They don't care, they just want to leave. This has happened numerous times and instead of communicating with customers they ignore you and put cardboard in the windows so they don't have to look at you. I love Wendy's and have been a fan for a long time. Their burgers are quite tasty and I have always felt that they serve quality fast food. Unfortunately, this visit was not fast. I spent 15 minutes in the drive thru waiting to give my order. I was sitting at the speaker with a line of cars behind me. A couple of the cars thought I was holding up the line and when they left the line, they honked and yelled at me. The lady came on and told me it would be a few more minutes because they had a large order. They would not even take more order. When I finally was able to order, the food was delicious and hit the spot! I hope in the future, if they get a large order, they asked the vehicle to move up to a parking spot so others can order and get their lunch in a more efficient way. Don't worry Wendy's, I am still a fan and will return again for a tasty Dave's single with cheese. read more

We went to this Wendy's (there were 4 of us) last week. Out of the 4 cheeseburgers we ordered, 3 were barely warm, didn't even begin to melt the cheese and the 4th one just barely did. We took them back to the counter and the girl at the register acted like "why are you bothering me?" The person who seemed to be in charge took them and in a few minutes brought us supposedly fresh burgers which were slightly warmed (at least the cheese was slightly melted). We had also ordered 2 orders of fries which were slightly didn't get until we went back to the counter and pointed that out. They had to fry up enough potatoes to fill our 2 orders. While we were sitting & eating, we noticed a couple of other customers complaining about their cold food order's also. And this isn't the first time this has happened. We've gotten Wendy's chili that wasn't warm enough to melt the cheese that had ordered & had them add to it. It seems like the staff doesn't really care about how the food is that they serve. We'll be giving them another try in the near future & if it hasn't improved, we'll be calling the Health Department and file a complaint. read more

I hadn't planned on doing a review of Wendy's but gave this one a shot after a long day and a trip to the work/office. Historically Wendy's stood out for their fresh veggie ingredients on their burgers... (As I recall, the history of Wendy's, "Dave" a former KFC associate/manager who decided to start a burger chain) Back in the day many of us frequented Wendys, of course that changed as competition grew! I never felt Wendy's burgers were a stand out for one big reason... The "Meat" Why the meat you ask? Because it always seemed their burgers never ever had the seer required to make a great burger, they were always gray looking as if they had been cooked even boiled and sitting in a warm water vat! I could never confirm this as true thus I typically choose pretty much any of Wendys Competition. MAYBE Some patrons prefer their meat this way, and if so, great (I guess?) So after many years of being MIA from Wendys, today, I gave'em a chance. Fries were run of the mill frozen corporate factory fries albeit at least hot. (Anyone else getting to the point that IF you're going to waste calories/fat on Fries, they better be fresh cut amazing!?!!) To try to combat the mushy wet gray meat I remembered, I specified "Well Done" ... My order came up FAST... So Fast that I was certain No burger had been cooked well done. Burger, well the Lettuce,Tomato,Onion,Pickle were decent, to their credit they didn't drown it in Ketchup and Mayo, Cheese was Factory But the meat Stunned me... It looked nothing like Wendys meat of old (Which were square!), but had a weird sheen/ think Slightly browned Soy meat with the texture of Spam! (LOL I know Im oddly descriptive!) (Really harkens back to their old slogan "Wheres the beef?!?") A few bites I was underwhelmed,even after adding a dash of Salt and Black Pepper. It was when I got to the middle of the burger I experienced an odd Semi spoiled meat flavor that made me say "Enough!" For those who say Im overly picky, I can assure you there are MANY Better Burgers in the STL Area. (A recent Culver's burger, while not in the same league (heck the same galaxy) as Annie Gunns or Gastro Pub, blew this Wendy's burger away!) I guess once you've become accustomed to quality meat (Fresh Thymes,Meat Market etc Fresh Beef!) One shouldn't expect an amazing burger from a fast food joint... But one should expect meat that does not taste spoiled in places! (Always perplexes me! In&Out Makes a Great Product Out West for very reasonable prices! They have only a few items, but are consistent and thus Always Packed! STL Area midwest/ burger restaurants had better take note.... when/if In&Out comes to town, they will take your business even more than the other fast food competition has!..... Why? I bought a can of pringles- " Wendys Spicy chicken" flavor. Inside the seal was a code for a free Wendys spicy chicken to order off their app. When i arrived for my pick up order, the drive-thru was really busy. They still took the time to make sure my custom order was correct - No mayo, ghost pepper ranch condiments, etc. I appreciated that and I only paid $3.50 for my whole meal. Not even a huge wendys guy but ill likely be back to take advantage of the deals on the app like free 6 piece Spicy nugs. Thanks wendys read more

If you go to this location make sure you have all your food. The last 2 times I have gone there I have been missing some part of my order and they do not even give any condiments anymore unless you ask for it. In addition you have to remind them to give you your receipt. read more

The food was reasonably good but the service was horrible. Hailey didn't even say hello, she just stood there and looked at me. I told her my order and she walked away; didn't bother to tell me she had to ring it up at the drive Thru window. Then when my food was ready she held it in one hand and crammed it into the bag with the other hand, then handed me the bag without a word. When a gal came in from the store she carried on a conversation with her and greeted her happily. I got the silent treatment. Guess I should've went to Subway. The drive thru order taker had an attitude the whole time. She was very snappy. She got our order wrong, our bag was missing 3 of our sandwiches, just to find out she rung us up for the wrong sandwiches, which she was very rude when we told to manager about our whole order being wrong.
