I got when I called in to place the order cause I couldn't get an order for delivery because they don't deliver apparently so the guy was kind of an idiot in my opinion and he said he was the manager and he just wasn't very nice at all. Starting with the positives... the building and atmosphere is much cleaner and smells better than the previous location. And the hostess And service was good. Unfortunately, it's a restaurant and you come for the food and it was sub-par at best. All the dishes were cold to lukewarm warm at best. Even the soup. I was glad when the person at the table over said something to the staff. We tried a little of everything and found only a couple dishes to be palatable. I should have walked out the second I came in. You can tell they don't take pride in this establishment anymore. Which is a shame cause the dining room was pretty full. Price can't be beat! Service was not the best but can be overlooked by the amount of variety of food at your disposal. Well as far as barfett's go this one was not so bad. We just driving thru town and saw it. The chicken sauté (stick) was nice n tender, Mongolian beef was good lots of onions , mushrooms always good too. Most deep fried stuff with sauce was ooey gooey ( didn't have any of that). They were making the Rangoons from a tub on the table a few down from us! Lol three people in the resturant! Guess kitchen is small...??? They tasted a bit like sugar added but tastey. Sushi just ok. Yes, it is a "China Buffet". Food under a heat lamp and it's all you can eat for one low price. You can also order from a menu. But if it says "Buffet" you should try what their specialty is...right? Now, I visited this place because I'm new to the area and checking out as many restaurants as I can to find favorites. This place had good reviews. I like Chinese food because it is greasy and tasty but I get a stomach ache most of the time. This time is no exception. I'm assuming it's MSG because I have frequented a few Chinese places where they said they don't cook with MSG and I noticed I didn't have a stomach ache. I tried shrimp with vegetables, not a lot of taste, pork skewer (which was tough and luke warm) the pan fried noodles were mushy no flavor. Although the cookies were delicious. It's hard to mess up sugar. It all tasted like its suppose to but i wasn't impressed. No specialty dishes, just generic. Which is fine if you just want to stuff your face. There were lots of options as far as food, but the temperature of the food certainly wasn't ServeSafe temperature. The decor was a bit cluttered and there were too many had made jewelry sitting around with an in your face display. Over all we left wondering is we were going to get sick or not. Food is always excellent. They have a very yummy buffet, where you can sit down or do carry out. However, I find it has a never changing menu, the same foods with the same prices. Also you have to go at the right times, as some food tastes as it has been sitting out for a while. read more

Pretty good place to eat, considering there aren't that many choices in Lawrenceburg. The best thing they have going for them is the fresh food grilled on the spot. They have a nice selection of raw meat, seafood and vegetables, and you can pick what you want and take it over to the grill and they will cook it on the spot. You just can't beat that for fresh cooked. It is well cooked and seasoned just right. YUM.They also have a buffet of "already prepared" food that is pretty good. Also a good dessert selection including handdipped ice cream. I suppose the only real negative is the location.
