There's even a small shop inside selling teas, clothing, and gifts, which was fun to browse. We sat on the outdoor patio, which was a great spot for people-watching and enjoying the atmosphere. The food was delicious, although unfortunately, it came out cold. The chilaquiles were really good and was a huge portion. I also ordered a matcha latte, but it was cold when it arrived. I asked them to warm it up, and although they brought it back warmer, it still wasn't really hot. The service was also a little slow, but the atmosphere and overall experience were so fun that I'd still recommend checking it out.

For nearly our entire trip to CDMX, we were plagued by rain, but on this morning, the rain was holding off so we opted to sit in the Backyard's lovely outdoor space. The most exciting part of my meal was my pumpkin spice latte. Please see my image for reference. They served it in a tiny pumpkin. I'm easily delighted, but this takes the cake. So adorable and even more than that, super warm and comforting. The staff was lovely and we ended our meal just as it began to rain, so perfect timing.

Eve award: best bar in the world (the 50 best bar people should've officially kept it there 2025 to 2026) Highlights: - Cocktails: all were top notch and delightfully balanced - Willy Wonka style magic: peanut butter and jelly and Cookie Monster as examples. Incredible to have these liquids taste like their namesakes--but not in a super sweet but smooth quality way. Pb and j came with a crazy white chocolate rendition of the sandwich and Cookie Monster their own version of an Oreo - Olive oil tequila gimlet: never would normally order this but it was delightful. Almost a butterscotch taste and a nice large green olive sitting at the bottom. - Whiskey cocktail: short was clarified and lovely - Staff: world class, top notch, could not imagine any better. Highly skilled, professional, welcoming, and fun. My niece had a few sips left in her martini drink and they transferred it to a newly chilled glass. I've never seen that done before and it was so classy. - Vibe: perfection. Classy, comfortable, and fun. Lightening was perfect: dark enough for mystery but light enough you could see.
