My daughter and I decided to try China KING for lunch and we're very pleased that we did. We were greeted by very nice people. There are only three picnic size tables in China KING, which is fine. Everything was clean and I believe they do a lot more business with pick up and delivery. Our waitress came out. We placed an order paid for it and the thing that kinda bothered me was that you had to pay for it before you got your food and they asked you to put a tip on it before you even ate your food. But we were very pleased we had to Boba teas I had general sales and my daughter had the chicken and broccoli with yellow rice. We got the lunch size which was still a great deal of food. It was enough to take home and have for dinner. We were very pleased and this is one of the better oriental places to eat. We will definitely go back to China KING. read more

Friendly counter service, only reason for not being two stars. This is very much a carry out place, there are a few tables but only plastic forks/spoons. I had lunch special, general Taos chicken. My wife had lunch special cashew chicken. Both dishes, the chicken was tough and mine was mostly breading. The egg rolls were so, so. This was my first trip here. I called ahead for a fairly large pick up order and they had everything ready for me at the time given. The staff was polite and even three in a free drink because of our large order. The food was hot and tasted great. Meal portions are good size so you wont go hungry. In my humble opinion STAY AWAY!!! I ordered a poo poo platter pork fried rice and hot and sour soup. I didn't misspell pu pu platter. The website's menu said contents should have been egg roll, crab ragoon, fried shrimp, chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki and spare ribs. I received shrimp spring roll, fried shrimp, spare ribs beef skewers, fried chicken wings and some triangle shaped things. The triangle things golden on 1 side burnt on the other. I broke 1 open it was mushy inside I have no clue what are. The fried shrimp look like coasters there was so much breading. The spare ribs were fine. The beef on the stick I presume was supposed to be teriyaki did not taste like it and tough!! The chicken wings were dry. Did not receive chicken teriyaki crab rangoon or the fried crab stick!! The hot and sour soup was good and the fried rice didn't contain any egg or green onions tasted good. I called to complain and and was told the menu online was not their menu. Because of several bad meals I had stopped frequenting this restaurant for a few months. Decided to try them again last week and the food was back to its previous good quality and taste. Yay! However, I tried them again this week and the vegetables were perfectly cooked but had zero flavor even though I had ordered them in spicy garlic sauce. I will start with what I liked then report what I didn't. Friendly and fast service. Appears to be clean. Prices are good. I really liked the House Special Friend rice. Lots of good stuff in it and very tasty. Egg roll was ok. Not the best or the worst I've had. Now their garlic sauce was awful. Tasteless and extremely greasy. Will I come back? Probably. I certainly won't get anything with garlic sauce and since that's my favorite thing in Chinese food, I doubt it will be very often. read more

This Chinese place was "great" and that's a lot coming from someone who typically does not go out and buy Chinese food often. Tso chicken was great, with beef lo mane. General's chicken was all batter- not a trace of chicken! House rice was very bland. Pork and Broccoli- the broccoli was good. We're recent transplants from up North and I know we were spoiled with amazing food, but this, and every other Chinese place we've tried so far has been lousy. read more

We tried three Chinese carry outs near us. We ordered Mongolian beef, fried rice, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and wonton soup (at two). All were good and each was better at individual items. China King was the first and they had the best Mongolian beef. This was the most expensive (without the wonton soup), but we ordered À la carte. They have some attractively priced specials. We decided this was good and we would try again. Next was China 1. This was slightly misplaced on the map, it is next to Publix. This was the least expensive, even with the wonton soup. The Mongolian beef seemed a little burned. But the crab Rangoon and fried rice were clearly the best of all. The New China Restaurant was next. The egg rolls and wonton soup were very good and the Mongolian beef had plenty of vegetables. The fried rice was OK. We judged China 1 to be the best and will be returning there. We'll be trying different entrees. The other two are fine, and we may use them again. We're rating China 1 one star above the others, but not quite perfect. read more

I ordered 3 general TSO chicken combos. There was absolutely NO chicken, it was all batter! All 3 of us literally went through it with our hands and picked each piece apart and came out with 6/7 strings about the width of a piece of spaghetti. They don't offer delivery so we had to go pick it up. When I called to tell them, all I got offered was another order, but I would have to go out again and pick it up. We will never never never go back. I told her don't bother because we have no appetite now. If it had been one order I would have thought," oh maybe it was just an accident". Do not go to this restaurant, along with the food being awful, they almost, I take it back they did poison my wife. We asked when we ordered the vegetable fried rice if it was made near any shellfish and they said no. So when my wife started eating the fried rice she saw a shrimp in the food and within a few minutes started to itch and swell up. So immediately she took some Benadryl and within an hour the swelling and itching went down. I got the pupu platter and the food was uneatable, so along with throwing the fried rice away we threw out mine. read more

We have gotten take out from here for many years. It is always good! The waiting area is nothing special but the staff is friendly, the orders are always correct, and the food tastes really good. As far as Chinese food goes, this restaurant is pretty good. Have eaten here 3 times and all times the food was good. The wait staff take their time preparing our food, as they should. My experience has been that I'd rather be there a little longer and have it prepared well than to rush in and out and get buffet quality food. You wouldn't think this place has great food, because it looks just like a China Express. The name is even confusing. But walk in the door, and you can smell the fact that this place is the real thing. Everything that I had (egg foo young, lo mein, orange beef, fried rice) was as good as I've had in NY - but this is FL! it topped my other place on Ridge, in flavor, and price. China King is my go-to take out favorite in the Hudson area. Always consistent, with excellent lunch and dinner combos. Favorite items are fried dumplings, moo shi, lo mein, shrimp with mixed veg and beef with broccoli. Also Bourbon chicken is the most bang for your buck. Always have great leftovers, usually enough for multiple meals. Food is cooked to order, usually about 10-15 min., very fresh tasting. I like that they recognize me/my name when I call. It's not much to look at, with a spartan 'dining' area, but is clean and well stocked with standard condiments. read more
