Usually, we get take out but we have dined in several times, and it has always been a good experience. This time, we ordered a family dinner and it was at a great price ! Use to be my favorite Chinese restaurant. Shrinkflation has hit their customers hard. My last order (Kung Pao Combo) was 90% zucchini! The East Charleston China A Go Go is located at 5841 E. Charleston and S. Sloan in the Albertson's Plaza on the south end. I have started eating there about once a week or more. The quality of food is as good as anywhere in Las Vegas and the portions are generous. The servers are friendly and quick to refill drink orders. I highly recommend giving this place a try when in the area and I recommend the Seafood Hot/Sour soup, the Walnut Shrimp, and Kung Pao Chicken/Shrimp, but all their menu items are good. I got salt pepper shrimp, 3 spam musubi & kalua pork. I asked for extra spicy salt pepper shrimp. They literally dumped chili oil on the dish which made it soggy. I couldn't eat it. It was terrible. Usually Chinese restaurants add extra jalapenos not dump chili oil all over the fried food. It ruins it! And the shrimp had a bad after taste like it was old! Yuck!! The kalua pork would have been ok had they separated the macaroni salad from the hot food. By the time I got home the mac was tossed in with the Kalua pork. It was hot too. This has been one of my favorite go to places for close-to-real Chinese food. The food here is really good, close to traditional. They always seem to give you more than you expect. I've had Honey walnut shrimp which is amazing yet quite sweet also. Their portions can almost serve two people which is pretty good. They work hard to maintain the area clean. Do not over think it when picking this place out to eat, you will not be disappointed.
