I ordered sweet and sour chicken and asked for fried rice thinking that it came with white rice. I was given white rice when I didn't want that. The chicken was really bland tasting. I didnt even tell the waitress that wasnt what I ordered cause she didnt even ask if everything was OK until half way through my husband finishing his meal. So instead of making him wait on me to fix my food I ate very little. read more

Went here a couple of weeks ago and the food was very good! It was a weird time of day so only one server working but she was very friendly and good at her job! Eggrolls were a little too crispy but the portions were a very nice size. It looks a little run down from the outside and there is a corner of supplies (dishes/bottles of soda) open to the customers view but the looks didn't affect our good food/service! If you want good Chinese food, definitely give this place a try! read more

We received our order and it was completely wrong. We ordered three meals and they were all incorrect. When we called about getting a refund the manager was very unprofessional and didn't help us at all. She told us we were lying and we had to bring the food in and they'd remake it instead of just giving our money back. She also told us it wasn't her problem and we had to figure it out ourselves. Definitely never ordering or going here again. There were bones in your General Taos chicken BONES!!!!! the Chicken with garlic sauce was not what so ever chicken with garlic sauce. The sesame chicken was supposed to be with white rice but came with fried rice AND our egg rolls were burnt and crab Rangoons were undercooked. read more

Huge portions! The daily special combos are only $10.39 and it always is enough for 2 meals. The staff are friendly and the crab Rangoon's and egg rolls have the perfect crispness! We love eating there. A family of 4 can eat for about $52 and have left overs. The coconut chicken combo is my favorite. read more

Some of the worst Chinese food i've ever had. the lo mein was bland and full of cooking oil. The "beef" egg foo young was disgusting, and the "beef" inside was tough, chewy, and no way in hell did it taste like beef... dog or cat or something foul. The coconut chicken was ok at best, but i mean its all in the tempura batter, so they didn't really have to do anything there. Even the egg rolls sucked, and the crab rangoons were cold, too sweet; like mascarpone, and no crab inside... I got very sick after eating it; like physically ill and in bed, and then comes the diarrhea. It was overpriced dog s**t, don't eat here!! Go to panda express, 100x better. read more

This place has amazing food!! I had the Mongolian Chicken and hubby had the pork with veggies. We also got the combo sampler platter that was a meal in itself! We used to go to Shanghi in Milan till they burned down, and then found this gem! You have to give it a try! And the service was great! read more

Horrible waitress. Stood at our table for at least 10 minutes complaining about a previous customer. We already had our food and just wanted to eat. Then she told another group the story! Returned to our table to complain some more. Apparently, someone tried to get his food cheaper. Turns out the online prices are different, and when he ordered online was given the wrong price. Not the customers fault at all. Good Rangoon, won't return solely because of that ignorant entitled woman. Boo. read more

One of our favorite Chinese places! One of my sons loves the coconut chicken. Their shrimp angel hair is also delicious. The portions are huge. One order of angel hair is enough for 3 people. read more

This place is so disappointing. I really like the one in Davenport, but the Moline version has some catching up to do, to say the least. Portions are huge, so if you want a lot of food for your dollar, there's that. However, the food was, in my opinion, truly awful. I can honestly tell you that aside from the egg rolls that are quite good, we threw away 90% of our food after a bite or two of each dish. Yes, it's that bad. We got fried rice, Mongolian beef, and orange chicken, as well as egg rolls and pot stickers. The egg rolls were full and tasty, crispy and flavorful. Everything else was very close to inedible. Tough meat, gloppy flavorless fried rice, sticky sauces and greasy, greasy, greasy. My husband isn't super picky, especially when he's hungry, but he said, "throw this out" immediately after trying his dinner. I was happy when they opened as they deliver and have an order online option. I hope they start serving actual food soon and that the reviews improve, or I suspect they won't be in business long. I will never go back, as I'd rather get my junk Chinese at HyVee. read more

Wonderful food!! The BEST Rangoons Top Notch service, and a cute cozy place. I like that the booths and table have good spacing.. most places try to pack people in like sardines, like United airlines.. but there's ample room. Additionally, they have a decent drink selection. I had angel hair pasta with and extra veggies, never has that before - it was lovely!! I also had some fried rice, tasted like they literally made it for me. The portions are crazy, they give you A LOT of bang for your buck!! Also... it smelled good in there, the test room was CLEAN.. just honestly, an all around nice place. Don't let the simplicity of the building fool you!! read more

Disappointing. Possibly the worst generic Chinese food I have ever eaten. They need a new cook.

Placed an order for delivery, ordered orange chicken not spicy and it was made very spicy. The chicken is hard as rock and I didn't receive my crabragoon that comes with my combo. Very disappointed read more

Ordered from here over the phone, got combination lo mein and told food would be ready in 15-20 minutes. Drive to drive through to pick up food approx 20 min after my order, told to pull up and wait. Then, stick waiting another whole 10 minutes, which wouldn't have been a problem if they'd told me it would be a 30 min wait. Even then it seems ridiculous that such a simple order couldn't get done on time. Then I finally get the food and go home and the lo mein looks like this. They couldn't get it into the original to go container so they put another one around it and gave up. Was a complete mess and headache to open. Then lo mein itself was passable, but the crab rangoon was barely above room temperature. read more

We have eaten dinner here twice and ordered online too, which is very convenient. We enjoyed or meals each time which is alway quick and hot. We like spicy food, so for us it could be spicier... But the flavor is great and we really like their fried rice. Our only complaint was that the waiter/ waitress carry on pretty loud conversations all during your meal even while they walk away to check on tables... We learned more about their computer passwords and such than we cared to hear about! They need to keep their conversations private and limited as they are causing the customers to either give up their own conversation and listen or strain to hear each other...It's all one large room! They were pleasant but probably new to waiting tables ... But... The food is worth returning for,,, we may just get it to go!! read more

Best Chinese there is! I love the place, their food is super fresh. If you get the General Tso's Chicken you can feel the crispiness, it's almost like my grandma cooking (or even better sorry grandma). The service is great! Very friendly staff with a very welcoming atmosphere. I was here 9 times and this place is a keeper! read more

DO THEY SERVE CAT MEAT?? OR DO THE COOKS JUST LIKE TO MAKE YOU THINK THEY DO? ? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. My fiancé and I stopped in to eat what we thought would be a nice dinner. When from the back we hear distressed cat noises. Then a sizzling pan. Disgusting and very unprofessional. Couldn't believe the waitress had the audacity to ask us to pay after that. Sorry just doesn't seem to be enough after an experience like that. Please think twice before eating at this restaurant. NO STARS. read more

This place is the worst!! They put soooo much sauce on your food even when you ask for less! I have ordered my food several times with the sauce on the side and just recently ordered it the same way, except this time they put sauce on the food and then charged me extra for sauce. I called and asked them to redo my order, they said they would. When I pulled up to receive my new order the manager told me I was wrong and that I've never had my food from there with no sauce! She literally argued with me for 20 mins. I finally just told her, please redo it with little to no sauce and refund my money for the extra sauce charge. She gave me my order, and said " you can keep the sauce, you'll probably need it"!! Sooo rude and she didn't refund me! Don't waste your money at this gross establishment!!!! read more

Don't believe any of the bad reviews on this page. This place is by far the best cheap Chinese you can get anywhere. I used to eat here almost every day when I worked in the area. The staff was above and beyond polite and helpful. The place is always clear and they are always quit to help you right when you walk in. The lunch special are very cheap (less than 6 bucks!) and the portions are HUGE. read more

This is my favorite Chinese place on the USA. Has something for everyone on the menu. There Chinese-american dishes are also very good

Delicious food for a great price. The sesame tofu was amazing. Delivery was quick as well.

Negative ONE. Went here last weekend. Got home and discovered they gave me the wrong meal. I called them right away. Woman told me to come back and they would fix it. I told her that I didn't want to drive back there because it was late. I asked if I could come back another day. She said yes and to bring the ticket on the bag and my receipt. Went there tonight to get the right item. She refused to make it right. She told me that I had to bring the wrong meal back. I told her that I threw it away because I can't eat too much garlic and it was several days ago! She stated that it is just like when you return something to Walmart. You have to bring it back. I said this is a restaurant and meals are usually comped or they give you a gift certificate. She said, "Not here we don't and slammed the window". WOW. Great customer service. NOT!!! read more

We've ordered from their delivery service several times...every time it gets worse & worse. I ordered sesame chicken & received something like a spicy orange chicken. More than half of the chicken was so tuff I couldn't chew it, & what I could chew was stringy & over fried . I don't think I'll order from there again. What a shame we use to love that place. read more

Good quality food and great service as well. Have been there at least once every month.

This place just made a bad day better. I'm currently stuck in Moline, IL. (It's a long story so I won't ramble on about it) The China Café just delivered me (a tired, frustrated and very hungry soul) my dinner ...at the FREAKN Quad City International Airport! ...Yes at the FREAKN Airport. That alone gets a star and a half the other 2 and a half are for the best Chicken Teriyaki Sticks that I probably have ever had in my life. I don't know how to give a half star but I really give The China Café 4 and a half stars out of 5. Highly recommend the Chicken Teriyaki Sticks, try em if you get the chance!!! read more

My new favorite for Chinese food. The owner knows my tastes and can list off she thinks I'll like for the day. She does the same with all of my friends. Her staff is super friendly, and everyone knows the menu, substitutions, etc. She makes great vegetarian dishes with bean curd. General Tso Tofu, Orange Tofu, fried rices with vegetables, you name it. They also do phone in orders, take out, on line ordering as well. Never had a single problem. Prices can't be beat! I live out of town, so it's nice just to place an order online and have it waiting when I pull up. Of course, they do restaurant.com as well - can ask for anything else! read more

I think it was the owner? Well added a 15% service fee to our bills. Last time we came here they didn't add a service fee. Yes we had 6 people but one didn't even eat. Ones white rice was not even cooked. Service was absolutely terrible. No refills on drinks. Pretty sure the waitress and cooks were talking about us in Chinese. read more

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant to order take out and we didn't even get the chance to order. The hostess avoided us and was rude and unfriendly when we tried to place our order. We were appalled! No idea what the food tastes like, we didn't stick around. Very poor customer service. Never again. read more

Ordered takeout tonight and was favorably impressed. Had two soups -- Hot & Sour and House Special. The hot & sour is just average--nothing special. The House Special soup was quite tasty. Both chicken and shrimp with vegetables. Fresh and flavorful. Entrees tried were Pepper Steak and Mongolian Beef. Both were very good. The pepper steak vegetables were fresh and not overcooked--nice light crunch to the peppers and onions. The Mongolian Beef had lots of tender beef--the ratio was almost too much, as I would have preferred more green onions! The beef was very tender with good flavor--almost a hint of a smokey, barbecue flavor. It was very mild--I would have preferred a little more bite. This review is based on only one visit, but I'll definitely return as this is better than what passes for Chinese around here. read more

Where to even begin...wonton soup is flavorless to say the least. Little crunchy strips for soup were stale. Chicken fried rice is also flavorless and chicken taste like some sort of mystery meat. There is corn in the fried rice, really??? No spoons were in the bag for the soup. Crab rangoon were pretty good but no sauce for them. Delivery was suppose to be here in 40 minutes and a hour and a half later, food arrived. Total waste of money. At a hotel so going to bed hungry. Thanks Moline, I'll never forget ya. read more

Total garbage. I ordered Beef Lo Mein, Hot and Sour soup, and crab rangoons. The Lo Mein tastes like it's been sitting in a buffet drying out under a heat lamp all day drying out, the soup has a gelatinous texture and is 100 percent spicy zero percent sour, and the rangoons are JUST OKAY. They're a little overstuffed, so its overwhelming. Will never order from them again. read more

I ordered two lunch items for delivery at 1:07. I paid $5.00 for the delivery fee and was told it would take 45-60 minutes. An hour and twenty minutes later two meals arrived. To say they were warm would be a stretch, room temperature is more accurate. I phoned to express my displeasure and was told they could deliver new, hot food to me. Since it took an hour and twenty minutes originally I declined the offer of a second delivery. read more

This is my first time Ever visiting the QC area. As a food enthusiast I'm destined to try it out. From the outside it just look like any Chinese restaurant, but wow the food was amazing! Not happy with food or service. Called in order for coconut shrimp and Mongolian beef with no onions and fried rice, drove over picked up $26.00 worth of food got home and had coconut chicken and scallions in the beef. Called and was told they were too busy to deliver the CORRECT order so had to drive back down to pick it up. Got back home and opened the bag to find the lids were not tight on the containers so the juice from both items seeped into the containers and all over the bottom of the bag and on the seat of my car. Called them back not going to do anything unless I come back again and the lids leaked because I probably drive to fast. Won't be going back! read more
