Stopped by for lunch today. It's a dump. They still operate the restaurant as if covid is active, big plastic barrier and a box to transfer food and credit card to pay. I ordered sesame chicken and it was beyond bad. The chicken was covered with a watery, sweet sauce that was definitely not traditional sauce. All my chicken was floating in this bath of nasty tepid sauce. Watery, red and just nasty. I ate 2 pieces of chicken and tasted the rice. The rice was edible but I couldn t get past the mess of chicken. I at least ate some of my soup, I threw the entire meal away, without eating. For Chinese takeout, it is hard to beat China King. Their egg rolls are crispy and not too oily. Our staples are beef broccoli, wonton ton soup, and hot and sour soup (some of the best I've found). They are always friendly and fast. There are a few booths inside, if you want to eat there, but we usually just grab it and go. read more

We came here for dinner on a Monday night because the place we wanted to go was closed so we were looking for somewhere to go in the area. I honestly wasn't expecting much when we walked in. You go to the counter to order and there are pictures of the food so right away I thought this is mall Chinese food. Boy was I wrong! Everything we ordered was cooked fresh and brought out to us hot. We tried fried rice, peppered chicken, lo mein. It was all great! It was a little odd that we ate in and still were served in to go containers but it was easy to take our leftovers home. Amazing service and great food! While I was inside these two deranged women walked in causing problems threatening to call the cops but the lady behind the counter handled them extremely well. Really had no intention of coming in here for dinner, but when the place we were going (Monday night) was closed we opted for these guys. As we walked up it totally has the hole in the wall vibe and we questioned if we were going to be able to eat our food at the restaurant. They did have a couple tables and we were hungry so we went for it. The pictures on the wall showed off some of the dishes/specialties and we were getting our hopes up (I know....did the pictures accurately depict the food this time?), We ordered a low mein w/chicken, chicken fried rice, and peppered chicken as well as a spring roll. Out first was the spring rolls. I'm not gonna lie about this we were a little puzzled as the looked like a fried donut. ~ Side Bar ~ This is when we realized they really aren't set up for people dining in as they brought out the app on a Styrofoam plate and a coupe napkins for us to put our food on ~~ Well we are here...let's do this! We each tried one and were totally blown away! They tasted so good and so fresh and were simply awesome! As we ate we noticed several people come in to place and/or pick up to go orders (notice I said to go orders). Next out was the rest of our food, already in to go containers. They kind of were hoping we would just pass the to go containers around and just share that way. We asked for plates and they were happy to get them for us. The lo mein was typical of any lo mein (I say that because that isn't my typical go to at Chinese). The Chicken fried rice was some of the best fried rice I've ever had. Great flavor and really didn't even need soy sauce (I love soy sauce on my friend rice). The highlight for me had to be the peppered chicken. Wow! This was one of the freshest meals I've every had at a Chinese restaurant. The veggies were still just a hint of crisp, the pepper was used to apply just the right amount of pepper heat, and the chicken tasted awesome. I would totally be for coming back to this place. This little hole in the wall packs a punch and was very much a pleasant surprise. They have some lunch specials that look really good and I want to go back to try soon. Do yourself a favor and come by here. BYOU (Bring your own utensils) as they give you the tiny sized forks and spoons...outside of that hard to beat quality, friendly staff and price. The only thing I've ever had here is the sesame tofu. It's to die for. Absolutely incredible. And I'm not a vegetarian or vegan either. I prefer it to any sesame chicken. Bonus points for all the gorgeous plants in there. read more

The staff at China king don't cook egg rolls right. Sometimes they don't change the grease out as they should. For example I was waiting on my food when I smelled the egg rolls burning so please do your job correctly and cook the food right. read more

The chicken teriyaki sticks are more fried than a typical teriyaki stick at other restaurants but were still pretty good. The rice was a little bland but overall a pretty good meal for what we paid.
