We stumbled across TruLē and decided to check it out since we both love Boba/tea. The inside was small, but super cute. They have two self ordering kiosks when you walk in & you can also order at the counter. It was very clean and bright inside as well. I asked for a custom version of one of their existing teas and they were gladly able to make it for me! I asked for a mango peach green tea. My mom got a mango strawberry smoothie and we were both super satisfied with your drinks. Their green tea brew is some of the best I've had, it was light but had a great floral taste to it as well. The next time I'm in Lombard I'm sure stopping at TruLē will be one of the stops from now on.

So, I later got a small black coffee which was excellent and didn't taste too strong. A variety of dessert options and meat pastries. I was torn between tres leches milk cake or the pistachio. I got the pistachio which was yummy. Just what I needed to feel satisfied without it being too sweet. I spent about 4 hours studying while enjoying my drinks. I would definitely return especially since they stay open to 1am. A late night cozy Tea Cafe experience worth having. I wondered if they dimmed the lights as it gets later? Lol

They have a small set of games that can be used for social time with friends and the setup with distinctly different areas allows for patrons to enjoy different vibes depending on where they sit. As for the drinks, I love the use of actual fresh fruit in the smoothies, which is distinct for anyone who has been disappointed by powders and syrups elsewhere. The other drinks are also made with high quality ingredients and allow for sugar and ice levels to be changed as needed. The prices are very good for the Chicago suburbs and the sizes are generous (especially the Extra Large!). In addition to smoothies, they also carry a selection of teas, cheese tops, fruit teas, tea lattes, flavored yakult, milkshakes, and more. This is one of the spots that you can find authentic Asian flavor combinations that you only expect to see in Chinatown, Schaumburg, or Naperville. Overall, one of my favorite bubble tea spots in the area and definitely worth a visit if you're nearby.
