Don't buy food here!!!!! Would give zero stars if I could. The crab Rangoon's tasted like they were cooked in week-old oil, the broccoli tasted like pure pesticides, and the lo mein tasted like pure chemicals or something. I wouldn't give this food to my dog! We called to advise them that the food tasted really funky, at which point they told us to bring it back. We literally brought it all the way back and they defended it and didn't give us our money back. Horrible, horrible, horrible business. First time we ate here since the place changed hands and we will never ever eat here again. It used to be good under the old owners. Complete waste of $40 read more

Once again ordered take out Did not want to cook The Mongolian beef was consistently very good three times in a row. That is the key to restaurant quality is the ability to do this. Customer expectations are based on previous experience. I have not tried the majority of the menu but have tried several appetizers and soups all very good. I'd like to be able to get brown five with the food as opposed to white. Food is made on time and convenient to our location. Food is hot and ready to eat when at home! read more

Started doing takeout at China One back in 2002 when there was literally nothing out here, unlike now. Over the years it kind of went downhill and I stopped going for many years. A friend told me recently how she loved the place so we gave it a try and it was very good. Good service, tasty food just like 22 years ago. If you really need some sort of Chinese food fix I guess you can come here but it's mediocre at best and with that I am being kind. The chicken is way over cooked to the point that underneath the breading the chicken is burnt and not chewable. There is so much dough around the sweet and sour chicken it should be called sweet and sour dough. Coming from the land of a Chinese restaurant or two on every corner I do not think I have ever seen yellow rice served as fried rice in a Chinese take out restaurant before. Very unusual and sticky and no flavor. I also receive an un-crisp eggroll, opened it up and could nothing appetizing about it. The grease that came off of the egg roll was incredible. This restaurant goes into the bucket list of oh no we won't go there again buckets. It gets two stars just cause I did not get sick on the miniscule bit of food I ate. read more

First time ordering - I had Chicken Fried Rice. The dish included yellow rice, onions, and some chicken strips. I've had this dish numerous times elsewhere and expected some vegetables - peas, carrots, anything. I guess I should have been suspicious when the prices were low. I'd pay more for a decent meal. China one is the only Chinese place that I know of around, and I wish I ventured out more to see if there was anywhere else. My fiancé and I ordered a large chicken fried rice and a wonton soup. I can say without hesitation that it's the worst chicken fried rice I have ever had before. It was just bland yellow rice, the blandest chicken I've ever had in my entire life and chunks of onion. The rice was certainly not fried and there was no peas, carrots, egg, or flavor () like expected. It's edible, but it was not enjoyable. However, my wonton soup was good and holds up in comparison to other Chinese restaurants. The service was friendly and when we called and asked about the fried rice they offered to remake it. It was also ready quickly. Personally, I would not go back to China One. read more

CHINA ONE is outstanding for the quick fix. The staff are smiling and friendly, and take extra care with all special orders and asks. From the glorious Sweet and Sour Chicken and Pork Wantons with magnificent crunch and taste, to the incredibly sweet and flaky Crab Rangoon. I've eaten across their entire menu, and cannot wait to to restart the journey on my next take-out adventure. During COVID, the folks are especially appreciative of phone orders. They nailed the time down to the minute last night after I called - and the food was hot and perfect when I took it home (not waiting like some places who over-estimate the time). Rave! Rave! Rave! China One is taking the COVID-19 virus seriously! They've installed a take out cubby in one door, with a plexiglass window & plexiglass flap to give you your order. No one is allowed inside. They are still wearing masks inside, even though we are separated and cannot enter. They aren't required to take these extra precautions, they could have 25% capacity inside. This tells me that they take it seriously with the rest of their habits, outside of work. I've been eating here for years. They have NEVER gotten my order wrong. The staff is super friendly. The reason some are saying they are rude is probably because they treated the staff badly. I love the general tso's tofu. This time it was not as hot as I normally get it but I'll give them a break. Only thing I get sad about is when I forget my hot mustard packets. Other than that Fried rice is just ss of peas and carrots but that's normal Chinese fried rice. The egg rolls are pretty good too. read more

Typical Chinese joint. Great bean curd (tofu) for vegetarians and vegans. My favorite is the sesame bean curd and it comes with white rice. I love it so much but be warned it is a dish on the sweeter side. Spring rolls are so tasty! Krab rangoon barely had any filling in a few pieces. Shrimp chow mein fun was good. My family always orders from this place. Call ahead and pickup your order. We ordered upon arrival and waited close to 40 minutes. No one was eating inside but we watched person after person come in and out to pick up their orders from calling in. They have one bathroom and a few tables but I never considered eating here. read more

This is my third visit to china one. I wanted to love it and I do really enjoy the food- especially the delicious fresh fries wontons. But after literally waiting double the time all three visits, I have had enough. The first time the phone eat was 45min. We arrived at the store at about 35min. Almost another 45min later we had food. The next time it was a 25min estimate and a 20 min wait in store. Today it was 30 min estimate and after 30min waiting at home then another 30min here, well, I'm still waiting. I have no idea how long it will take. It wouldn't be so tedious but the restaurant is hot, crowded, uncomfortable and there's nothing to do. No tv, no place to sit, just pretty miserable. Unless I hear that the process has vastly improved, this is my last visit. read more

Our favorites are the General Szo's Chicken and the Mongolian Beef. The orders are enough for the 2 of us to have dinner AND lunch the following day. The actual restaurant is old and dirty on the inside, and it boasts some of the worst fried rice I've ever had.. It isn't even actual fried rice, it's yellow rice. Egg rolls are greasy and just taste like fried lettuce. The actual entrees themselves are okay usually. The only thing that saves this from 2 stars is the beef lo mein, which is surprisingly good.
