We were seated, and she apologized for slow service because two people called off. She was doing her best to cover. After looking at the menu, I decided on the senior spaghetti dinner.this came without garlic bread. The pasta was cooked perfectly. It was not sticky or mushy. The sauce was thin and had little meat. The taste was pretty good. The meal was good, and the menu was extensive. I will be back to check out more items here.

It's been close to ten years since I first been here from their last location. I have had nothing less than the best from here. From the first time I ordered food here till a few days ago it has been exactly the same of which I have never seen from another restaurant EVER. The ambience is relaxing calm and warm. The food is balanced not heavy and fresh. I look forward to more years eating here and it will forever be my favorite spot.

Still absolutely love their Crab Rangoon's and the Sushi, but entrees can be average or worse…read more Have eaten an entree at this restaurant four times and I've never been super impressed. In fact, one time, the beef in the Beef and Broccoli was not edible. Had the consistency of cooked rubber. Couldn't eat it. Terrible! Other entrees were much better, today I had the Sesame Chicken. I'd say that was okay, but our sushi was the highlight of the meal. Going to continue frequenting for Sushi and Crab Rangoon's but might skip the entrees.

We were going to be in Brillion and I knew I'd be busy unloading groceries and definitely not in the mood to cook. My call was answered immediately by a pleasant easy-to-understand young person. While rather disappointed to learn that Egg Fu Yung is no longer available (not ordered often enough, alas), we ordered our standby meal of Crab Rangoon, Sweet & Sour Pork, and Moo Goo Gai Pan. Our order was ready before 15 minutes elapsed and Hunan accepts credit cards. The crab rangoons were right on top of the carefully packaged bag so we had to try those immediately. Fantastic! Full of the cream cheese mixture and crispy, notably NOT overcooked to the point of being almost burned. While no one, including Hunan, seems to include the green pepper and pineapple chinks once a part of the sweet sour sauce, the deep fried park was notable for its size, flavor, and the delicate batter. So often one must look for the meat inside of heavy breading. It was excellent and the portion generous and reasonably priced. My Moo Goo Gai Pan was superb: a generous portion of chicken, pea pods, carrots, white onions, and superlatively fresh quartered mushrooms in an outstandingly flavorful white sauce. I highly recommend Hunan's of Brillion, Wisconsin. Excellent food, friendly staff, generous portions, and reasonable prices are an unbeatable combination. Please note that it is a carryout/takeout restaurant only. Brillion is a nice little city with stores and parks that seem to be worth exploring so perhaps someday we'll find a nearby park in which to eat our wonderful Chinese meal.

My husband I drive past this place nearly everyday and always say "we should try that place"…read more We'll tonight was the night. We arrived around 4:30 and the place was already busy. We were able to find a table right away. Our server was friendly and attentive. Upon reviewing the specials and menu, I decided on the shrimp basket. The dinner comes with choice of soup or salad, and choice of potato. I chose the clam chowder and fries. My clam chowder came out fairly quick, and I was disappointed. It was wayered down and flavorless. I added some salt, pepper and a couple toasted bread chunks and it made it a little better. A short time later my shrimp plate came out, the breading on the shrimp was crispy and seasoned well. The fries were hot and crispy. The shrimp dinner was the redeeming grace from the disappointment of the clam chowder. The dining room is small, and dimly lit, with the tables close together. Overall it was a good experience, and another trip may be a possibility in the future.

I ordered the liver and onions and potato salad and coleslaw as my sides. The meal came out pretty quick for as busy as they were. The coleslaw was a sweet version. It had a lot of liquid in it. I would have liked a little less liquid. The potato salad was very good. It had celery and onions in it. The potatoes were firm, not mushy. The liver was tender and moist topped with perfectly caramelized onions and extra crispy bacon. This is a dish I would order again for sure. The service was good and cost reasonable. I'm glad I came in tonight.

The beef with snow pea pods was not good. The beef was tough, the pea pods mushy and too many carrots. The Lo Mein noodles tasted fishy. The house special fried rice was boring, lacked ingredients and was yellow! It was more like a Mediterranean rice. So odd. The sesame chicken was ok. We spent a lot of money for subpar, no flavor food. We grabbed our order thinking it would include the usual soy sauce, hot mustard and sweet sauce, nope. Good thing we had a side of the ok sesame sauce to add some flavor. I am not sure if it was a bad night or what because other reviews are good. I wish the restaurant well but for $70, not worth it.
