Beef in Dry Pot but served in plastic even though eating in restaurant.

Okay, let's start with they got a zero tip. I rarely, hardly ever, don't tip. But... when I walked in I said I wanted to use the bathroom before I ordered. She didn't approve. I came out, and sat at a table since I told her I was eating in. She left me waiting at the table for quite some time, and then informed me I had to order at the counter even though they were open for dine in. So I came up, and ordered at the counter, and headed back to the table to sit down but was further informed I had to pay immediately. Look, the food was okay. But the service, and attitude was pretty much one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Also, it cost $15.50 plus tax. So I do not recommend them. I would have given them a one star, but the food was okay. So I'm giving them two stars. Either get carry-out or don't eat here. Metro Diner is right next door to this restaurant, and I highly recommend them. Excellent service, and excellent food! Go there instead.

Horrible. I order steamed veggies cause I'm a vegetarian and received steamed veggies with shrimp in it. I can't just pick out the shrimp because all the veggies are covered in shrimp residue. Extremely disappointed and won't be eating here again. Also when I called to discuss with the restaurant, they were extremely rude - like you messed up my order, why are you being rude to me.

Hot sour soup delivered. Deep rich comfort.

Staying at Marriott Birmingham on business. Didn't want the token Marriott room service so I ordered on DoorDash. Ordered DoorDash. I had dinner to my room in record 20 mins. Faster than hotel rm service I bet. They call this Wok n Roll Door Dashing on Sunday nite!! Very impressed actually! This is a great option, for the price. I order a lot on the road. Weekly travel from coast to coast. 3/5 hot sour soup. Dark, spicy enough and great for $2.50. 5/5 Szechwan trio- not spicy enough but they sent extra sambal. This was a generous-portion of tender beef, chicken and shrimp. Tons of veggies. Everything super fresh. Still so hot when it got here I had to let it cool off. Hit the spot! 4/5 very cool that they allow you to order side of lowmein instead of rice. Slight up-charge but really a nice option. Noodles were a little thicker than I like but lots of veggies in it too. 5/5 they included the very american (invented in San Fran for all u food geeks) fortune cookie. I never get one since wife steals them before I get to them. Ready for the odd....no fortune!!! I popped in my mouth chuckling and end of chewing I have a small wad of paper stuck in my teeth. Lol. A small wad of paper stuck in one corner I didn't see when I cracked in half. Not restaurant fault! Still laughing. So I'm fortunate-less and have 3 large presentations this week. Oh oh...... All in all it was really great. Better than overpriced hotel food. Dinner under $25 and still less than the rm service burger! You guys Wok n Roll!! I'll reorder when back. Cheers.

I decided to go with something a little less taxing to eat tonight, so I stopped into Wok-N-Roll. Very small atmosphere seating maybe 16-20 guest. My advice don't take a large party. Takeout maybe your best bet. I had Crab Ragoon, which I think were very tasty. The red sauce located on the table is delicious and pairs well the appetizer. For the main course I had chicken and vegetables with white rice. There is an additional charge for fried rice and no option for brown rice which I think is a downfall. The vegetables were crisp but the chicken (although cut thin) was rubbery. Needless to say I just ate the vegetables. The service was ok. I think the lady was working solo. Processing to go orders, working the kitchen and serving guest who decided to eat in, is taxing on any individual. Overall not bad. A little pricey for dinner but after reading the menu it seems the best deal is going on your lunch hour where an egg roll, soup and a meal are included for about $7 bucks!

100 inspection report!! A rare find!!

I ordered Honey Chicken and House special fried rice. The order came out quickly, but was piping hot! That alone deserves 5 stars. The Honey Chicken was absolutely delicious. Not overly sweet with just the right amount of sauce. Probably some of the best sticky rice I've had was served with the Honey Chicken. The House special fried rice was yummy with an adequate amount of shrimp, beef, and chicken. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Best of all, they have a 100 on their inspection report! I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Reasonable prices for a standard Chinese place menu. I frequently go there and their sesame chicken is my go-to.

This is one of our go to spots for Chinese food. It's always delicious and ready quickly. The hot and sour soup is one of our favorites.

The restaurant itself is also fairly large with a lot of seating a few TVs and a nice dark-wall ambience. In the past, I've had Gen. Tso's chicken with fried rice, which I highly recommend, but today I wanted to do something different so I went with Kung pow chicken, which ads nice fresh vegetables and peanuts to a spicy chicken mix. It's a bit less sweet than General Tso's. I also had egg drop soup which was pleasant and mild as an appetizer. I might want a bit more rice delivered with my meal, my friend today asked for a second rice serving with his dish, and mine was a little short on the very pleasant fried rice. We had terrific service from our waitress, she was helpful and attentive and friendly. After your meal explore the grocery store. There are a lot of unique food opportunities in the cavernous grocery store, and, believe it or not, there's a ping pong tournament space in the back. A fun and fascinating visit.

My moo goo gai pan had barely any chicken in it. There were huge chunks of vegetables and it was way too starchy. It was like they were trying to compensate for the lack of protein in it. I haven't ordered from them this year, but I did tonight. Listen the economy is rough for everyone but I paid $15 for this chicken and they used maybe 1/8 of a chicken breast in it. Not cool. Hate to leave the negative review, but I need to warn people that they're using filler food to complete the orders and charging more. What's not cool anywhere these days is paying more and getting way less than just a few years ago. All of us are working hard to earn money and it just feels so disappointing to not get what you pay for, especially when you're paying more than you used to. I don't know who to blame for this. If I wanted a carton of vegetables I would have eaten a frozen bag for $2.50 tonight.
