Went here on 12/17 around 1300 for lunch and was again not disappointed. The service is always friendly, they refill your drinks for you, it's a buffet style, chinese mixed with American and salad bar, all of which are very good and very price savvy, good if you're looking to not spend a lot but get plenty of food for your buck as long as you eat in, I have no experience on the takeout part but the food quality would still be the same as you retrieve it from the same buffet. The only place in Corsicana, or really Navarro County, where you can find tofu is at this restaurant. That's what keeps us going back because otherwise it's just another Americanized Chinese buffet and, as vegans, there's not much we can eat there. It's clean inside and the waitstaff has always been friendly. The woman who runs the register however is very grumpy, she rushes past you saying yes! yes! and looking totally irritated especially if you have questions or try to talk to her. The Asian lady at the front desk is extremely rude, hateful, and seems a very, very unhappy for no reason whatsoever. She is apparently the owner so nothing can be done. I'm standing in here as I'm writing this. Every time I have come there has been some sort of incident with her, but today's incident...I walked in attempted to order my food. She tried to hand me a styrofoam container, I let her know I was going to order something from the menu to go (like I've done every few months for the past 7 years mind you) she then proceeded to ignore me and wait on the three people behind me (one person getting a couple gift cards which is a bit time consuming) before even taking my order. The one item from the menu that I order is pretty good, (shrimp fried rice with no vegetable, two eggs) so I come back from time when I'm craving it, but if there was another option here in Corsicana for shrimp fried rice, I would never come here again. She's also distracted very easily and is always looking around at other stuff when you're talking to her so make sure she hears you very clearly because if she writes the order down incorrectly and they cook it, she will try to refuse to fix it and insist that she heard you correctly and you fucked up, not her. Last thing, the price is never the same. I can come one day and it's $9.75 and I can come the next day and it's $10.90. I don't think I have paid the same price for the exact same order once.. read more

Terrible service. The food was over cooked and the prices are often changed with the decision of an older Asian lady that is incredibly rude for no reason. Also if you have children she will try and charge them as an adult for the buffet. This place could be better but the customer service is really low quality. I don't ever have the means to be awful to anyone but that little old Asian hag really made me have to tell her to stick it where the sun don't shine but I didn't!. I just educated her on how customers should be treated and that she probably should be moved to the back and they'd make more money. We went here looking for a new Chinese experience. Did not realize it was a buffet until we went inside. Staff was friendly and quick. The buffet was smaller than most but the broccoli beef, crab rangoons, and the pot stickers were delicious. The fried rice lacked frying, but looked fresh and decent. Pretty much eat here every time I go to Corsicana, and between how much my dad and I consume, we're surprised they're still in business :-) Whenever he walks in, they have his Pepsi and table already ready for him. Always start off with a huge plate of boiled shrimp w/cocktail sauce on the side. There's always plenty of it and they're huge. Then I move on to Hot and Sour Soup and other various buffet items. (The Hot and Sour Soup is slightly above average.) They have good Lo Mein and potstickers (I could DRINK that teriyaki sauce), as well as chicken-on-a-stick, sesame chicken and beef and broccoli. One time they had crab legs, which was awesome, but only saw it that one time. Overall, not a unique Chinese buffet restaurant, but everything is consistently tasty. Went there the first time to night me and my husband got takeout and we filled three Togo boxes to the top and only paid sixteen dollars it fed our family of five. It tasted good to not a lot of selection but the food was good and fresh. We will be back. read more

What in the world has happened to this place?? It was once a nice little restaraunt with a hot, fresh buffet. Gone are those days. Sadly, my family and I came from out of town to join extended family for a birthday lunch for one of my daughters. This place was her choice and was a complete and utter disappointment! The food was so very dry one of the kids in our group actually choked and threw up. Four adults ate less than one whole plate of food each and the kids ended up eating 2 small slices of pizza after it finally came out--we had been there about 15 minutes before the empty pizza and fries pans were replaced. I voiced my dissatisfaction to the server the one time she came to our table. I expected a manager to come address the situation but this never happened. After I pushed my plate aside, unable to eat anymore of such old, dried out food, I decided to try some fresh fruit. As I picked up a "clean" plate, I felt something hanging on to it-it was another plate, clinging to it by a piece of chewing gum. So much for the fresh fruit. Appetite ruined, we went to the register. There, the manager dismissed our complaints and even laughed at the fact that a child in our group choked and ultimately vomited, because of the toughness of the small bite of chicken he attempted to eat. This was an unbelievably disappointing dining experience, made worse by the manager's lack of concern and unprofessionalism. Will we ever be back?
