I noticed that one of the lady had dropped some of the chicken on the ground and threw it back on the plate as if it never touched the ground. Absolutely disgusting. I've also heard from an old friend who had worked there- she's told me that the cooks had picked the wontons with their bare hands. I almost threw up! We are new in the area, so we call (at 7:58pm) to make sure they delivered to our house, they said "yeah yeah yeah 8 minutes away". So we order online, place the order at 8:11pm. 30 minutes later we got a confirmation that at that point "estimated time delivery 70 minutes " so we're expecting the delivery at 9:24p. At that point we're falling asleep at the couch waiting for the delivery, I decided to call and cancel the delivery at 9:50pm, after I said that we ordered a delivery and we want to cancel it, she said " okay I got it". Got home all the way in palm harbor only to notice the Crab Rangoon, Fried Wontons and Spring Rolls were way over cooked burnt and dry as hell. I guess they need a lesson on the art of Chinese foods. It's been a while since I've ordered from China 1. I ordered Krab (they spell it with a 'K') Rangoon and Sesame Beef. The Rangoon was very good, and the Sesame Beef was the best I have EVER tasted! Quick delivery! Really amazingly quick. The Mongolian Beef was great, but I never have had green peppers in it before. All the other flavors were spot on & the beef was tender. I would not recommend the fried dumplings. The frying somehow lost the flavor of the dumplings. I think they would have been much better steamed, I can only guess on this one. The krab ragooon was fried nice & crisp. The filling was on the meager side & the Krab wasn't apparent. Typically I love the appetizers & the entree is secondary. Here it was the oppasie, the apitizers were a let down & the entree, though unusual, was the best part of the meal. I will give them an extra * for offering brown rice. Of course it cost more ( really, what is cheaper than rice?), but I don't eat white rice so it was good to see it offered. What's a girl to do? Two stars- we bought over $60 worth of food, yet they refused to give me a sauce cup of real soy sauce. I bet they spill more than a tiny cup of soy within the first half of the day passing. Chinese restaurants get soy sauce by the literal bucket. We didn't get chop sticks, silverware or napkins- Kind of sucks if you're in a hotel! Everything fried was delicious, but American Chinese fried food is not hard to make delicious. I really like this restaurant. They quickly answer the phone, quickly make your meal, it is freshly made and they are busy all the time. Yes, I know they are a Chinese Take-out restaurant. They serve the same "Chinese " food as a thousand other similar places. And this is why they get 4 stars. But they get a solid 4 stars. The food is fresh. Cooked properly. And ready to go when you enter the restaurant. The counter staff is always nice and helpful. Being that they are busy, they can come across curt or short, but taking that in stride, they are still nice and helpful. Its take out. And they rock it out. We get the steamed dumplings, the various Lo-mein dishes and Meifun. I will venture out occasionally and order a "spicy" dish. I love spicy food and it isn't that spicy. It would be nice if they would have a "Star" or "Heat" rating so one can order more appropriate seasoning. But hey, it's take out and they rock it out. The delivery time was approximately half an hour after I ordered which is it totally acceptable. 45 minutes later I called the restaurant to find out where my order was. They did not know I had ordered. They had not checked their online service but they started cooking then it would be there shortly I was told. OK. Half an hour later, I called again to find out where my food was and was told five minutes. OK. Well five minutes later my food did arrive. Cold. I'm only giving this a one due to the fact that the delivery guy was super nice. Yesterday I ordered a house lo mein a lo mein without any meat and a beef and broccoli.... I am working 12-hour days and I don't have time to cook..... What was delivered to me was to beef and broccoli and a lo mein..... So yesterday I was in a rush and I ate the one beef and broccoli it had three little pieces of beef in it that was it so I thought I'd let it slide then today I opened the other beef and broccoli zero beef all broccoli I called and the lady there got very loud with me and asked why I did not call yesterday when I got the order I told her that I didn't even open the order till last night and I was going to let it slide that I got to be from broccolis but today with no beef at all in the one beef and broccoli I wasn't going to let that slide and she was like what do you want me to do about it well let me tell you something I will never patronize this restaurant ever again and I'm going to tell all my friends never to patronize it read more

I never lean towards writing negative reviews but couldn't believe what just happened. I have ordered food from here a good few times, ordered $130 worth of food for the family tonight. Got home and realized the box was missing 2 orders of krab Rangoon. ( the least expensive thing we ordered nonetheless). Called and they said it was in the box, and that they had put it in. telling me to double check the box which I told them didn't have it multiple times already, check the car the whole nine. Told them flat out after a while of this, and they basically either implied we were lying and/or it wasn't their problem and being extremely rude over the phone. Couldn't believe I had just spent over a hundred dollars and they couldn't do right and make 2 orders of krab Rangoon. Huge portions, great value, nice people, great flavor and incredibly fast. Only thing missing is a delivery service, however it's well worth the drive. I live in St. Petersburg and have family in the area, sometimes I plan an unscheduled visit just for an excuse to grab some China 1. In fact, if my family moves I may not visit them as much lol.
