    Milk tea slushie/smoothie with tapioca
    Cindy G.

I always come here for the green milk tea and ask for half sweet and add coffee jelly. Today I wanted to try the milk tea smoothie/slushie with tapioca.I asked for less sugar. I feel like she could put less sugar/ syrup but I didn't drink it right away so the ice melted and even out the sweetness. This place uses milk tea powder which I am not a big fan of. Aside from Noodles Pho You that sells boba drinks, this is the only place that have decent/ok boba drinks (obviously , can't compare to Chinatown's boba drinks!) No wait today so that's a plus! Also, this is in Yorktown mall. Free parking and food court is upstairs. Price is decent. I got an original size for $4.13 . I do like the container/ sealed cup so it won't spill when I leave it in my purse. If I ever crave for a boba drink, I will stop by.

I'm really happy that this time when I went to Chill Bubble Tea there were two employees working - one making drinks and another taking orders. It made the process quicker so you don't have 4-5 people waiting on their drink. Therefore I'm a fan of Chill Bubble Tea. I got the Milk Tea, MangoDew & Mocha Bean and they were all fantastic just like last time. The Milk Tea is one of my favorites that is for sure. I hope the trend of two employees working at once carries on to get customers in and out and happy with their beverage. The Tapioca today was perfect whereas my first visit it was very chewy - but today it was perfect. I am a happy Customer.

Honestly, the drinks here are good and the creations on the menu are fairly creative. But why oh why is there never more than one person working? I know it's not super busy but that one employee has to take orders, fix the food, clean the blenders, go to the back for whatever, clean the counter, etc etc etc. maybe two employees would have too much downtime but one employee sure seems stressed out.

I can tell this place isn't authentic at all lol. I ordered a Taro tea, and it was literally fluorescent purple and tasted like grapes. Not good at all

I soooo love thai tea! This place is soo good the only thing is its hidden its hard to find unless you've been here many times. Thai tea with tapioca is the best!

Yummy milk tea and passion fruit slush. I wish they put more boba. Next time we better order extra. This place is a small stall inside the Yorktown mall and there's no seating.

Best part about the tea,... The boba. Chewy and soft. The milk tea tasted like powdered chocolate milk. Had a strange aftertaste. Disgrace!

Ventured into the mall just to try Chill. First time so had to stick with basics, boba milk tea. Was I ever disappointed. Knew I was in trouble when the drink was made in 40 secs and from powder. Powdered tea? Tasted like chocolate milk with an artificial sweeteners aftertaste. Strangest taste. Where's the tea? Perhaps I've been spoiled from Toronto. Usually an individual serving of freshly pressure brewed tea made to order and mixed with cream and boba goodness. Nothing like it! No powder involved. And... Priced the same. But at Chill? Still can't figure out what I got. The 2 stars are for the beverage's saving grace, the boba. Soft and chewy. Good job. But as for the non tea milk tea want to be... a true disgrace.

So College class got cancelled, decided to treat myself

The most Shmackkkk Boba Tea I've ever had! Thank God College class was cancelled and I went to go purchase this amazing, delicious treat!

The ladies working here are so sweet and always get it right! I swear I come here 3-4 times a week and they still remember me even after I left for college. Everything I have tried here has tasted incredible and the flavor/tapioca variety is unmatched! I prefer smoothies but the milk tea is super tasty too :)

Good selection of drinks but very impersonable service. But not bad if you're in the mall

I had a margarita on happy hour menu and it was tasty. For my entree, I got the chicken enchiladas. They were presented very nicely and very flavorful. I hear their brunch is also amazing as well.

I requested our group to be placed in a corner since we were dining in with 2 kids and an infant who would be sitting in a stroller. She had said they were fully booked and a different party needed the table I was eyeing since they would be coming in with 3 strollers. I was there from 9am-11am on a Friday and it was not packed nor did a family use the table I wanted while I was there. No one came in with 3 strollers either. Aside from that, I was trying to be helpful so the stroller wouldn't get in the way of customers and wait staff. The host basically made it harder for them, not me. I started with the hazelnut oat mocha and this was delicious. This was the highlight of my time there. For food I tried the Shakshouka and it was not good. The pouched eggs were not cooked. From my pictures - it looks like the eggs were cracked in the dish and the chef called it a day. I didn't chance eating it, I ate the pita it came with and left very hungry. I'm giving Beatrix a generous 2 due to the space being beautiful and my latte being great. Unfortunately this is not a spot I'll be returning to.

TL,DR * slow service…read more* overpriced * one worker was running the place by themselves * good taste at least Long version: I went into this place with high hopes based on their reviews. My food took over 30 minutes to be made. The food was good but it was $12 for a tiny bowl that fell apart when I opened it, way over priced for the amount received. I had to use the lid as a second bowl. Management should just order larger bowls. $1 upcharge for substitution of almonds instead of coconut. The poor worker was there all by herself with a line to the door. If they're understaffed the manager/owner should be helping but there was no manager on duty, which is why I'm writing this. They know they are understaffed. It's not fair to the worker to deal with poor management.

When we first started coming here, the base was blended so smooth, the granola was always fresh and tasty, and the ratio to acai blend vs toppings was great! My husband and I grabbed 2 bowls last night and these 2 were the worst ones we've had. I probably won't be back for a while. The consistency of the açaí bowl wasn't smooth. A little grainy and potentially too much ice mixed it. It barely had flavor. The granola was almost stale. It tasted like it was sitting out for a very long time uncovered. The ratio of smoothie to topping ratio was also terrible. It was like they filled the sides with acai mix, filled the center up with granola, it was very unpleasant. This was the first time my husband and I actually threw our bowls out, it was that bad. I do hope they get to how they used to. With the increased prices, they need to maintain quality, and quality has been severely lacking. I try to support my local businesses because I know it's not easy being forced to raise prices given this economy, but if you cut on quality you won't retain my business. Truly hoping this place changes!

I ordered a Goji Goji bowl, remove the blueberries, add extra goji berries, extra bananas and extra granola. When we arrived at the window, the young lady told us the amount and as I was grabbing my card she closed the window. It's cold outside, I understand, but unfortunately this adds to my negative experience. Then, the manager, an older lady, handed over my açaí bowl and closed the window. When I looked at the bowl, I only saw 4 slices of banana and a handful of the Gogi berries. I reached out to the window to inquire. When I stated, "Hi, I asked for extra Gogi berries" the manager states, "You have extra gogi berries ma'am, they are in the middle." I then said "I also asked for extra bananas." The manager then states, "those are extra bananas ma'am. You're looking right at them" I inquired again, "6 slices is extra?" The managers tone has now changed to one of annoyance and sarcasm when she says, "Would you like extra bananas ma'am?" I said "yes." When she arrives back to the window with my order, she proceeds to tell me that I substituted the blueberries for bananas. I let her know that I didn't ask for a substitution at all. The sarcasm, rashness and loose audacity leaves me appalled at the age of the woman and lack of grace she had in handling the situation. Instead of taking responsibility or using emotional intelligence, she felt the need to correct me with an attitude. This is not the reputation of the Smoothie King I know.

CONS: - The girl taking my order looked s o . b o r e d . - The Superbiotic Green Wrap I ordered kind of sucked. It was swimming (ugh) in cucumber dill dressing and the collard greens were soggy/chewy -- not crunchy and easy to eat. I ended up dumping the contents of the wrap out in a bowl and spooning it out instead. It was fine, but I wouldn't order it again. - My Lifesupport juice gave me the healthy boost I needed, but the banana taste was much stronger than I expected. I desperately wanted to love this place, especially after my friend raved about it and took me here, but I wasn't really impressed. She ordered the Pangoa bowl (without chicken) and it was good.
