I'm not real big on buffets, especially Chinese. But my husband wanted to go. It was clean. Had a good supply on the tables. Everything from a couple sushies (not a fan) to typical Chinese cuisine and rib eye steak. Wonton soup was out of wontons but soon replenished. It was pretty good. The egg rolls were the best I've had on a Buffett! I had the green beans (loved them), General Tso and black pepper chicken and the cream cheese wontons which I loved. Overall it wasn't too bad. Food was good, I liked the lo mein, honey chicken, and the egg rolls. The sweet tea was good. But the server just made it awkward and ruined the entire experience for me. She stood about 3-4 feet from me the entire time watching me eat. I know she probably thought she was offering great customer service being so close if/when I needed her (which I never did.) The lunch price is $9.75/person as at 9/2021, up from $8.95 earlier this year. They have no hibachi grill, no sushi and no ice cream. Small selection and food is mediocre. I would not pay $12.95 for dinner. The lady servers were quite nice but they would stand there and stare at us while we eat. It was very uncomfortable. The man behind the counter was very rude. Came here on a Thursday and the parking lot was full. So I can on in. There seemed to be enough room for everyone inside. It was not crowded. The food was good. The variety was not bad for a small town buffet. It does not have the variety of the inner city buffet but better than some small town buffets. False advertisement. They say they have live crawfish yet it's only 2 days a week. They should let people know. They also charge you $2 if you have food left over on one plate. The old Golden Corral has never been better! I agree with Nancy, I eat here when ever I'm on Cleveland. Its very good! Food is consistently fresh. servers are friendly. Its seems clean enough. This buffet has fairly decent food. The place is newly remodeled and was clean. The problem is that the food isn't fresh. The flavor is actually good, but when the chicken is hard and dry, it makes it less enjoyable. Staff morale is low at best. Every waitress was seated with sad and longing looks on their faces. My waitress was friendly and attentive while at my table, but not any other time. I've had a number of my friends from town tell me not to try it, but I think if more people ate here, it would improve drastically because they would be pushing fresh food out of the kitchen rather than making the lunch stuff stretch until dinner. I decided to give this place another try after hearing some good things about it. Regret it. I'm 99% sure I found a roach leg in my lo mien and the water, even with lemon, tasted terrible. The rice was dry and the prime rib they claim to serve is just a thicker version of the chewy slop they serve as pepper steak. The only thing I enjoyed was the hibachi chicken, which basically tastes like bourbon chicken from a mall food court and the overly sweet crab rangoon. Aside from the food, the building is disgusting. The window sills have mold in them, the booths are falling apart, the edges of the buffet counters are beat up and the whole place is dusty and smells like moth balls. I'm convinced they have some hiding in the buffet somewhere. I watched as the owners poured water over fish and boiled shrimp to keep it from drying out and one man was even walking the whole place up and down talking loudly on his cell phone. The waitresses usually are sitting off somewhere eating instead of paying attention to your table, and only get up to give you the check. Without ordering drinks (we both got water) our total for a meal at 4:00 pm was $20.83. That's outrageous! They jack the price up from $7.25 for lunch to 9.65 for dinner, all because they offer the previously mentioned sad excuse for steak and crawfish (which my husband did enjoy to be fair) but I will never go here again. Good selection of food. Friendly staff. Looks clean. I had a shrimp and vegetables dish, with fried rice, and sauteed mushrooms, grilled steak portions with sauteed onions. Most of what I tried was very good and well seasoned. One of the steak portions was tender and very good. The other 2, I had were more like leather. Which happens when steak is cooked too long or a bad cut of meat. Hence the 4 star rating. The place is old, its in a small town, and in the present economy, I think they are doing a great job to provide the quality & quantity of food they do. And this is done along with a wide variety of selection, not to mention friendly service at a reasonable rate. I plan to come back and sample more. I pass through town on my way to Huston every month or 2. I'm looking forward to my next visit.;-) read more

The absolute worst experience ever. Will never go again and wish I could express the humiliation witnessed by the whole place towards a elderly woman today by the cashier. The elderly lady that came in to pick her take out, very soft spoken and kind expressed that her order was not right. The cashier not only screamed at the elderly lady, she also went around to customers cramming the entrée in front of them saying, "isn't this chicken!". The continued to make a show of degrading the customer even after the nice lady said she would take it if it was much trouble. Asked for the owners number for numerous customers to complain and she said, " I am the owner, a lot of good it will do you!" I worked 21 yrs in the restaurant business and NEVER acted or witness anything as disgraceful as this employee. The food was ok and the staff were somewhat friendly, but the lady who was attending our table didn't do a very good job. Our drinks were not refilled and our empty plates were not removed until we were leaving. My husband said that he felt I'll directly after eating his meal. I had not eaten here since shortly after it opened. I wasn't much of a fan at that time. There wasn't much chinese food and you could tell the hot and sour soup was out of a can, About a year ago, I went there with a friend and it was "okay", at least edible. I took my son there earlier this week and would have loved it if the food had EVEN been edible. I found two hairs in the fried rice (that looked like they were from the nether region of the body) and the grilled chicken wings were raw. I don't mean they had some red near the bone, I don't mean they had a pink tint to them I mean that were RAW! I took a bite and spit it out because it had a weird texture. I left it on the plate and over the next 10 minutes or so, it turned raw pink! I showed the employees and they didn't look very surprised and STILL charged us $23 for two buffets. Not worth the money, not worth the chance of dying from e-coli. OH and I love sushi, but their "sushi" looked like it had been out since yesterday so thankfully, I passed. I wish now I had taken a picutre of the raw chicken. This place needs to shut down. read more

When this place first opened up, it was pretty decent. Our last visit was horrible. We went in the evening time, so the buffet was around $10.00 a person. The food was really dry and hard. Like it had been sitting on the buffet for a long time. My kids took a bite of their food and said it hurt their teeth due to it being so hard. I had to ask the waitress for some fresh chicken and shrimp. The egg rolls are nothing but cabbage. The spring rolls were very stale. The boiled shrimp, don't eat!!!! There was yellow spots on them and it didn't smell right? The green beans was cold and hard. Plus, the waitress took my cup and the gentlemans cup at the next table, to the back of the room to refill them, how do I know that she didn't get the cups mixed up? Neither one of us had a straw or lemon to identify them? You don't refill separate tables cups and the same time. For $10.00 a plate I would rather go further to get better. read more
