Ordered general Tso Chicken for lunch. I said most places don't make it spicy enough and i asked for it extra spicy. It had no spice at all. I threw it away because it was basicly just chicken covers in a sugar sauces. I called and complained and the girl behind the counter tried to argue with me. Love this place, it's the only restaurant in town that makes Chinese food like the places up North. I've been trying to find a place like the one back home and this is it!They're always friendly and quick. The food is great and they always accommodate to my picky preferences. We are new to this area and tried China Express for our first attempt at finding a good local Chinese restaurant. We were pretty disappointed. The delivery was pretty fast and the delivery guy was polite, but the food tasted "off". Everything we ordered was disappointing and dry. I loved the old owners who made great food. They must have sold out to a new owner. Even though the customer service is great with extensive menu the food is not. The quality is not there and have to say we did not finish our meals and threw out the food. My husband was ill all night and threw the day. He was the only one to eat a little General Tso Chicken. Best Place I have found in town. I will not keep looking. The food is fast and correct. They even called me to clarify my order once when they had a question. No, they do not deliver to my area, however it's well worth the drive. :) I ordered Orange chicken and it has actual pieces of orange in it. Seems to be good quality and taste great. The best Chinese food in Brandon! Try the chicken egg rolls! The staff is super friendly! They remember your face and your order. Have not had a bad dish yet and I've tried just about everything on the menu! After years of trying to find the perfect Chinese-American food, THIS IS IT! I had a place growing up and through college that nailed it every time. It's been decades of hit and miss. We ordered the General Tso's and Orange Chicken on the lunch specials. It came with a generous helping pork fried rice and an egg roll. The entree was plentiful as well. We have always been happy with this restaurant . Food is good and delivery is fairly quick. I'm not sure what happened the last time we ordered. I placed my order Thru grub hub at 6:15. The restaurant gave a delivery window of 7:15 to 7:30. Okay 7:30 comes and goes. Now it's 8:00 ...I call them , they tell me they are slammed . Delivery is now out 2 hours . I tell him I placed my order at 6:15 ..where is it ? He says it should be here any time..ok. Now it's 9:00..we are still waiting . I call back to tell them forget the order..refund my money this is totally ridiculous.The gentleman tells me he doesn't see my order there on the counter ...it is out for delivery ..doorbell rings 9:15..our food has arrived. We ordered a variety of items tonight for delivery. It took about an hour and I was getting a little miffed about the wait. I called and the guy was really nice. He said the food was on the way and just then the doorbell rang. Everything we ordered was so amazingly delicious. Like sit down, nice restaurant, fresh and hot food. The sweet and sour, honey and general zaos chicken were all so juicy and yet still crispy. The beef was so tender. The shrimp was plump and juicy. All the rice was sticky and hot. They gave us ample amounts of sauce. The egg rolls were crispy and full of fresh cabbage. We were so shocked to have a strip mall Chinese place turn out food like that. We spent $70 and got two giant bags of food. Not one item disappointed. They even threw in 2 free egg rolls and wrote "free" with a smiley face. Nice touch. I can see now why we had to wait an hour. They're probably slammed at dinner time. I know we'll be ordering from them again. read more

I took off 1 star for lack of seating. Very good restaurant. I enjoyed my General Tso's chicken. Spices were not over powering. The meal came to me hot and ready to eat. It was an enjoyable lunch and I will be back again. read more

Do NOT order from here. I have tried several Chinese take out places and have been looking for a delivery option that was quick and delicious. We ordered several things (fried dumplings, wonton soup, pork fried rice, hunan beef, and general tsos chicken) and the dumplings were the only thing remotely edible. The chicken definitely tasted like it was old and rancid when cooked, the wonton soup had barely any flavor at all, and the fried rice was dry and bland. There are definitely better Chinese take out places in Brandon. read more
