Several months ago, we had stopped using China Express because it seemed that the quality of the food had gone down while the prices had increased. Yesterday, we gave them another try for take out and delivery. The delivery was fast, the Food was EXCELLENT, fairly priced, good quantities, and they even filled a separate bag with lots of fortune cookies and sauces. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! read more

I've lived in the area for 10 years and love the food AND the customer service. If you order from them with any regularity (like once a week), they tend to remember how you like your food. One time I forgot to ask for red sauce with the food I ordered and it was in the bag when they delivered it (this was about 4 years in). I'm not saying they're mind readers or that they'll be able to do the same for you - I'm just saying their customer service has always been very good to me. My favorites are the fried jumbo shrimp, BBQ Spare Ribs on bone, General Tso's Chicken, Four Seasons and Beef and Mushrooms. I've eaten a lot of their ribs and have never had a problem. I also let the inevitable grease drip off before I start in on them. The best part of ordering from this restaurant (which you can do online now! - www.hudsonchinaexpress.com) is you can order extra meat if you like more in your dish. For example, I have a choice of ordering an extra $1 or $2 of beef for my beef and mushrooms (I usually get the extra $1). You can get General Tso's Chicken without the spice in it if you don't like spicy food - just put the comment "NO SPICE please" in the box at the bottom of that item. The good part of ordering online is you can put the tip in the order so all you have to do is sign the receipt when they bring it to you. I gave them 5 stars because they are a good business and their employees have always been good to me. This is not upper end "foodie" fare, this is your traditional Chinese Food restaurant you'd find in any residential area across America. GREAT. My new spot for chinese food. I was a little skeptical because of the reviews but we have it a try and i loved it. Huge portions, flavorful, just great. Fast and they deliver. We live about 17 minutes away from the place so we thought they wouldn't deliver, but they did and their fee for delivery is only $1.50 which is amazing. Lady told me 45 to 50 minutes and i got my food delivered to my house, fresh and steaming hot in under 40 minutes. They gave me tons of sauces, i definitely forgot to ask for them but no worries. I ordered the Mongolian Beef, hugeeeee portion but it was absolutely amazing, and flavorful and i got leftovers out of it. My father got the chicken wings and pork fried rice, the chicken was crisp and it was not greasy like a lot of places. Great experience, will definitely be ordering again. read more

Just got done eating the food we had delivered. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. The chicken was dry, it was obvious it had been sitting around a while. The egg-rolls had a strange taste to them, almost like plastic or whatever it was reheated in, they certainly weren't fresh. It's like when a sandwich is in a plastic bag for a while and you can taste the plastic, it was like that. Or when you cook something on a cheap griddle and you can taste the griddle. The sweet and sour sauce was not like any sweet and sour sauce I've ever had, just not... right. Can't really explain it. The noodles were good but I can taste that same plastic taste, or whatever they are heating their food in. I tried this place because they deliver but I'm going to stick with my regular place where I pick up and everything is fresh, hot and doesn't have a strange taste from whatever they are cooking or heating the food in. That taste, it is super strong and can't be good. If I can literally taste whatever it is being heated in or cooked in, I don't want any part of that but that's just me. read more
