Loved my chow fun. Amazing staff! Was staying in the area and walked to dinner here solo. Was greeted and allowed at any table I liked. I got a menu with lots of delicious options. I did wish there was a salad or XLB. The water was so yummy. I hadn't had water all day and it was so good. I ordered the chow fun. It didn't take long for it to come out. Lots of fun meats in there and a big plate of noodles. Excellent flavors. The staff were so nice always coming over to fill my water and chat and joke. I asked for water to go and the server told me that he buys red solo cups and gives them to guests because it means a lot to him to add convenience. I really appreciated that gesture. He shouldn't have to buy them himself for guests! The pricing is very reasonable. It's super clean inside. The curtains on the windows are closed to keep the sun out so it doesn't look very inviting from the outside but it's very bright and cozy inside. This place should get way more business and attention. They are incredible.

Several years have gone by since I tried this place last. Overall, I was unimpressed. Here are my thoughts: The good: the shrimp were tasty. The pork in the fried rice was delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked. There were plenty of snow peas in the vegetable mix. The service was fast. The bad: the shrimp are small about the size of a dime. The hot and sour soup has way too much vinegar. The shrimp with snow peas was really more like shrimp with mixed vegetables and some snow peas added. The chunks of zucchini were way too thick. The sauce was a little salty. The ugly: the gentleman at the front when I walked in, was detached, uninterested. He didn't really seem to care whether or not there was anybody there which there really wasn't. Only one other person in the restaurant at lunchtime.

The food was hot, fresh and ready when I arrived after calling the order in. The flavor of the sweet & sour pork and the broccoli beef was really good and they were able to accommodate my request of no broccoli(i know, i know)

Mandarin Chicken, broccoli shrimp, potstickers and egg rolls.

This restaurant had been…read moreon my radar for sometime, but the fact that it was called Folsom Palace lead my brain to believe it was in Folsom-took me a minute to grasp that it was actually right down the street from me in Citrus Heights. Our usual family of four was a family of three for the evening and this was the restaurant we chose. Boy did family member number four miss out! The service was impeccable from the moment that we walked in. That includes being greeted right away. The waitstaff was incredibly attentive and on top of the details. We ordered some pretty standard items off the menu to please everyone-vegetable chow mein, lemon chicken and pot stickers. Even though these might sound like boring dishes, they actually came out with such flair! The presentation on the dishes were gorgeous. They tasted amazing as well. I love the lighting of the restaurant. It gave it such a chill vibe. It's on a very busy street but you've never know it once you walk in it kind of feels like you are more tucked away in a smaller neighborhood.. I'm definitely looking forward to the next visit where I can try some more items like their Korean short ribs, I'd love to try some of their Curry's and a lot more of their chef specials!

I have not been to Red Lobster in about 3 years (in SoCal, dark, depressing, and seemed to be on…read morethe brink of closing), but it has been about 10 years from my last visit at the Sunrise location. I saw the new commercial and thought, let's see if anything has changed. First of all, the ambiance was inviting, friendly as you walked in the door. Hostess greeted us, table busser greeted us with a hello, I say hi as we walk by, he says I hope you have a nice evening. And honestly, that was the vibe the whole experience. Every worker in that restaurant, if you crossed them, they were friendly (a hello at minimum). The Manager or evening leader came by our table at one point to check in, a quick but purposeful engagement. We crossed him on our way out and again, he stated he hoped we had a great experience. Our server, who I cannot remember his name (but he was of Jamaican and Filipino decent) was friendly, upbeat, attentive, a whirlwind of activity in his section (in a good way). You never felt service was an issue, unless you don't like being taken care of. He made my mom feel special for her 77th b-day. The food. My mom had the jambalaya which she enjoyed, I had the boil with shrimp and sausage, corn, and potatoes. It was a first time for me and I thought it was great. The Cajun seasoning was on point, spicy, but not overwhelming. My wife had one of our old favorites, the Cajun shrimp Alfredo pasta. She was a little disappointed. It could be nostalgia kicking in, but even when I tried it, it was missing a little of the Cajun hit and creaminess. We actually used the Cajun seasoning in the bottom of my boil bag to bring it to life, and it was closer to its old form. My wife was happy, and packed her leftovers excited she will have that version at home. So, if someone at Red Lobster is looking, I would recommend a quick fix, because I use to love the Cajun chicken Alfredo pasta but it will need a pick me up. One more thing that felt different in today's world. Every staff member was moving with purpose. Delivering food or drinks, engaging with customers, cleaning tables, stocking the lobsters as we walked in, wiping down the glass, and cabinets at the entry on our way out. Clean, efficient, friendly. It has to be a culture thing, you obviously have the right leadership, with a motivated staff that has bought in to the process.

It just always makes me laugh when staff likes to make you feel bad for not having a reservation. Like, come on... there were SO many open tables throughout the entire 90 minutes we were there. Anyway-- I got a glass of the house red wine for the happy hour special, it was good. And we got to squeak in an order of the Ahi Nachos, which I believe are only offered on Happy Hour, and OMG, they were SO good. We were still talking about them the next day. The "nachos" were like a fried wonton. And just all around, the entire dish was delicious! Spicy jalapeños, quality tuna. Go to this place, even JUST for these nachos. The spicy crab (or lobster, I can't remember) bisque, was also really good. I'd recommend it. Mildly spicy, not crazy. My coworker got the caesar salad, and was very underwhelmed with it. For my entree I got the Pesto Scallop pasta. The scallops were overcooked, and underwhelming, in size. But I acknowledge that could just be the season. Doesn't excuse the fact that they were overcooked. The pesto sauce was yummy! I give this place a solid 4 stars, and would definitely revisit next time I'm back in the area. Ahi Tuna Nachos get a 5 star, though, for sure. Thanks for hosting us!

She patiently explained the menu and answered all of our questions. We ordered across the menu: a ribeye, a filet, the salmon, and one of the daily specials, scallops. We also ordered the Brie and bacon jam appetizer and one of our party had a Caesar Salad. There were a couple of substitutions: extra spinach instead of mashed potatoes with the salmon and fingerling potatoes instead of the mashed potatoes with the ribeye. I ordered the Brussels sprouts as well. Everything was delicious and prepared exactly as ordered. The proteins were substantial, well worth the price. We tried two desserts, the crème brûlée and the banana cheesecake. They matched the quality of the entrees. Everyone remarked on how great the sourdough bread that was brought to the table was. As the ladies in our party said, you could make a meal out of the bread along with some cheese and wine. We were seated in one of the side rooms, which didn't seem to hinder the service at all. Our water glasses were promptly refilled. It was a great experience.

FOOD we started with the chilled prawn cocktail. the prawns were fantastic, and the cocktail sauce was divine. we jumped into a cup of lobster bisque; which was something i was looking forward to. unfortunately, the soup tasted like a very bland tomato fish soup. ugh. it lacked flavor and i don't think there was hardly any lobster in it. major bummer! we go the surf and turf (with lobster), the rib eye, and mushrooms and brussels to accompany the steaks. TONS of food, which was nice (especially for the price)! both steaks were ordered medium rare; the filet was cooked as ordered and the rib eye was on the medium/medium well side. however, the major bummer with the rib eye was the menu states well marbled but the steak gas VERY fatty when you're paying $62 for a USDA prime, "well-marbled" (per the menu's description) steak, the last thing i'd expect is to describe the steak as more fatty then marbled. the sides were great; the garlic mashed potatoes with the soy wasabi sauce were incredible! SERVICE our server started out very attentive and progressively we saw him less and less throughout the night; waiting for the check, needing water refills, etc. i get that everyone has busy tables and the F&B industry is having a tough time, but dang. at a place like this, i'd expect top notch service throughout the dining experience! AMBIANCE it's very nice inside. super cool bar when you first walk in. lots of spacious seating so you're not sitting on top of one another and modern decor. after having worked in F&B, i totally understand the industry; some nights people call out, larger parties consume the kitchen, etc. but for the price, nothing really seemed to blow us out of the water :( hopefully it was just a bad night that we went. it has a great reputation for a reason! hoping the next visit is a better experience!
