This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Florida because it's one of the closest I've…read morefound to authentic New York style Chinese food. I've gone into the restaurant a couple of times, and the staff has always been friendly and provided good service. It's a typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant. There is nothing fancy when it comes to the décor, but that's not why I go there. The food is. I've also ordered takeout several times, and I've found that as long as you're specific about how you want your food prepared, they usually get it right. I always ask for no peas and carrots in my fried rice. I honestly don't understand why the chinese restaurants in Florida add peas and carrots, unless it's vegetable fried rice, and you can always taste that the vegetables were frozen. This time I ordered chicken wings with shrimp fried rice and Mongolian beef with only onions, served with white rice. The food was flavorful, and everything was prepared just the way I requested. I also ordered the crab ration which was really good and a shrimp roll came with the meal. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because of three things. I was served chicken wings that still had feathers on it, which was a huge disappointment. Properly cleaning chicken is a basic part of food preparation, and that should never happen. I also wasn't a fan of the Styrofoam packaging for my order. The other thing was the shrimp roll. Half the roll was all vegetable and when I got to the bottom there were 2 shrimps. I hardly call that a shrimp roll. Aside from those issues, I really enjoyed the food and will continue to order from them, but will continue to let them know that they need to pay attention to these minor details.

I would still have to say China Hunt in Orlando is the best Chinese restaurant I have found so far but Great Wall is right behind them. What a perfect small restaurant with phenomenal staff walked in super polite to make it easier. I did order online and I just had to pick up very professional place very well well-maintained thank you for your business.

Unfortunately, the last couple of orders just didn't seem quite right. That prompted me to look up their most recent health inspection, and what I found was concerning. Their inspection from early July 2026 documented 19 violations, including several related to improper food handling and storage practices that could increase the risk of cross-contamination. While an inspection report doesn't necessarily mean people became sick, those are the kinds of issues that should never be overlooked. To be fair, Green House had a long history of passing inspections over the years. It's really only within the past year or so that the reports have become more concerning. I'm hoping they get things back on track because I'd genuinely like to order from them again. But until they demonstrate consistent improvement, this is unfortunately a hard pass for me.

I don't think I've ever had a disappointing experience with their food. I am always satisfied. I wanted to grab a quick lunch before running a few errands, so I decided to dine in. The hostess was friendly and seated us right away. The restaurant has the classic Chinese buffet atmosphere, complete with traditional Chinese décor and a beautiful koi fish pond. Since I visited during lunch, the selection wasn't as extensive as the dinner or weekend buffet, which I've noticed from previous visits. Even so, there were plenty of delicious options. The hot food was fresh and satisfying, and the sushi bar had a nice variety. They also have a hibachi station, although I haven't had the chance to try it yet. I ordered a Sprite, and I'm not sure what it was, but it tasted especially good and I'm not even a soda drinker! Overall, this remains one of my favorite Chinese buffets.
