When we ordered online, it gave us a time the order would ready by and they were late by over 10 minutes from that time. They were busy but also it seemed slow (they were giving out tours of the kitchen to some people during the dinner rush, I've never seen anything like that before) and there were a lot of other people there waiting like me for pickup orders. I got there early before my pickup time, and several people got helped in the in-store line before they helped me with my order (that I put in 20 minutes before anyone inside got there). So the online ordering system definitely needs help. The garbages were also overflowing when we left. The upside is the food was super tasty once we got it. Some of the most flavorful chicken at chipotle I've ever had, and the guac was excellent too. The employees seemed nice too. So if they worked on their timeliness, this place could definitely be 5 stars. Edit: got in touch with Chipotle support about this and they apologized but didn't do anything read more

I'm just wondering how many one star reviews does a place have to get for corporate to intervene because this place is always either out of food, dirty, or the employees look like they want to slap you for placing an order. There's so many times I've gone in there and my order was skipped out on and they look like you're taking the money out of their paycheck for asking for a little bit more rice, but then have a field day dumping sour cream in your bowl. And I advise anybody that read this review to never do an online order because they will literally fill up 1/3 of your bowl and good luck getting a refund read more

This location is consistently out of product. On today's episode of what are they out of. They were out of STEAK during dinner. I was not told this until halfway through my order and the person that told me, acted like he didn't really care. Just said we are out of steak and turned around and walked away. They weren't even cooking more yet to get it back in stock..... read more

Mismanaged! Poorly trained employees. EVERY time I've been here there's a problem. Today: waited over 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. 2 at grill, 1 at register, and one going back and forth between back and front. Then: NO steak ( it's 1:30 lunch time) and being told it would take 30 minutes. When I mentioned the acknowledgment issue, she didn't apologize, just shrugged "I'm the only one up front". I can deal with shitty customer service at "fast" food restaurants - but to not have the food available is just stupid. This store is totally mismanaged. Not going back. Going to drive to a further away store to avoid this one. read more

Portions are way too small. They always take forever with the mobile orders. They forget items and their chips are stale.

Steak Burrito, I cut this burrito open because I noticed that they only added a small portion of steak and there is literally like 6 pieces of meat, the stinginess of this location is unreal. I will definitely not be returning to this location, 1480 n orchard rd aurora, IL read more

I saw workers filling just a little new fajita peppers, beans, steak on top of the old. It seemed as though they were trying to cover up that they were using the old from night before. The fajita is also always soggy and over cooked. This was 11:00AM on Sunday! read more

I usually love this location, but this was pretty bad. I opened the bowl and it wasn't even half full. I think there is more sour cream than meat. read more

Okay so placed the first order for pickup at 12:20, picked up the food. Don't even bother checking the bag because it's usually right. Get home, one entree is missing so got a refund for that. Placed another order for the missing item and a pickup of 1:20 I get there and they say we're out of cheese. Like what the F!! If that was the case the first time then why not hold the bag and just say that or write on the receipt couldn't be made. Tried to refund it on the app again, they wouldn't, went in the store to cancel they say give us 15 mins we're cutting the cheese. Meanwhile I'm there until 2:10, just watching each customer come and go with orders, and then I finally get my order. Just unacceptable, I'll just stick to the Oswego location from now on... read more

Once a week, this location is out of meat or cheese or lettuce at peak hours. This particular instance, I went in 45 minutes before closing and there was no lettuce on the line although there was a very full container of chopped lettuce and stalks of lettuce waiting to be cut. I asked for some lettuce and the manager told me no. It was for the next day. I asked if he could pull some out and provide. He said it still needed to be washed. Washing lettuce isn't complicated nor is providing customers an item you clearly have. Never mind, on many occasions, the store is filthy. There's food on the line that's now on your food. Food on the floor. No napkins at times. One container of forks at times. No Tabasco at times. Dirty tables often. My last complain was an employee tossing cut chicken up in the air and catching it in his mouth...on the line no less. They also run through employees. I almost never see the same employees each month aside from the manager who is starting to seem like the common denominator for the problems. This location is prime. It's located on a great spot and I believe because of that, very little effort is put forth to please customers. I have gone in there with three people in line and have waited twenty minutes to be served due to personnel issues. (The turnover is bad). I have often said I wish I had the money to put a Chipotle on Randle where the new building are to put the Chipotle on Orchard out of business. They need to get their act together. Or not, because clearly they don't care about service with their 2.4 yelp review score. I'm giving 1 star because I can't give zero. I also want to add I've tried to contact Chipotle outside of the app because that's also hard to get a response and each avenue I tried to seek help in at least calling a district manager about the service has been ignored. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - No lettuce on line but lettuce in back that I was told I could have any on my bowl. - Mexican Near Me - Aurora, Illinois

Lowsy management. I arrived around 5pm for dinner and noticed 13 dirty trayed stacked up on the grill as well as dirty serving area. I was skeptical to order something but was craving chipotle. Thankfully, they didn't have chicken at the time and that was my sign to leave and go to Panera down the street. read more

Went for a bowl and I'm pretty sure there's new people and the person that was attending barely put any rice or beans but put a load of sour cream & red salsa and i don't know if something was going bad cause I've gotten chipotle before at other places and this has never happened, I swear on everything literally in minutes while I'm still eating my chipotle bowl my stomach starts making a lot but a lot of noise then I immediately get the runs and BAD! The rest of my bowl is 100% going in the trash! read more

in the last 10 orders, I've had stale chips 7 times. This is quite possibly the worst chipotle in the universe

Two straight times this location specifically has burnt the honey chicken really badly. So badly it ruined the taste of the rest of the bowl. Other locations have been totally fine but whoever is cooking the honey chicken at this location is really messing up. read more

My husband and I frequent chipotle at least once per week. We recently moved to Aurora and this is the closest location now. I can honestly say this is the worst chipotle I have ever gone to. Mobile orders are usually very skimpy portions. One night I ordered guac and there was literally a teaspoon. There is often a giant line with everyone in the back cleaning or focused on other things. They're frequently out of items. Frequently no chips. Very dirty inside quite often. We will be driving to Batavia just to have a better experience if we want chipotle. read more

This does not reflect this specific store but the company in general. Chipotle has the worst customer service and doesn't refund their customers for their error. I placed an order and received an error message that my order did not go through. I placed it again within minutes. Come to find out upon delivery, the first order did actually go through. So I was charged twice. I clearly would not place two exact same orders in two different transactions with two different delivery fees within a matter of minutes. I also should have received a call from the store double checking I wanted the exact same order twice. This was their error. The company won't refund me the money for their error. Worst customer service ever! I will not be giving them my business again!! To the customer service agent who comment below, I am NOT going through pepper again to try and solve this issue. I did that from the beginning and was kicked out of the chat with an agent three different times before being told by a fourth agent that one of the agents put in a ticket for my issue. If you have another way to contact someone directly, I'd be happy to do that. read more

Several times we have gone in and they are always out of the veggies. The prep counter is always messy. Ordered my food via the app cause they are always slow. Was there at the pick up time and it took 10 minutes to make my burrito. The manager/supervisor just sat and chatted with staff while one person was in the back hurrying to make the app orders. He asked me twice for my name but never went back to check read more

First off-the staff is overall friendly. There could stand to be more cleaning behind the counter at times. However the past 3xs I've been to this location, they NEVER have veggies. When I ask, I just get an "oh we're out and not making any more". I've been in early in the afternoon so that just makes no sense to me. Also had an incident where we were charged for free chips and guacamole from the app. Cashier says because they only have large bags of chips (not my problem), she couldn't apply the offer. We should have been told this before. We would have missed it if we didn't check the receipt. Food doesn't taste bad, but there's room for improvement in a few areas. read more

The workers here are definitely on something. Man making me and sisters bowl moved in slow motion (almost like he was trying to aggravate us???) and the other woman disregarded me when i was waiting for my bowl. Absolutely horrible customer service the cashier couldn't have been any more rude than she was. I will never again step foot in this location! If I didn't know any better I would say that I am in downtown Brooklyn New York instead of Aurora Illinois. Well I understand there is COVID-19 outside there's also a procedure if you do not want the silverware to be touched therefore don't put it in the front where a customer can grab their own silverware and walk out with their food and silverware on It's a simple fix and when I went to grab the two forks she literally was the rudest person! Came back for a second time to see if they would redeem themselves while to my surprise even the manager on duty is incompetent. You truly need to hire a new manager a new staff and not teenyboppers who look like Justin Bieber serving food and can't handle crowds on a Friday night. The Coke machine was out I had to go to the front and tell the manager to please put in a brand new coke me while you have over 15 people waiting just to get there food at this point why don't we just roll our own burritos serve our own bowls and call it a day and just give us free food. The cashier was more interested in talking to her best friends then to actually do her job at checking out people. So while she was catching up on her little episode of the Gilmore girls we all had to go on her to come back so we can pay for food and we can go home. Y'all you need to go together this is sad extremely sad I expect more from chipotle but I guess that's all I can expect from a company who has salmonella poisoning every of the year. Oh and also who discriminate against emotional support dogs so thanks but no thanks I will not be returning to this disgusting chipotle! I hope corporate sees this and I hope that they call me or contact me because my God do your people need real TRAINING! I worked beverage and food for years and never in my life have I seen table so disgusting route manager I cash and I rather talk about the Gilmore girls into actually check out clients get it together chipotle do better!!! read more

We recently placed a catering order for our daughter's birthday party at this location. The order was confirmed a few days before the party, but when I arrived 1 hour before the party began, I was Informed that they would no longer be able to fulfill the catering order. No rationale or reason was given for Chipotle's failure. Despite this, my card was still charged and no additional credits were offered. As a longstanding customer of Chipotle, it was beyond disappointing. Stay away! read more

Does Chipotle not understand their own menu? Ordered Chipotle through GrubHub. Quesadillas arrived without sides. It's fine, people make mistakes. I alerted GrubHub and they called the restaurant per procedure... to be told by the restaurant that "the quesadilla doesn't come with sides" and they aren't going to do anything about it. I didn't even ask for a refund I just wanted to let them know... but also if you are no longer doing sides how about take it off the description and image? I went into this location last week also and they tried to give the quesadilla without sides until I told them to use the container designated for sides.... Like their website says.... read more

No vinaigrette. Waste of money. If there is not going to be vinaigrette then there needs to be a discount on the meal.

Rude staff! Seemed like everyone was having a bad day and no one wanted to be there today. I get that a busy restaurant can be stressful at times, but when you are made to feel like you are making them mad for placing an order. Seems to me like they hate their jobs and should maybe look for another one if they are that unhappy to be there. I was there to pickup my order and then purchased a large drink. The girl at the register gave me the smaller drink size and when I asked her about it, she was so annoyed.. I guess do your job correctly, or give people what they paid for and you wouldn't have to be so bothered! Also the counter on where the other employee was making the burritos and bowls was a complete mess.. I saw him making the bowls of the people ahead of me and he was just do messy! the serving i get for the amount I'm paying for is insane. no it's not chipotle skimping out on quantity it's the lack of experience of ALL the workers. just because the person that is working doesn't know how to roll a full burrito should not affect the amount of food we get. therefore they put less food so it's easier to roll. if you do come here get the darn burrito bowl. read more

Good luck finding parking! This strip of stores and restaurants is a zoo. I have gone to Chipolte 4 times in the past two months, I really wanted a burrito bowl. However, everytime I go there, the Starbucks next door has a line blocking the entrance to the parking lot. Then if and when I can finally get into the parking lot, there are no spaces available.
