I've driven this place many many times over the years and finally stopped in for carry-out for lunch on a weekday. The inside looked clean and they actually had a decent amount of business going on. They have the typical American-Chinese menu. I ordered some really basic, American fare - Chicken & Broccoli (spicy), Chicken Lo Mein (spicy), and Egg Drop Soup. Normally when I order Chinese food made "spicy" it's not very spicy, but the spicy food here was pretty darn hot and packed with flavor too! The soup had a nice flavor to it also, except they forgot my fried noodles to go in it. Overall, the food was made with good, fresh ingredients and the flavors were pretty good, for "American food." My mother repeatedly told her we don't eat pork, she told my mom the wonton soup wasn't pork it was chicken. Yall tell me what kind of chicken meat this is please? Pretty good. Their Covid barriers are finally down and this hard working family pumps out the goods, really fast. Some of the dishes are so so, but most are very good. This family has been running this local Chinese restaurant in South Stafford for many years and the food is always VERY good! I ordered chow mein from this place and it didn't come with any noodles. only a lot of onions, celery, and chicken. i called to tell them i didn't get the full chow mein meal because they forgot the noodles and they tried telling me that chow mein doesn't come with noodles. chow mein is literally made from stir-fried noodles and vegetables. "mein" quite literally means noodles. they could have just owned up to their mistake and corrected it. i don't appreciate being gaslit so i wont be ordering from this place again. read more

Got delivery finally. Amazing. Got spring rolls, hot and sour soup, and beef and broccoli. The beef was SO GOOD. Best I've had from any Chinese place. China King off 17 by Giant is an average place with average-to-good food that comes hot and usually pretty quickly. If you are looking for a sit-down place, this isn't it...they have a few tables but it's just for convenience, not atmosphere. It's often noisy in the store, with kids there doing school work or playing. For this reason, we usually get delivery. Delivery is pretty reliable, and they get a 4th star because they are willing to make fresh food and deliver it right up until they close - you aren't going to get push back if you call at 10:15 pm and ask for delivery. I typically order the sweet and sour chicken. Good, with your usual radioactive orange sauce...once in a while you get pieces with more breading than chicken, or a piece with no chicken at all in the middle. My family likes the orange chicken and barbecue pork spare ribs. For some reason, "chinese" food places on the east coast don't serve what I'm used to as "barbecue pork" appetizer: pieces of sliced pork roughly the size of a ritz cracker with hot mustard, ketchup and sesame seeds for dipping. Little pieces of heaven, every time I go home to Seattle my first stop is for chinese food just for those yummy pork pieces. You can't beat this place for a good quick lunch. Lunch portion size is huge and tasty. Lunch comes with rice and egg roll for $6. The owner is friendly and place is clean. It's just a chinese joint in a strip mall so its nothing special... but while I can't say anything bad about the food, they burn incense at the door and while waiting for food the smell gets in your clothes and hair. ~ read more

Well the food was made quickly. I ordered by phone and rushed in to pick it up- it was hot and ready! As for the taste, I'm not so impressed. The beef in my fried rice was salty and extremely chewy & flavorless. Rice had great consistency, however lacked flavor. For instance, I like to taste the herbs and spices- not just salt. The prices have gone up- no longer same prices as their yelp menu shows. Too far up considering the quality of food. Lets just say I'll look around before going back. Yesterday I returned my shrimp dishes because of the intense oder of bleach coming from the meals. I drove all the way back to the restaurant, and the female proprietor was extremely unprofessional. She was just rude; unapologetic, and clearly thinking I drove all the way back to get a refund for my meal because I enjoyed adding another hour on to my evening chores-and returning food only to go home and thaw out hot dogs is crazy fun. I can't tolerate spoiled seafood, so this place is ruined for me regardless, but this poor woman's constant hatefulness sealed the deal. I just left China King and I wanted to leave a nice review because when I got home, everything was perfectly prepared and tastes amazing! I got there late (about 10:15) and they close at 10:30. I felt bad but they said it was fine. So I ordered, and as I was waiting I realized I forgot something so I asked if it was too late to add to my order and the woman said it was no problem! I really appreciated that they took my order so close to closing and when I got home I was pleasantly surprised! The Wonton soup is so good! Been ordering from China King for years. Yesterday our order was sooooo bad that we could not finish it. Chicken fried rice was so bland with no veggies and we could not put enough soy sauce to make it any better. I called them and asked if they had a new cook or something and did not get an answer. But this time the food was cold and the delivery was horrible! He drove across our lawn right in front of my husband effectively tearing it up. When he called to complain he was told our circle driveway was difficult to navigate. So don't order delivery if you have a circle drive or a lawn, their driver finds it confusing. read more
