My family stopped in briefly after calling in an order on the way home from the beach. We had sweet & sour chicken, beef lo mein, and chicken with mixed vegetables. The sweet & sour chicken was the best of the three and all of our family shared and enjoyed it. I eat alot of chicken with mixed vegetables and wasn't particularly impressed with it, besides they fact that they added long green beans which I don't see often. Since they are under new management, the quality of the food is been less than desirable. Used to be a nice clean restaurant with good food not so much now. Needs to improve . Chicken fried rice was nothing but onions hardly any chicken in it no other vegetables either. Very bland and flavor. The egg drop soup had wontons in it. I ordered egg drop soup. Chinese food is very regional; I'm used to the one I grew up. However this is closest I have found in flavor and consistency. They make it very easy for you to order, get to the place and be out quick. As in most of the places they have very descriptive pictures of most of the plates and entices you to try new things. I have never eaten at the restaurant, because we always order to go, so I can't speak to what it is like to dine here. I picked up some to-go beef and broccoli with fried rice and egg roll with a side finger salad. Overall, pretty good. The beef was tender, the broccoli just a bit over cooked. I prefer it a little crispier. The rice was ok. The egg roll was on point. Nice and crispy, good taste. And the salad was perfect. First I'm not a big fan of Chinese UNTIL I ordered from here. I've had the General Tsao, Szechuan chicken lo mein and the garlic chicken with house lo mein(just learned house lo mein is the combo of shrimp chicken and pork lo mein) and both were truly delicious. The spring rolls are delicious too! The service is excellent. They answer their phones quickly, are very interested in making sure everything is right. And they are so kind!! I do volunteer work near here and have had lunch twice. Both times I ordered General Chow Chicken . Both times they refused the broccoli in the picture. The dish is supposed to be about half chicken and half broccoli. What I got both times was extremely greasy and had no vegetables. It was frozen deep fried pieces of chicken with a flavorless sauce. This place was less than clean -- you take your food from the counter and sit a one of a few tables. I would reccomend McDonald's over this place.. you get what is in the picture. After hanging around Chinatown in both NYC and San Fran I have tasted some decent Chinese food made with fresh ingredients. White I find around here is frozen food deep fried with ultra sweet sauces out of a jar. Guess I will not find decent fresh Chinese food in this area. This is probably one of the best fast food Asian spots I've been to in a long time. They are fast and friendly! The food isn't greasy like others have been. The house fried rice was killer! General Tso's chicken is so good and not heavy on the breading. I asked for a little extra heat, if not, it's not all that spicy. Recommend if you're in Yulee and want a quick Asian meal. Deeeeelicious!!! Szechuan chicken!! I am no fan of Chinese food. I'm more Thai and sushi but I will eat it when I'm outvoted. They are making Chinese on tv and I just kind of had a once in a lifetime craving for it. My husband was shocked and didn't miss his opportunity to have Chinese. We picked up two huge combo meals (he had Gen Tsao) that came w spring rolls and (extremely tasty) fried rice. This was by far the best American-Chinese food I've ever had. They even added extra spice to my Szechuan chicken. Really amazing- and so were the Spring Rolls!! Besides the delicious food we each had full meals and paid only $16!! Excellent find! The things I like about China King is their online ordering system. I love that they have an Tofu and vegetarian menu. The food always taste fresh and never too greasy. Other than that its pretty much a stereotypical American Chinese take out shop. They offer the standard General Tao, Beef and Broccoli and Orange Chicken type cuisine that you can find pretty much any place. This Chinese restaurant is the best in Yulee. I think there are only two Chinese restaurants in Yulee though. I always ask for my food spicy and they put in lots of peppers and such to make it awesome. The only bad experience I had was one of their duck dishes. I love duck, but I couldn't finish eating that meal. I wouldn't recommend that. everything else is great though! read more
