    a plate of chinese food
    Shelda B.

After driving for hours in high winds, we needed a sit down break. So we pulled off of 40 East to enjoy a buffet. At first sight it looked good. 6 buffet stations with a large selection. My husband pointed out the rice cooker lid that obviously had never been cleaned in it's entire existence. There were several things I took one bite of and said, "that's not right. " At the end of the meal my husband went to the restroom and came out throughly disgusted. He said the urinal had brownish green stuff growing in it. Had we gone to the restroom first we would not have eaten there. I actually waited a day to write the review because I expected some nasty repercussions from eating there, but thankfully the worst of it was the brownish green urinal that is forever burnt in my husband's mind.

I'm a truck driver, and have tried Chinese buffet all over the country. I think this is the best. I love there honey chicken, and beef and broccoli. Friendly atmosphere, and helpful employees. I'm usually here once a month if not twice.

    Pink Chicken, Anyone?
    Kaylana B.

I should have been worried when I saw they were selling random Chinese stuff by the front door. But I wanted Chinese food. It was basic Americanized food, nothing was properly labeled. Nothing major... Until my boyfriend pulled a pink piece of chicken out of his mouth. The whole "chicken roll" which was what looked like random bits of chicken rolled in a tortilla and deep fried was pink through out. We showed the waitress who called over the manager/owner who told me the "rest was okay" and he either said that they were gonna put it in the oven/deep fryer for 3 more minutes at 350 and it would be okay OR that they cook their chicken at 350 for 3 minutes. I dunno I couldn't understand a word he said. No apologies for the undercooked chicken or anything. Save yourself the trouble and find the nearest Panda Express. If it was up to me, we would have walked out but my boyfriend didn't want to cause a bigger scene. Also, if you label something as cobbler you better damn well have an actual crust! That was blackberry soup.

Here is the pic of the raw chicken they served.

We went for dinner, and I was eating a fried chicken wing. Well, lets say it was pretty red. I called the server over, she was a waitress or manager. She did say she saw my plate already, and told them in the back to cook them longer, but really did not care. She did not say anything to me when she saw it, just when I called her over. Hopefully I dont get sick.

    Perfectly fine and tasty food

The food was disgusting and the beer was flat. Service was horrible. We will never go back again. Huge waste of money.

Not really impressed with the buffet. Take out might be better with fresher food. This is typical of many Chinese restaraunts though

I know I've posted here before, but it's been a few years so I would like to add a new review…read morebecause you know how restaurants can go down after a few years Be careful looking at the menus that they have uploaded because many of them are wrong. We used to get hot soup here and they don't serve anymore. We used to get sweet-and-sour chicken and they don't serve it there anymore and they'll say they never served it but we've cut the menus and the pictures of it online so just be aware of that. As far as I'm concerned, we haven't gotten anything from there yet. I've tried several different sushi. I love their sushi and if there's something you want on your sushi, you can get it right there when you ask. I've had the hot spicy chicken, which was wonderful. My husband has said two or three different types of other chicken that were all wonderful. YAKI mandu is Great. The service is up and beyond what you'll normally get from some restaurants they're not intrusive, but they're there when you need them. The owner actually goes around to the table, sometimes checking on people if they're not too busy in the back that she has to help and sometimes they can be quite busy. The ambience, the ambience the ambience is wonderful. We walk into a nice clean place and the lights are not quite as bright as you would expect. There's a desk in front of a seating area to the left of you to Fire Mountain so you can get an idea inside. people are smiling and they offer you to be seated and walk in clean floors and the tables are really nice and they can get to a table It'squirt and easygoing. Would I say dare night? If you don't feel like dressing up and just want a nice restaurant to sit down and order a meal, then yes! If you want fancy, dress up, not really. I'm going out on a limb here. If you wanted something Special, I have. Feeling you could call and get it area Ged. I'm sure there would be a charge if it was something they don't do. But its always something to consider Exx: you want to bring a surprise ccHe in with sparklers etc. I'd definitely ask here. That's how sweet I think these people are. The only fsukt I have with them is their menu. I'm going to uokias a new copy soon. Have fun. Edit: I got the Yam Yam sushi. I now have one I can say I don't like. Not their fault but yuck. It said fried cream cheese. The entire roll is friend with a crumb or panko bread crumbs on the outside. Not what I was expecting. My hus and did take out. 2 bites and I was done. Never again. those of you who like fried foods may enjoy it.

Updating this review, to add that we have gone a second time!…read more We've been in Lawton since last November, and we've eaten at maaaany restaurants. Beijing has been our favorite, hands down, thus far. The level of customer service is by far the best I've seen from anywhere in this city. The brother and sister who run this establishment are some of the kindest people, and I'm so happy we found this place. The food has been consistent, and delicious both times we've come. We've tried everything from the ramen, to the sushi, to the entrees, and I can confidently recommend it all. The restaurant is clean and very spacious, with plenty of parking, so bring your friends and family!

It is a little bit on the tired side, but what makes this place a hit is that the food is fresh and made to order . They do a tremendous amount of takeout as it was continual throughout the lunch. While I was there. They have a drive-through option as well. You can hear the chef the owner back in the kitchen preparing each meal when you come it does take a little bit of time. Prepare yourself because everything is freshly made to order when I mean that I don't mean like 40 minutes. I just mean an extra 5 to 7 more minutes because again it's made to order they bring one plate to the table at a time as it comes off the grill or it comes out of the stove. It comes over to the table steaming hot. If you're a soup lover, this is fantastic because your soup is literally right off the stove. I ordered the beef pho which had a delicious broth that had meatballs and steak in it along with green onions. For the side was bean sprouts and jalapeños I would've loved to have had some basil, but they did not have it on this day. The flavor was fabulous and seasoned to perfection. It was a smaller bowl, but it was perfectly balanced with delicious noodles. It was served by the chef herself who was friendly and inviting. Hard-working crew in here on this day, my companion had the chicken fried rice. They commented the chicken was tender and well seasoned just like the kind you would have overseas. The fried rice was fluffy and flavorful. You could see the vegetables and large pieces of egg which sometimes you're very difficult. This rice was not oily and heavy at all difficult to eat with chopsticks so you definitely would need your regular utensils for it because it was very fluffy. This location is near the Altus Air Force Base. There was a steady stream of servicemen coming for pick up and some dining in. This is definitely a fan favorite in this town and I can see why this receives such high reviews. I highly recommend recommended and will return.
