Our "go to" Asian Food joint. Pretty much once a week. We drive from Aransas to get takeout. $33 we spend usually (it's by weight) and 2 of us eat for at least 3-4 meals. We love it. Was there with my husband and saw something weird on my plate. Investigating a little further I realized the weird thing I saw was a roach cooked into my sesame seed chicken. I'm incredibly disgusted this place is infested with roaches and needs to be shut down read more

Food is excellent but in recent months the selection is dwindling. One of the steam tables is usually empty. Being self service, I rate the service as Excellent! The ambiance is just like EVERY Chinese buffet I have ever been in. read more

It all looks real nice. There's just no flavor and the menu is very, very limited the desserts I tried were stale. Not for me.

Normally we really like this place. The selection is awesome and the service is good..The owner/management and employees work hard...BUT, we went in recently and noticed people not wearing a mask or gloves at the buffet..we let the Owner/Management know and then we left..did not eat. Was so excited to find a place that serves Egg Foo Young on the menu this side of the bridge, I know it's old school but one of our favorites! Unfortunately we were so disappointed. Not light and fluffy but overcooked and greasy. The wonton and egg drop soup was nothing special either. The flavors were bland and mediocre. Not the best of buffets but for the area, it's worthy of 4 stars. The green beans and all other vegetable entrees are good, some days the chicken is overdone and other days it's good. Food was very good . The ragoons yummy , hibachi chicken very good and flavorful. The jalapeño shrimp very tasty and spicy . Tried all soups all were delicious. There rice noodles very good . Pretty much everything I tried was deli and fresh . read more

The food was mostly bland and tasteless. There were only 2 items that were labeled spicy - and they were mild. The decor was likewise, bland and run down. The bathrooms were clean and the staff friendly. I doubt we will go back. read more

This buffet is pretty good. The have a good variety of sushi, dessert and hibachi. The place is always pretty well staffed and it's pretty clean. It's the only Chinese buffet I visit in Portland. read more

The selection was ok , but everything looked good but once you took a bite a lot of it was bland , they had very little beef and what they did have was so tough you couldn't eat it ! We saw the billboard for this place while going to the beach & figured that we should check it out. The location was kind of shady. But it was good once you got inside. The food was pretty good. I'm really surprised by the bad reviews on this place. I've eaten here many times over the years, and always had a good experience. It isn't the best Asian buffet I've ever been to, but the food is fresh and worth the money. Their Wonton Soup is really good, as well as their Chicken Skewers. I haven't had sushi there for a few years, but the last time I did, it was good and fresh -- not grey, as another poster stated. They also offer a takeout menu, and are very generous with the portions. The variety is okay at best but some of the food was cold. They keep up with the buffet at times. My last visit there were a few flies buzzing around the food which bothered me a lot. Waitress was watchful to ask when you needed a refill on your drink. But most Likely will not return read more
