If you're wanting to get risky, this is your place! Great for day old food served luke warm if you're lucky. Nothing like barely warm chicken touching your lips as you pray for the food poisoning to be not all that bad. As you know, you're not getting away without paying the bill for the garbage, so you risk it. YOLO We had a hard time finding anything that was up to temp and not chewy. China Buffet is one of those places you can always go to and always expect the same great food to eat and enjoy with friends, family, and other guests. Food: 5/5 A great variety, freshly prepared and ready for you to come and dig in. I love their crab rangoons, I usually load up on them since they are so crunchy and perfect. I always go for lunch since I prefer the lunch selection compared to dinner. Portions: 5/5 Well, it's a buffet, so, take what you want! Just don't take too much and leave a whole plate left of good food to throw away. Price: 5/5 You can't beat an all you can each lunch buffet of good Chinese food with a drink for only about 8 bucks. Service: 5/5 The waitresses are very attentive and always ready to take you to your seat, get your drink, and get your bill. Always checking to refill drinks and take plates, very nice young ladies. Environment: 4/5 Well, you can't expect every buffet to be glamorous, but at least a good job is done keeping the place clean and sanitary for its guests. I crave chinese food and this is where I like to go. Good food for a good price! Their cheese sticks are the best! I wish they would have more American food but maybe in the future they will add to their menu. My husband and I just drink water here and it is good water. Not the weird funky tasting water but the crisp and refreshing water. The waitresses are very sweet and helpful. I like how the ice cream is soft serve as well. read more

Unbelievably good! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Freeport. It has great Chinese food for its value. The Chicken and Black Pepper is to die for. If I could, I would yank the pan of it out of the steam table. The rest is always very tasty. I'm a fan of the Mongolian Pork and the Veggie Lo Mein too. They have some "American" food or food that even a picky eater would like. It's a great value for the all-you-can-eat atmosphere. The decor is nothing fancy: booths and tables with an Oriental theme. Moved out to Freeport 4 years ago. This was a twice a week stop. It has slowly gone down hill and is at a point now where the food is at most times inedible. In those same four years the food served has not changed in variety by 5%. They charge $7.50 for lunch and $11 for dinner. Funny thing is it is the same food variety. This place is an overlooked treasure that we enjoyed together. My mom and I can personally say we've had many happy experiences here. When we went in for the first time, we were amazed by the sheer variety of food, but afraid that the quality would suffer from making it all. We were never so happy to be wrong. Every piece of food is made with care, from our favorite Pepper Steak to Hawaiian Chicken to the soups and salads and desserts. You can tell that the staff care that you leave with a full belly and a smile on your face. Also, the bathrooms are clean, the decor is both calming and beautiful, and the food is inexpensive. My family and I went here today an everything we had was disgusting. I've never experienced worst food in my entire life. Even the pineapple tasted like old oranges. The sugar donuts were under cooked. The shrimp was under cooked and the soup was slimy and the crackers were stale. Nothing was edible. Hope you the very best!!! read more
