There were boxes everywhere, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was horrible. It was dirty. I saw a woman handling frozen egg rolls with her bare hands, stacking them on top of each other without any gloves. The place just felt unclean. I can't comment on the quality of the food because I ended up throwing it away.

I decided to give it another try and ordered the house special fried rice to go. Everything was fine, but nothing really stood out or made me want to rush back. I've heard some really good reviews about this place, so maybe I just had different expectations. I have to admit, I'm also comparing it to the Chinese food I'm used to getting up North. I truly miss that style of Chinese food--and even the pizza! There's just something about the flavors and quality that I haven't been able to find here. Spring Hill has quite a few Chinese food options, but in my opinion, the quality just isn't the same as what I was used to up North. There are plenty of choices, but finding one that really stands out can be a challenge. Overall, Double Yummy is an okay Chinese restaurant. Nothing was bad about my experience, but nothing was particularly memorable either. I may try something different next time, but for now, I'm still searching for that Chinese food that reminds me of home.
