My husband and I went there because of the viral plug on instagram. We drove all the way from Spring Valley! They advertise a picture of pepper chicken with green beans on their kiosk menu, only to find out everyone serving there said " We don't sell that here!" Gross rice was under cooked you could literally taste the uncooked rice! The chowmein was oily and greasy with a smell like they had been cooking in it to long! The server Girl with the braces had a horrible prejudice attitude! I will never return there! She deliberately pushed our plates three people behind.... Servicing customers behind me who was waiting for food to be replenished! Rang them ahead of me, while my plates were just sitting there ready! All because I asked her about the green beans! She even had the audacity to actually twisted her face up at me and say "We don't sell chicken and biscuits" JUST WOW! NEVER AGAIN!
Great food everything tastes fresh staff is nice fast and friendly. Plenty of seating or take out prices are fair you definitely get your moneys worth
I've been seeing this place all over Tik Tok so I was excited to finally try. I went around 10:45 am on a Monday and luckily there was no line. I was greeted upon walking in, and I noticed the inside of the establishment isn't the cleanest nor is there much room to dine in. Now for the food, everything looked delicious and fresh. I got the two meat plate with orange chicken and the beef with onions/peppers, half chow mein half fried rice. Everything was soooo tasty it sas some of the best Chinese food I've tried in Las Vegas, no lie. Definitely worth the try
Today I went here. It was extremely crowded. Took me almost 20 minutes to get my food although the food is usually good .. today check out the ASIAN guy w glasses just took my card and didn't even allow me to see how much I was paying for which pissed me off because who the fuck do you think you are to just take my card and just let me blindly pay for something. I honestly think he tipped his self that's so disrespectful
Omg this place is so good. Very generous portions, the staff are all working and seem very friendly. The prices cannot be beaten and a huge serving. It tasted good I mean I just loved it. I will definitely stop by again! The Beijing beef had little potatoes in it - was a nice surprise and was very tasty. The noodles didn't have a bunch of unnecessary filler veggies in it either. It's in a strip mall parking lot but don't be put off - it's Absolutely worth it, you won't regret giving it a try!!
All the food was exceptionally delicious, especially the shrimp and chowmein! It was very busy with line out the door so the establishment was neglected especially the trash over flowing. Check your receipt during the rush since the gal charged me for something that was not mine, but she was able to refund it after. Would recommend for take out!
November 5th Visit around 7pm. Yelp Review #39 of 2025 This business was highly recommended to us, based on generous servings and taste. I will say that this is a place that is definitely going to give you a bang for your buck. They do not mess around when it comes to your servings of chow mein, or fried rice. We tried the Mongolian beef, the Beijing beef, sweet-and-sour pork, walnut shrimp, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and salted pork chop. Although I don't eat much pork like I used to, I really enjoyed the sweet-and-sour pork and the pork chop. When I arrived, there was maybe six people ahead of me, but it took me nearly 20 minutes just to get to the front of the line, order my food, and then pay. [I passed by this location about a month ago, we decided to walk out because the line was about 45 minutes long.] Overall, it is slightly loud, but it's more because of the amount of people waiting in line and it is people being unruly. We would definitely go back and try this business again. Although we may not do the sweet-and-sour pork as it was too bready, same with the walnut shrimp.

I believe that Dragon Express blew up because of all the influencers that have been posting on social media. Food was okay, chow mein needed some seasoning in my opinion and was a but salty, bbq pork and orange chicken were both saucy, yet flavorful. Beijing beef had subtle heat, but no crunch, and the honey walnut shrimp were big and juicy, but lacking in flavors of sweetness and I also did not get any Walnuts? Pricing seemed fair until most of the side items are an up-charge. It was a nice pleasant day to check this place out, I left full and satisfied.
I happen to be on that side of town and decided to drop in for dinner. I made the mistake of not walking the line before starting my order. Kind of like Panda Express I started off with half noodles half fried rice. I also ordered the Mongolian beef orange chicken and honey shrimp. I probably would've swapped the Mongolian beef for the barbecue pork which I saw after, but overall the Mongolian beef was good orange chicken was good and also the honey shrimp was delicious.. I barely ate the rice and noodles as they both were a little on the bland side. The only knockout have is unless you stick to some of the basic entrees there's an up charge on almost every other item. What started as 1184 three entrees plus one side became 18 dollars because of two up charges and soda. Next time I'll probably just get the white rice and maybe veggies to go along with the entrees which were good.
The portions here are huge and they pack the containers so full that you definitely get your money's worth. Their orange chicken and fried rice was fresh, hot, and delicious. Staff is also friendly. Highly recommended!
Being an LA native, I've been on the hunt for a "ghetto Chinese food" spot. Basically meaning, a place that isn't panda, authentic, greasy, flavorful and big portions... Dragon Express is all that and a bag of chips! The flavors here are so different and delicious! They're so hearty and everything I was looking for! The orange chicken was crunchy and juicy. The beef was even better. Some of the best chewy chow mein noods! The cheese wontons were so fresh and so were the egg rolls. The women there are so sweet. I love the service. They HOOK IT UP! I like how clean it was in there as well. The area isn't the most popular but this is a diamond in the rough and I dream about the day I go back.
Checking out the hype that everyone was raging about. I have to say its overrated. Can't believe everything you see on social media. The chowmein was salty, the mushroom chicken was salty, the orange chicken was more batter than chicken. The flavor is there, just too salty for my palate. My favorite would have to be the honey walnut shrimp, but they're stingy on that bc I had to pay extra for that side. Because they just open, I might give them another chance to settle in and improve their routine and recipe.
today i came into the restaurant as soon as they opened because i heard it gets busy quickly. i ordered a (Plate C) 3 choice proteins of sesame chicken, teriyaki chicken, and beef broccoli with rice and chowmein. my total was $14. the fried sesame chicken had like subtle honey garlic flavor which it not bad i just wish there was some spice and the sauce did make the breading soggy. the teriyaki chicken had good flavor and grilled to perfection i personally don't like the amount of cartilage or bones i kept biting into. no complaints about the beef broccoli and i really like how the broccoli had crunch to it. staff was kind, patient, as worked really fast. i'd came back here to try more items and their desserts

Woww, I just ordered Delivery from Dragon Express Chinese restaurant. I got their (2 item entree) Beef & Broccoli/Mushroom Chicken with Chow Mein and Mixed veg for the 2 sides, totalling $13.99!! Everything was very wonderful, the way I like it. Only thing is.. their sides and the 2 Meat entree is all in one container? But, the good News is, I can still split it up into 4 Dinner meals for me alone throughout the week!! Amazing... I'll be ordering from them a lot, as I'm only doing Delivery for now with the High Heat Warnings in August 2026, I don't do very good in the Heat. But, no wonder everybody seems to like their food. The beef in the Beef & Broccoli was very nicely velveted, (tenderized) and the broccoli is par-cooked just as it should, and not mushy? The chicken Thigh meat is also nicely tenderized, with mushrooms in a tasty sauce. The mixed vegetables includes large Bok Choy, and sliced zuchinni. All in all, I Super recommend you try them! Their ortions are a real value, for the price indeed! The only small glitch was on the part of the Doordash driver. He let some sauce spill inside the bag..not all the sauce tbough? We Tried Dragon Express today and it did not disappoint. This place has been on our bucket list for sometime now and we are so happy we finally got try them. The place was majorly packed--which makes sense because it's clearly a local favorite with lots of regulars coming in. We ordered the plate B with white steamed rice and double orange chicken. Though they did not give the double order of chicken, they mixed up our entrees and gave me the sesame chicken. Then we ordered Plate C with honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and sesame chicken. Also came with half fried rice and chow mein. He got my order of orange chicken and they gave me his sesame chicken. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were huge!!!! Large enough to provide several meals worth of leftovers. The restaurant itself is not super huge and similar to other style restaurants. Overall, this is a great spot whether you're a regular or just passing through. If you have seen it on social media, it's worth the drive to check out. This place is a 9/10. read more

The portions are HUGE. This food was SO yummy. Very flavorful. We loved it! The chowmein was honestly perfect. The orange chicken taste like 'authentic' orange chicken. The teriyaki chicken is so good, a little dry. The sesame chicken was also good, and so was the BBQ pork! I would definitely recommend this place. Went to Dragon Express for the very first time today and boy, I was shocked -- in a good way. It's a corner suite in a strip mall type of location in East Las Vegas. If you're looking for a big sign that says "Dragon Express", you're gonna miss it. Just look for the words "Chinese Fast Food". As you go in, it's like you're transported to a less branded Panda Express. Same lay out and food vessels and all. I went there right before lunch time so it wasn't as crowded as I thought. I was picking up a few plates and as soon as the gentleman plopped the chow mein in the to-go box, my eyes widened due to the sheer amount of food he placed. I even stopped him midway to let him know that I'm getting a combo plate and not just a plate of chow mein. He smiled and said "I know". I felt like such a noob at that point that I apologized to him and told him that it was my first time there. With three combo plates completed and as I head out of the restaurant, I realized the bag felt like it was about 10lbs (it probably was!). Came home and opened the containers and my assumptions were correct. Each plate was about 3lbs of food! Chow mein covered more than half the container, teriyaki chicken filled the rest and then some, then salt and pepper shrimp atop that. Personally, I requested for all veggies instead of the chow mein and fried rice. They had to cook it to order which was nice and much better option if you're trying to cut down on carbs. Overall, this place is great if you have a large family or just really hungry and prefer to spend on low-budget meals. For two entrees with chow mein and fried rice (Plate B) it's only $10.29!! I knocked down 1 star since some of the dishes were a bit oily and some lacking in flavor/salt. It's not a deal breaker, but it didn't wow me enough to give 5 stars. Outside- Situated at a mall's corner across the street from a free standing Panda Express-clean, organized, and fast. Staff- Alert, friendly, professional, and quick. Ambiance- Fast paced take-out, clean, well-lit, and organized. Food- Fresh, plentiful, generous, and delicious . -choice of rice, noodles, or both -entrees: choice of 1,2, or 3 Favorites- *Sesame chicken-tastes like sweet & sour with pretty sesame seeds as garnish *Broccoli beef-broccoli still had some crunch while absorbing all that delicious sauce; beef was flavorful & tender *mushroom chicken-plenty of veggies (button mushrooms, zucchini, and onions with the perfect texture) and dark meat chicken Pro-tip: 1-eat off hours 2-there's always a line; even off hours (3-5 people ahead of you) 3-go with a friend (one person look at the items while the other stand in line) 4-These orders are generous servings; we each had 2-3 meals from each of our orders I look forward to coming back. read more
Ordered through Grub Hub, packed nicely and delivered quickly. The plates were both fully packed with generous portions and amazing flavors! The Mongolian beef was smoky and spicy but very flavorful. The honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken was crispy and crunchy. The amazing seasonings of the beef and broccoli paired well with the fried rice and chow mein noodles. The noodles were cooked and I could taste the lack of msg seasonings compared to other similar restaurants. This is definitely our new favorite spot! The churros and sugar donuts are deep fried and melt in your mouth. Thank you for the great service, ambiance and amazing food! And for being so close to our apartment! read more
Panda Express can't tough this spot, took my mom here for lunch and we both loved it, huge portions, quality food and lovely people. The honey walnut shrimp was the absolute best and I asked for a bed of broccoli instead of noodles or rice and the vegetables were cooked perfectly with lots of garlic. My sister and I were in the area and I've been wanting to try this place out. I got the orange chicken (I originally wanted teriyaki chicken but was given that) , sesame chicken and Beijing beef then a small side of bbq pork to try. Overall the food was good. Would I drive back to get it again? No. Unless I'm in the area and craving that greasy, cheap/good Chinese food, I would come back! Everything was flavorful and not as salty as I was expecting. I did order cream cheese ragoons & the chicken egg roll and those were delicious! read more

There's a line, but with how fast and efficient they are with helping customers and keeping food stocked on the line, there's no debating on staying in line or not because you will miss out if you decide to not wait! They do not skip on portions here! It's pretty much a restaurant that'll remind you of Panda Express, but my wife found this place off of instagram and it lives up to its hype. Your plate will be full and honestly, we loved the food better than Panda Express. More options to choose from and some dishes are considered more fresh than Panda Express. Like I noticed their honey walnut shrimp, which is my favorite at panda, is breaded there and the flavor is way better. We will definitely be choosing this place if we want Chinese quickly. It's not a big restaurant, there are tables to sit, seems like it's a great grab n go . Excited to try more of this place! read more
Overrated! Saw this online on some social media and we drove all the way 25 mins out to try this and let me tell you it's not even worth it. Yes they give out a good a mount of portion but honestly food was bland we liked China one or China a go go way better taste wise. This places gives us Panda Express flavors. The walnut shrimp is better at panda for sure. We waited in line for like 20 mins but yeah it's not something we will go back for. We had plenty of food leftover and pretty much went in the trash because it wasnt something we want to eat the next day. Only giving it 2 stars because the charsui pork was actually ok. Went here on a Friday, there was a really long line to order. But the line moved and maybe took 30min to order. The service was fast though ones you start ordering. This definitely reminds me of chinese fast food in socal which is nice to have in vegas and the food was actually good. The best part was the price because it was definitely cheaper than panda and they're generous with the serving. I live at southwest so this location is kinda far but, I would still come back cos like I said they're food tastes good. read more

I saw this many times on social media. I got curious if it's worth it and if it's worth driving all the way to the North East approximately 35 minutes to drive from my side ( South West ). So we got there and there is long line. The place was small and a bit messy. We waited for 45 to 50 minutes. We ordered a lot to try all the food. As you can see in the pictures... 7 Plate B and large wonton soup cost $99. Is this really worth it? The answer is absolutely NOT!!!!! The food was too greasy and tasted bland. The wonton soup is very disappointing because it's only 3 pieces of wonton and it costs $9.99!!!! This is so sad! Never again. read more

If you're looking for Chinese fast food in the eastside of Las Vegas, look no further. Dragon express is the place to get your craving fixed. Plenty of parking, freshly cooked food by Chinese cooks. Their combos come in big portions and I'm not even exaggerating. You get polite service, amazing tasty food and the atmosphere feels welcoming. Might I add, they're not greedy with sauces. lol stop on by and check the place out yourself. read more
