As usual, the food is amazingly good. We have yet to try a dish we thought - nah, not doing that one again. I am not a huge fan of having cream cheese in my sushi rolls, but Tougen does not use an excessive amount like other sushi restaurants in this area. We tried the Tempura Fried Cheesecake per the owner's recommendation. It was nicely presented, with a rich flavor. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. The chef was very short with us and I was disappointed as the showmanship and the cooking should want us to return. I will not return. The drinks were terrific! But the wait for refills and whatnot was too long. Also it is so outdated and dirty. The woman's bathroom was so so disgusting. We got there at 1 pm so bathroom should have been clean and the servers should have been able to be on top of us.
