Found this place on a whin and in so happy i did! Pho is EXCELLENT. I loved the broth, good sized portions & great service! I had the Pho with steak and brisket and the spring rolls - both were delicious!

Pho with Rare Steak on the side.

Food: Menu with variety of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. I had the Pho noodle trying out the broth. Broth lacking flavor. If you like medium rare steak, order slice of steak on the side instead on in broth when served. Service: good staff Ambience: not too compact; good spacings for conversations while dining

This is one of the best places I've been to. The people there are very nice and prepare your food as soon as possible . Also, you can't beat the flavor. It's extremely good. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

It's probably the best pho you can get east of nellis . They are pretty quick to seat you and take your order. I usually come for the pho, fresh spring rolls, chicken wings, steak and rice, and the coconut slush. These are my favorite items off the menu. The restaurant can cater to big groups as well. This is my go-to pho spot when I don't feel like driving to China town.

We happened upon this locals restaurant when our son looked up well rated places near Sunrise Mountain. It did not disappoint. The portions were huge and the food was fabulous. Som got orange chicken, which was sweet and tangy, and my husband and I each got chicken and veggie meals - his also came with pork, beef, and fat rice noodles. We also got fresh rolls with chicken, and they were excellent. Service staff had a lot of tables to wait on so getting our water refilled was tough, but otherwise everyone was friendly and the food was fabulous. Highly recommend!

We've been coming to this place for a while it's close to home. It's about 10 minutes away. We tried other places, but we're not satisfied. This place is definitely 10 out of 10. We got number 28 large our server was very nice. He was accommodating the environment. It's so peaceful and chill. Pho was 10 out of 10 I would say that the spring rolls were kinda bland, but the sauce was good. Place is amazing service is very good. Food is delicious and portion size is big.

We ordered pho and it was delicious. They have good portion sizes with lots of meat. Tasty broth. The service is very friendly and the dining area is large. Good ambiance. Will definitely come back

This place has some really good pho! The broth was flavorful and rich, and the portions were generous. Everything tasted fresh, and the service was friendly. Definitely coming back when I'm craving pho again.

Food is good but what kills it is the customer service we ask to seat on the corner tables cause we were 6 and the chairs are more comfortable cause I have a back problem and they wouldn't allows to seat even though the restaurant was not even full honestly the buss girl the one with red shirt was nicer and even felt bad when the waitress or the person who takes the order told her not seat us there the person who was in charge was not very nice

Beef tri tip and tendon pho.

Pho was really good, and the appetizers were really good too. The service was on point, but again it wasn't on a busy day. But I am coming back to try some other dishes.

Empty bowl because it was that good

I love pho is such a good spot even tho it's nowhere near Asian hot spots near spring mountain it's delicious and authentic. I have to treat myself to this place as often as I can and whatever calls for celebration im like I love pho would hit rn. Personally have only had the chicken wings with the f dat b**** Pho dac biet But this is a must have! Employees are great and constantly come to check up and bring stuff to you ASAP

I order a banh mi, I am used to going to Chinatown (Spring mountain) and for the price it's not worth it, the price is the same as other restaurants but half the size, I normally share with my son but this was smaller, not much flavor and the spring rolls where like burritos but flavorless, maybe their soups are good but haven't tried them.

China Mama on Spring Mountain was an absolute jewel of a discovery!…read moreThis was our first visit while searching for a great Chinese restaurant here in Las Vegas, and we were extremely impressed. The menu is very reasonably priced, with generous selections and excellent value. We ordered the crispy beef, and it was absolutely fantastic--crispy, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The hot and sour soup was beyond belief, packed with flavor and easily one of the highlights of our meal. We also shared the vegetable fried rice, which was amazing. My wife normally doesn't enjoy Chinese food nearly as much as I do, but even she couldn't stop raving about how delicious the fried rice was. That alone says a lot! Overall, we had a wonderful experience: excellent food, affordable prices, a great neighborhood Chinatown atmosphere, and fantastic service. For anyone in Las Vegas who loves great Chinese food, I would absolutely recommend giving China Mama a try before looking elsewhere. Thank you to the entire team. We will definitely be back!

Seated…read moreimmediately, with lots of locals around woldind down big bowls of soup, we had high hopes based on the reviews. Our hopes were dashed when we discovered this is an over-hyped over-priced place that charges $1.50 extra for a skimpy single little bowl of white rice with their entrees. Server was very disinterested and not conversational, all business and rushed. A different server helped us each time, none more pleasant than the first. They are very busy and take no time for social niceties. We elected not to order drinks although they do have sake. Entree choices were Kung Pao Chicken ($18) and Stir fried Green beans ($16) add chicken ($5). The Kung Pao Chicken was acceptable, a traditional preparation but with very few veggies. The sauce was a bit sweet and appropriately spicy. The stir fried green beans were dry and bland with zero sauce. The sauteed chicken was cut in tiny pieces and over browned and dry like the green beans. I order this dish frequently in other Chinese restaurants, and find most chefs put a little sauce on at the end for flavor and texture. That is not the case here. Bland, naked and dry. So disappointing , we drove twenty minutes to try this place based on the reviews. Writing today to warn others all is not as it seems. Maybe you will have better luck than we did at China Mama on Jones.

The business manager responded to my review, and unfortunately, the response made my experience…read morewith this restaurant even more disappointing. He was defensive and passive-aggressive, with several clearly sarcastic/dismissive lines. To clarify, I ordered crispy beef and egg fried rice for pickup. I understand that fried food can lose its crispiness during takeout, which is why I didn't make a huge issue out of the beef being soggy. My bigger issue was the egg fried rice. What I received was essentially white rice with pieces of egg. When I mentioned that it looked and tasted nothing like the egg fried rice pictured on their online ordering site, the business manager responded that he wasn't sure what else they were supposed to put in egg fried rice besides "eggs and white rice." although the site clearly shows green onions. He also suggested that I order the house combo if I wanted more ingredients. That's not really the point--I ordered egg fried rice, not a house combo, and expected the item to resemble what was advertised. As for the soup, I understand that it is hot and sour soup, not sweet and sour soup. My review was about the fact that I personally found the taste unpleasant, not that I expected it to be sweet and sour. The response also suggested that my crispy beef became soggy because of the time between pickup and eating. However, I picked it up, drove approximately three minutes back to the hotel, and ate it immediately. I had also already waited past my original pickup time because the order was pushed back. I don't expect every restaurant to be perfect, and I understand that takeout food can differ from dining in. What bothered me more was the response to legitimate criticism. Rather than acknowledging the discrepancy between what was advertised and what I received.

From looking at the reviews and menus of many places, this seemed to be the most authentic, then when I walked in, saw the sites, smelled the smells, and saw the others dining inside, I knew I selected the right place. The guy working was helpful and gave good info on the menu and ingredients they use in various dishes, which was great. We started with their garlic cucumbers and they were fantastic! Such great flavor, really fresh, and sooo tasty!! We then got their Sautéed cabbage with dry chili pepper - This dish was outstanding! Such great flavor and the cabbage leaves were so fresh. Highly recommend this one!! Lastly, I tried their Chicken with Red and Green Pepper, because our server said it was really spicy. It was definitely spicy, but lacked depth of flavor, which was disappointing, as I was undecided between this and their chili oil beef.... Guess I should've gotten the beef. I wish they would have had some cumin options, but not the toothpick cumin lamb, not sure what that's all about, because I don't want each bite to have to be slid off a toothpick. Overall - very nice Szechuan style food here... If you want a good, authentic Chinese experience, come here!
