I didn't tell them it was my birthday and I was picking up dinner for a family celebration. I felt horrible for the restaurant and also for the delay in returning home. The restaurant very professionally re-made the order and carried it out to my car. Everyone loved their food. I've long been a fan of the shrimp lo mein and my mom raved about the chicken egg foo young. Usually egg foo young at other restaurants comes smothered in gravy and very greasy, but this egg foo young wasn't greasy at all and the sauce was provided on the side without even asking for a side. Everyone was happy with the food and this isn't an easy group to please.
