Not necessarily the best, but something about them makes it your favorite. The pho is pretty standard and yummy. It's just nice having a pho option in Selma, period. Portions for everything are really generous, especially for the price. The boba drinks are great too! Thai tea boba being my favorite. Over all, it's a cute & local place that's been around for what feels like forever. The staff is ALWAYS super friendly and wonderful. I don't know how to explain it, but what it lacks in flavor sometimes, it makes up hitting a certain "spot" with your taste buds. (By far weirdest and most complicated review I've done - sorry!)

My drink came out fairly quickly and was able to enjoy it while waiting for my food order. It wasn't busy today so was able to sit and wait at a table inside. This is starting to be my favorite place to get Thai Tea. Creamy, milky and not overly sweet. I also like that they have crushed ice. Crispy pork belly was also really good. The portion is enough for two meals. The crispy port pairs with the warm sticky rice and citrusy light dipping sauce always hits. Only wished there was an option for a spicy sauce.

We ordered a few things: boat noodles, khao poon, khao piak sen, nam khao, baked eggs, lo mein with orange chicken and saikoo balls. I've been craving boat noodles, so I was really excited for these, but unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. The broth was NOT it for me . The blood broth was so overpowering that it had a bitter taste. My niece ordered the chicken khao poon, but it tasted more like fish to her . The khao piak sen broth was really good, but the noodles were way too chunky and soft for my liking. They were so soft they basically melted in your mouth perfect for babies! The Nam khao was good and crispy, but they were definitely a little stingy with the nam! The baked eggs were also a big hit. The sauce that came with them was SO good and paired perfectly with the eggs. Saving the best for last... the SAIKOO! These were cooked perfectly. The tapioca was super soft, and the filling was delicious! Definitely my favorite thing we ordered. I'd probably come back and get the Saikoo next time I'm in town!

Sun China has consistently served good meals to my family for over a decade now. We've ordered…read moredine-in and take-out, and have enjoyed our food, which has primarily been: chicken salad, chow mein, and rice. We've ordered other menu items, such as sesame chicken and egg foo young and we've liked those as well. While there's nothing wrong with dining in, I've personally preferred picking up food for take-out. Part of the reason for this is that the restaurant can get a bit cramped during peak times and there can be a lot happening with ordering, bussing tables, and whatnot. However, dining in during non-peak times has been delightful. I recommend eating at/ordering food from Sun China! I'm glad to eat here when visiting home, and am happy to experience a consistent level of quality when it comes to the food and service.

Upon opening the box this time, I discovered that the portion size was comparable to a children's meal, despite having paid for a full-sized meal. The staff's behavior was extremely rude. I am uncertain about the reasons behind this change. The staff used to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. For instance, consider the images I recently uploaded of the chow mein. It appears to be insufficient for an adult including the rest of the portions. When I asked for a little more orange chicken the employee gave me a look and added 2 more chunks. Never coming back here again. I rate this location 2 thumbs down
