This is a solid "hole in the wall" eatery (the best in my book). We ordered the Peruvian Wonton soup. My wife said she ate fast so she wouldn't have to share. My hot and sour soup was phenomenal, although I let her taste it. Next, arroz chaufa especial and General Tso's lunch special with egg roll and pork fried rice. TSO good, OMG, the sauce on those crispy chicken chunks!! Amazing. The rice test was ON! Same pork fried rice, same wonderful flavor! The especial had perfectly cooked medium size shrimp and chicken to add to the flavor. Noemi, the server, took great care of us rounding up what we consider "a treasure". I called them on a Sunday night at 6:50 PM. Placed a large order to be delivered. Was supposed to be delivered within 45 minutes. I checked the tracking on it one hour later and it was not showing that it left the store. When I called, they were getting ready to close and the driver had not shown up. They would stay late and wait for the driver, but I pointed out that my food have been sitting there for at least 45 minutes and I no longer wanted it because it would be cold. After talking with several people who wanted to wait on the driver I finally got the order canceled. They could've called me to let me know that there was a delay. This is MY favorite Chinese spot in Orlando. My boyfriend introduced me to this spot when I first moved here from NJ- I was impressed right away. I've tried a few things off the menu; chicken wings, pork fried rice, French fries, egg rolls, and ribs. Every single item is great. As a native Peruvian I do enjoy this place. Their chifa is pretty delicious, especially their Kam Lu Wantan, and their fried rice is very flavorful as well. Only downside for me is the food is a bit greasy... the duck was greasier than expected but not bad. The portions are pretty large! So I think you really get your money's worth. My husband got food poisoning, immediately after we left he felt nauseous. He ate Mongolian beef. We got to the hotel about two miles away and he was throwing up. His belly was hurting really bad. This guy never gets sick and I known him for thirty years. I had chicken fried rice and the chicken was hard to chew. My son had sesame chicken and could not eat it. Tasted not right. This place is pretty good. In my opinion the Peruvian food is better than the Chinese. We came here last night for dinner with my Peruvian in-laws. Sorry I didn't post any other pictures aside from my main dish which was a General Tso Chicken combination platter, it comes with pork fried rice and a pork egg roll for $12.95. Two people can definitely eat out of that plate in my opinion. This particular dish I would rate it a 5 out of 10, it just didn't taste like what I'm used to. The sauce was kind of watering. Generally, it would be a thick, gooey consistency and the chicken really didn't have flavor. It seemed like it was dropped in oil to fry with no seasoning. The fried rice made up it was pretty good and so was the egg roll, However the Peruvian dishes we good according to my family. I'm allergic to seafood so I couldn't try any of their dishes. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. I have been there before and I tried the steak lo mein as well as the Peruvian fried rice. It's been so long since I've had some delicious "Peruvian Chifa". The last time I found some was on a trip to San Francisco. So I was so excited to find this place in Orlando. The food was very good. This place is so low key and its own description is so uncertain that we truly didn't believe we were going to a Peruvian Chinese restaurant, aka "Chifa" until we saw the signs on the door on arrival. The interior is pretty modest, and there are only 6 - 8 tables. Menus are a single page of options, but enough to cover the basics of a Chifa. Wonton soup 3/5: light and yummy. 2 stars are docked for authenticity and texture. Authenticity based on the lack of traditional noodles; this soup uses regular spaghetti noodles, diminishing the experience. But it's truly the lackluster broth, that lacked the thick, oily texture released by the chicken with patient boiling that was the biggest disappointment. Lomo saltado: 3/5 while the flavor was on point, the meat was subpar, not sure whether it wasn't the right cut or something else, but it didn't add to the dish. Taipa 4/5: generous size, tasty combo! If you pick this, make sure you bring someone to share it with :) Fried rice of pork 5/5: right pork meat (you know the kind, the same red skinned medallions you get on ramen?), the right flavor, even the right soy sauce that gives the rice that darker hue popular in Peruvian cuisine, unlike the soy sauce popular in the States that only adds a pale tone to the rice. Fried wonton with sweet tamarind sauce: 5/5. Enough said. If you have a sweet tooth, this side is the perfect complement to the fried rice above. You can order 6 or 12 wontons. From their "Lomo saltado" to their "Arroz chaufa" or their "Orange chicken", everything that I have tried, I have loved! not only their food is good but each of their servers is always lovely. Finally found Chinese food that taste's similar to what we have up north. We just moved to Orlando and have been trying various spots, but nothing was quite as good as what they have in New York or Connecticut. This place comes pretty close. Since i moved to the states i have never found a fried rice like the peruvian chaufa! Call me crazy but I find it to have a different flavor that your average fried rice. My family and I do frequent Chinese food shops and have explored them throughout Orlando. I do dislike having to rate this one star, but I must. My brother and I stepped in today for the first time and sat in the back. I ordered the Orange chicken with a side of steamed dumplings, my brother, in turn, ordered vegetable lomein with a side of crab rangoons. I returned the steamed dumplings to the kind waitress, as they had little to no taste, biting into it you taste for a brief second sweetness in the meat which was quite strange, followed by a bland taste. The Orange chicken was packed full of so much oil and that's all I could taste there for, I was unable to finish my meal. My brothers Lomein was bland, mushy and tasteless. The waitress did acknowledge that we did not enjoy the food and said that she was sorry. We did end up paying for the full meal as no one would address this. This for me is the first time I have ever entered an establishment such as this where the owner or chef would not come out to address this as well to make it up to the customer. I would not return here and could not justify paying over 28.00 for food that is packed full of oil with no taste and zero enjoyment. Would not return again. read more

One word.... Chifaaaaaaa!!!! After hearing my parents talking about how magnificent Chifa is, I decided to give it a try and take them to have some with me. Chifa is the Peruvian version of Chinesse food, so I knew this was gonna be tha bomb The place itself is small and looks very much like a traditional Chinese restaurant, but their power comes in the form of their food and their service! As soon as we walked in we were received with smiles and were promptly seated. My mom immediately ordered their House Wanton soup and some Inka Cola. 10 mins later our big family plate of soup arrived at our table (ohhh just to think about it my mouth waters!!) and we digged in. The plate itself looked like heaven, because it was piled with wontons, pork, beef, shrimp and herbs. The best part of all is that it tasted even better than what it looked like! This was really the BEST soup I've had in my life, so not only did I eat one plate, but 3 of them! Soon after, a big family sized plate of their special lo mein arrived to our table. This plate was huge and pretty! A bed if noodles was on the bottom and you could see the shrimp, chicken, pork and beef hanging out all over the plate. This dish was really good, but to me it tasted more like a regular lo mein. i couldn't really find the Peruvian kick to it, but it was delish nevertheless. This place is absolutely delicious! Don't let the appearance from the outside fool you. The food is fresh, very tasty, and extremely affordable. We asked for our food to be made "Peruvian chaufa style" and it was the most delicious thing we have ever eaten. We recommend the fried wontons (which are HUGE), the pan fried dumplings, the wor won ton soup and the combination fried rice along with 2 Inka Kolas. There were just 2 of us and we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. The bill came to $32! That was extremely affordable for all we had and way cheaper than the not-so-great place near our home. Whoa, what a find! Just from the name alone I though this was just another boring Chinese take out place with the usual dishes, but it's more than that! It's Peruvian-Chinese cuisine! My table of 10 ordered a bunch of stuff: duck fried rice, stir fried baby bok-choy, chicken-ginger soup, Jalea, Ceviche, Lomo Saltado de Carne, and Tallarines Verde con Pollo. Duck Fried Rice- I love duck! When you combine duck and fried rice, you get the greatest dish of all time. Jalea- This dish was battered and deep fried seafood and yuca. The seafood medley included shrimp, fish filet, and calamari. The Jalea was served on top of a bed of lettuce and vinegary onions. The seafood batter was seasoned so no additional salt was needed. Ceviche- It had tilapia, shrimp, and calamari. This ceviche was so good! They gave you a side of fried corn niblets to add some crunch for texture. Lomo Saltado de Carne- This was stir-fry beef slices mixed with french fries. This was ultimate fat kid food! A must try if you like french fries and beef.
