What I look for in Samosa Chaat is the different textures. Samosa's edges were completely soaked in overly sweet sauce, and there was not rispy fresh veggies and Sev (small pieces of deep fried Indian noodles). As a result, the texture was mono-tone, and too sweet to my liking. There was no hint of sourness (like from yogurt or citrus). There are different variations in Samosa Chaat, and people's preferences are diverse. Just that this place's Samosa Chaat was not impressing to me. # Butter chicken: It was spicy, there were a lot of tender chicken breast pieces with a nice hint of charcoal - which is great! But the sauce was too sweet to me, and it kind of interfered with my enjoyment of the spices/heat. # Naan: I felt they were dry and flat, and lacked flavor. # Samosa: I liked the potato and dough balance, and the texture of the dough. The main issue that I personally had was the level of sweetness in some of the items. They just did not hit my preferred balance of spice & sweet & tanginess.

This was my "go to" restaurant for year.s Never fails in variety of food and wonderful service. My…read moreconsidered opinion is one of the best Indian resteraunts in this side of Toronto. I am not mobile now but can't Waite to use delivery.

This place is Indian x fast food x freshi. But the regular seating area was comfortable. The service is great because they explain the whole process, you pick a curry (meat or veggie) with rice, salad on a naan pizza..many options. We both got bowls, I had rice with the beef curry, and all the veggies, topped with sauces. First off the rice was a bit firm, but the beef curry was good. The fresh veggies added good crunch and reminded me of Freshi but the flavours were totally different. I think the issue is too many sauces made the meal too rich and conflicting flavours so next time I would omit the sauces at the end. I appreciated the spice level, I got spicy and it was very spicy! My wife got mild and she enjoyed the kick. Portion size was huge so you get good value for your money. We were able to take some home, but the next day it was not good...so skip the doggy bag and eat until you are full! If you want Indian there are other places but if you want Indian flavours in a bowl/salad format give this place a try.

I would probably give this place a 3 1/2 if I could. Wanted a quick snack my sons could eat while I drove so they opted for their aloo tiki burgers. They liked them and said they would have it again but they didn't love them. I had a paneer wrap on naan. The paneer had peas in it but looked like it had been sitting a long time although the place had only been open for few hours. I added the chutney and garlic sauce they recommended. Other than the mostly aromatic sense I was eating Indian food, it barely tasted like it. That being said, the garlic sauce was pretty tasty as was the wrap overall. Not knowing anything about this place walking in, I was expecting Indian food that tasted more Indian. Having tried it, it was pretty good ... just not what I expected.
