I went in today expecting it to be as bad as the reviews. It's not nearly as bad as these asshats are making it out to be. In fact, the hot and sour soup was perfect, most of the food wasn't perfect, Perhaps they can turn the heat up a bit more on the buffet pans. But all together the service was good, and the people were nice. The Chinese buffets are slim around here so "we the people" gotta give this one a little slack. This restaurant really could use some better paint, and decor, and perhaps some Chinese meditation music to drown out the asshats. Advice to the owner, never stop improving, and keep it up. I am a big fan of Chinese culture, and the food of course the Chinese woman. When we walk in to a Chinese restaurant we want to feel engulfed in another land of culture. read more

I love this place. Yes, some of the food is mediocre, but its a buffet for 13 dollars. And some of that food is GOOD. Don't tell me this place is bad if you haven't tried the chicken on a stick. Almost everything was cold and hard. Most of it didn't appear to have been even stirred for hours. There was also a young girl chopping vegetables at a table in front - ungloved, touching her face and hair, getting up to take payments, and coming back to the vegetables. Never washing her hands or putting on gloves. There were many open drinks and half eaten food on the same table. I am shocked I didn't end up in the hospital. read more

Absolutely the WORST Chinese buffet I've ever been to. I read the negative reviews before I went, but decided to give it a shot anyway. All of the food was soggy and cold. I went during the lunch hour, so I figured at least some of it would be fresh... Nope! The fried rice was flavorless and cold. The noodles were actually hard like they had been sitting out for a LONG time, or not thoroughly cooked. I saw they had hibachi, but the flies around the raw meat just didn't sit well with me so I decided to pass. You have to get your own drinks, silverware, etc. as there are no waitresses. In all seriousness, go somewhere else. I ate about 5 bites of food and left. I was going to run through a drive-thru but I too nauseas to eat after that. $10 down the drain. read more

Looking for cheap Chinese buffet? Then this is the place... Unfortunately, in all ways possible. The food was, well, sad. There wasn't much variety amongst dishes, and it seemed that we came on the tail end of lunch because it looked like it had been sitting out for awhile. Service? Attentive, when it came to your business, aka taking your money (and assuming that I will indeed pay for both my own and friend's lunch), and busing your table as you leave. Space? Very very open. I decided to check this place out, despite its low overall rating, because the most recent reviewer reported new ownership and a good experience. I'm so glad I did! Granted, the appearance of the restaurant is dive-y, but in my experience, all the best places are dives! That proved true here, as well. Everything I tasted on the buffet was exceptionally tasty and fresh, with only one exception (the General Tso's chicken). But...I mean, come on! That's extremely good odds at a buffet, in my opinion! There were far too many options on this buffet for me to try everything I wanted to, so I look forward to a return visit soon. This is the first time I've been to this place and the food was great. I asked one of the employees if they changed owners or not and she said yes. But the best part was the food was hot and ready the employees where really nice plus, they would get refills fast and take your plate right when they spot them. It was an ok place to eat. We went for lunch and they had quite a bit on their buffet. There wasn't anyone to get our drinks and no one got us refills. The restrooms were not the best either. There were broken toilets and the door wouldn't lock. I really don't see us going back. read more

This place has been running downhill for a long while. I was excited to see the remodeled sign on the outside of the building. My excitement dropped instantly when we got inside, I couldn't tell that anything was different at all. The food on the buffet was all old and stale tasting. The staff was pouring drinks out of 2 liters instead of using the soda fountain. I decided a few years ago that I wasn't going back. The remodeled sign made me try it again but now again I will not be back again. It's a shame because I love China buffets but there isn't a good one in the town of Columbus, IN. read more

At a price of $9/person, the quality and selection was not bad for what you are paying for. The buffet was clean. The dining room was clean. The bathroom was clean. There was a very attentive staff member who kept drinks filled and dishes cleared. We arrived at 3:45pm and there was a decent selection. I love Chinese food, and I've at at a lot of Chinese buffets. As you know, most of theses places have similar entrees. This place is disgusting! Some of the food looked like it had sat out on the bar all day, while other food tasted like they have been putting food out there from yesterday! And all of us are feeling sick after eating there! Hopefully we won't have to spend the night at a hospital. My advice to you is keep on driving and go to McDonald's or anywhere else instead! Don't waste your time or money!
