Okay, let's start with they got a zero tip. I rarely, hardly ever, don't tip. But... when I walked in I said I wanted to use the bathroom before I ordered. She didn't approve. I came out, and sat at a table since I told her I was eating in. She left me waiting at the table for quite some time, and then informed me I had to order at the counter even though they were open for dine in. So I came up, and ordered at the counter, and headed back to the table to sit down but was further informed I had to pay immediately. Look, the food was okay. But the service, and attitude was pretty much one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Also, it cost $15.50 plus tax. So I do not recommend them. I would have given them a one star, but the food was okay. So I'm giving them two stars. Either get carry-out or don't eat here. American-style Chinese in a casual setting. The menu is pretty much what you'd expect at a strip mall Asian restaurant. While you can dine in, everything is served in disposable packages. I went with Kung Pao Chicken extra, extra spicy which is my favorite American Chinese dish. It was okay. Nothing great or special, just okay. It was served with an egg roll that was cold in the middle and hot and sour soup. Across the board, everything needed seasoning. The soup desperately needed salt and the extra spicy Kung Pao had very little heat. It's better than Panda Express but the much better option in the area is Ming's. read more

Weekly travel from coast to coast. 3/5 hot sour soup. Dark, spicy enough and great for $2.50. 5/5 Szechwan trio- not spicy enough but they sent extra sambal. This was a generous-portion of tender beef, chicken and shrimp. Tons of veggies. Everything super fresh. Still so hot when it got here I had to let it cool off. Hit the spot! 4/5 very cool that they allow you to order side of lowmein instead of rice. Slight up-charge but really a nice option. Noodles were a little thicker than I like but lots of veggies in it too. 5/5 they included the very american (invented in San Fran for all u food geeks) fortune cookie. I decided to go with something a little less taxing to eat tonight, so I stopped into Wok-N-Roll. Very small atmosphere seating maybe 16-20 guest. My advice don't take a large party. Takeout maybe your best bet. I had Crab Ragoon, which I think were very tasty. The red sauce located on the table is delicious and pairs well the appetizer. For the main course I had chicken and vegetables with white rice. There is an additional charge for fried rice and no option for brown rice which I think is a downfall. The vegetables were crisp but the chicken (although cut thin) was rubbery. Needless to say I just ate the vegetables. The service was ok. I think the lady was working solo. Processing to go orders, working the kitchen and serving guest who decided to eat in, is taxing on any individual. Overall not bad. A little pricey for dinner but after reading the menu it seems the best deal is going on your lunch hour where an egg roll, soup and a meal are included for about $7 bucks! read more

I ordered Honey Chicken and House special fried rice. The order came out quickly, but was piping hot! That alone deserves 5 stars. The Honey Chicken was absolutely delicious. Not overly sweet with just the right amount of sauce. Probably some of the best sticky rice I've had was served with the Honey Chicken. I would not recommend eating here. I'm a very grateful person and I hate to complain about food, but this place was far beyond disappointing. My elderly MIL had a doctor's appointment nearby and I needed to grab some lunch to go because she was feeling weak and wanted to eat at home. I ordered two lunch specials: Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken. Both specials came with egg drop soup and an egg roll. The soup was greasy and basically was a container of oil. Completely and utterly inedible. The shrimp had so much breading that you barely tasted the tiny shrimp inside. The fried rice made my MIL sick. Just so incredibly disappointing to have this experience after a stressful doctor's appointment. Additionally, the hostess was not an effective communicator and was unable to answer my questions. I have been back twice now. What i really like about this place is the lady behind the counter is very aware of who is in her establishment. She always checks in on the guests, asks if they need anything and makes you feel comfortable there. The place is like any small Chinese place you might visit for lunch but the service is definitely inviting. The food is also great, only gave it 3 stars as I have not made my through the entire range of food items. What i have had, is the Shrimp fried Rice and the Beef Lo Mein, but were wonderful. My fiance and I dined here on Christmas evening around 8:30 PM since typically Chinese is the way to go on a holiday night such as this one. The space is very small which is usually indicative of a tasty Chinese restaurant. When we walked in, the place was a wreck. There were dirty plates, silverware, cups, food, on literally every table. This was very disheartening and I didn't want to order simply based on what I saw. I'm not sure what the excuse was, maybe it was due to Christmas or may they were just being lazy. Either way, not something you want your customers to see as soon as they walk in. We still decided to order take out. There were a couple of people in line in front of us also ordering take out. Dinner for two was very inexpensive. We ordered General Tso's chicken, shrimp lo mien, and a quart size of hot and sour soup for a total of around $24. Not bad. The saving grace for this review and the reason I'm giving them a 3-star (could have gone lower due to the messiness) is due to the food. It was very good and I was shocked because I did not have high expectations! The General Tso's chicken was tasty. All of our food was fresh and hot which makes me believe they made it just for us and it wasn't just sitting in the back waiting for anyone. We love hot and sour soup and definitely have our favorites, so I would give this soup a 6/10 on the scale. It was good, but not my favorite. I ordered two different dishes, beef and broccoli and Kung pow beef. Both were almost tasteless. And the broccoli was barely cooked. They messed up my order the first time and gave me egg drop soup, which I'm not a fan of already but I couldn't eat more than a few spoonfuls. This time, I got what I ordered, the sweet and sour soup. Again, bland. I'm seeing a theme here. I had to add quite a bit of Salt to even start tasting the soup. The only saving grace, and the reason I decided to give it one more shot, was just how clean and well kept the place is, it's pretty stylish. That being said, I will not be returning. I like to taste my food. I'd recommend New China, next to the Walmart on 280. They have the same prices and great food. I've never had a bad experience in the 6+ years I've eaten there. read more

We have gotten take out from here before and enjoyed it, but tonight was not the case! My wife called in a take out, as we have done in the past, but what she brought home was not good at all. In fact the two chicken dishes had a very funky taste to them! We actually bagged up the order and returned it for a refund. We did tell them we wanted to pay for the egg rolls as we did eat those (and we did pay). The younger man at the register got pretty flippant with us as if he did not care. Very disappointed in this place. Have ordered delivery via DoorDash twice now and every time something is missing. The last time several items were missing.
