The food wasn't all that great , the beef was a little unexpected. It seem like it came with more of a salad on top I could see anything when I opened it up , the food was really greasy overall . Like it had a bit too much of oil . The chili Sauce was like an el pato sauce before shaking . If I could give it zero stars . I would recommend that option for this spot read more

Terrible. I ordered moo shi pork and they gave me tortillas, flour tortillas, instead of the rice pancakes!! Shrimp with walnut was basically your frozen fried shrimp and they put some candied walnuts in the same takeout with no sauce of any type. read more

Overall I was pleased with what I got for the price of it! I ordered the combo plate (chow mein, fried rice & broccoli chicken). Portion size was great! Plenty of food for $7 (didn't finish it all in one sitting). The broccoli chicken was great! The vegetables tasted fresh and were cooked just the way I like them and there was great flavor! The fried rice was good as well! The chow mein was not what I expected. I'm used to more flavorful chow mein , but it was still good when I mixed it with the sauce of the broccoli chicken. I have been coming here just recently about the past 3 months. The food has been consistently good. Service is fast. I really like the chow mien. My son and his best friend love the orange chicken. They said the orange chicken is one of the best I have not yet tried the fried rice. The broccoli beef was also good. I will definitely come back from time to time for a quick dinner pick up or something like that. The price is definitely reasonable. Definitely cheaper and better than Panda Express. So disappointed with our recent purchase. When ordering items such as Kung Pao Chicken or Orange Chicken...it's literally a thin bed of it across a HUGE pile of white rice. First time trying this place on Monday and wasn't expecting much but was pretty amazed on the freshness and quality of the food. Hidden spot but great food. We ordered the pork fried rice, pork chow mein, beef broccoli, Kung pao Chicken and sweet and sour pork. Now disclaimer on the Kung Pao especially if you have an idea of what color or should be. Finally found good take out that is not pricey and portions are large. Ordered orange chicken, mu shu pork, and beef chow fun. Orange chicken is a little too sweet for my liking but it goes well with some rice. Beef chow fun was a bit bland but a little soy sauce didn't hurt at all. Flavors were fresh. 5 stars because the lady taking my order was so sweet and they were very quick to get my order. I think this place is now my go to spot for Chinese from now on. If you want good authentic-like Chinese food, this isn't that place. If you want American-Chinese "like" food...then this IS the place. Remembering when Big Daddy used to take us out for Chinese food every Sunday afternoon. It was this little place with red lanterns and wooden chopsticks, porcelain and real glasses. The owners were very friendly and always coming out and asking if everything was good (and it was). I remember the whole deep fried carp, dripping with sweet sauce...it was our favorite dish. Again, this isn't that place. It's really a Take-Out place to be sure. Seating is limited and let's just say it's "casual" and you won't find someone serving you water and beer in glasses. But what it is, is so much better than that greasy Panda Express or other Chinese food that all tastes the same. Here at China Town, the owners do the cooking and the cashier-ing. They are from China. They use fresh ingredients, the chow mien isn't greasy, it's actually very delicious. They know me, so I can ask for something special once in a while, like my dry long bean dish. I can't give you all my secrets! Chow Mien is about the noodle. Theirs are cooked just right. The Szechuan Beef dish is my favorite. Is it authentic? No, but it tastes SO GOOD. I love the Sweet/Sour Pork--yeah, that's right. I like it because it tastes good. I love to take my steamed rice and mix it in the gravy from Szechuan Beef dish...yum. The décor is sparse, the portions are substantial and the food tastes good. It's not greasy, it's not expensive and it's close to where I live. So, if you fain for some Kung Pow Chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork or some Noodles, I recommend this place (if you are in the area). The food was good; the veggie dish was plentiful, the chicken was served with a good portion. The shrimp dish was alright for the most part. I'd say the spicy salt wasn't completely distributed amongst the shrimps. For me, great customer service was key tonight. I will come back next time I'm in Chinatown. read more

Use to be great. New owners have completely ruined it. What use to take 10-15 minutes now takes 45. Which would be fine except that half the order was done in 10 min then sat there for another 30 while they worked on the rest of the order. So it was all cold by the time the last plate was ready. Please don't beat up on the appearance of the place . it's a take out place primarily but there are a few tables and chairs . lots of trade workers eat here and bunch from the Hospital . they serve in the to go containers with plastic utensils even if you eat there but that's ok because they give generous portions anyway . Only in the sticks of Clovis would a Chinese take out place like this get anything more than 1 Star. The cook smokes cigarettes out front before he cooks your dish. They water down the chili sauce and the hot mustard. Their food is covered in grease and oil. The only reason why they get at least one star is because they are the only Chinese restaurant in extreme east Clovis. C'mon Clovis, you can do better than this place! read more

China Town is my go to Chinese food takeout place. The food is very reasonably priced and you get a ton of it. I got 2 special plates and there is plenty left over for lunch tomorrow. Yes, the food is salty but Chinese food is kinda supposed to be right? The sweet & sour pork is my favorite item. At some places you get a lot of chewy meat or fatty pieces. I placed my order and the lady gave the cook the order and he proceeded to the kitchen and started cooking my food without washing his hands. Disgusting! It's made fresh...that's all i can really say. It's not BAD but its not GOOD. Just simply average as it gets -- now I don't even know why I am wasting a review on this. ...informing the public doesn't hurt I guess, but BAD FOOD will....so, hence my review. Try this place for yourself, but don't expect to be raving about it. It hits the spot if you're hungry (sorta). Disclaimer: By default, white people love places like this.
