Mango blended with tapioca 2/10 and brown sugar boba milk tea 4/10. Not recommended
    Aerielle G.

Being from SoCal I was extremely disappointed with drink quality at Boba Nova. Service was good, drinks were entirely too sweet despite changing the sweetness to 30%. My fiancé with a crazy sweet tooth also said this was too sweet that it was undrinkable. I hate waste but this is not something that can be consumed by us; headache from the amount of sugar came shortly after a few sips. The taste is entirely too artificial for the mango blended drink. The Milk Tea was better but you can find much better options around the suburbs. Consistency of the boba is also disappointing. I would never recommend this shop to anyone.

Went during the grand opening today and was very impressed with how fast the staff was able to make the orders! I've been to a multiple grand openings and this place had orders coming out so quickly that customers weren't waiting for long. Staff was also very friendly as well. We got the Strawberry Lime Mojito and Ube Lavender. I loved the mojito and my friend enjoyed the ube lavender. We also noticed regular sweetness on the order label. Not sure if we're able to adjust sweetness level but would've been a nice option. Also heard the mango blended wasn't as good from a friend who ordered.

Ordered the Peach mojito, Okiwana milk tea, and the mango green tea. The Peach mojito was really sweet ( should've gotten less sugar) and had a slight medicinal aftertaste. Not the best. I believe Mojitos should have sparkling water, but mine was flat. I'd rate it a 5/10. The Mango Green Tea was fine. Nothing amazing. Really can't taste the tea flavor and taste a lot like articulation mangos. It's a 7/10. The Okinawa Milk tea I got at 30% sugar but was still wayyy to sweet. Overall a 6/10. Not the best boba shop you can find in the area, but it'll do if you trying to get a quick boba fix. Just make sure to get less sugar

We got the original brown sugar milk tea with tapioca. It had the right amount of sweetness. Clean place. Staff was friendly and quick with service. Love the different menu options. Glad to have a boba tea place close to home. Will be stopping by more often!

It's fast casual and you'll see some kiosks/tablets to order once you walk in. We made our selection and then didn't have to wait too long before our freshly fried chicken sandos and fries were ready. I ordered a milk tea and a mini cup of chai just because I wanted to try everything. This place has five stars because of how freshly fried the food was. There is nothing better than biting into a fried chicken sandwich and the released steam is almost hazardous. I have a high heat tolerance, and this sort of thing cannot be re-created at home. Alas, we do not have an industrial deep fryer. We also ordered some fried pickles that came with a sauce. It's hard to hate something so delicious when it's deep fried, to be honest. Get your milk tea, chai, and fried chicken fix all at once place. I'm glad there is Chi Tea in the world, the people need this concept! Five stars.

Chicken loaded fries were good, but honestly as nice and crunchy as the fries were, I think next time I'll just get the fries alone. Chi sauce is a bit too spicy for me, but nice taste. Finally the Bubble Tea is amazing, a bit on the sweet side but amazing! All in all a great experience and definitely worth giving a try.

Bread could have been better, but not the worse. The crispy chicken was the star of the meal! I'll definitely have that again. Great crisp and flavor. I got it with Boom Boom sauce and it worked great. Fries were good, and so was the milk tea. The cinnamon sugar waffles though were a total let down: very dry. Extremely disappointing All in all, a good local option and will definitely order again.

I wasn't impressed with the bread itself but we all have our off days but it would probably have taken this to 5 stars. I also had couple of the waffles to go and this is where things kinda start falling apart a little and literally. They came on a stick but you couldn't really hold the stick up as the waffle was too heavy so I didn't understand the concept. It still had good flavor though. They Ube waffle was different but I didn't feel I tasted any "ube" like I am not sure it added anything except the color. I had the smoothie as well and that was very sweet and didn't taste natural so that I didn't like but I am sure others might. I definitely would have preferred a more natural smoothie. Inside the store its kinda cute for teens to hang out. So overall I recommend this place. Food : 4/5 Service: 4/5

One of Aurora's (Chicago Suburbs) Best Boba Tea Spots!…read more After traveling around the world and tasting boba from Taiwan to Singapore, I can confidently say that Vannie House in Aurora delivers some of the best tapioca pearls I've had in the U.S. The pearls are perfectly chewy, fresh, and absolutely on par with the quality I've experienced in top-tier Asian tea shops. One thing I really appreciate is the tapioca-to-drink ratio. Most boba shops either overload you with pearls or drown everything in too much liquid. Vannie House nails the balance, every sip and scoop feels intentional and well crafted. I tried several drinks on my visit: M9 (modified with Thai Tea) -- Smooth, flavorful, and extremely well blended. A3 Orange Peach with Black Tea -- Sweet, refreshing, and surprisingly layered in flavor. Hot Chai Tea -- Rich, warm, and incredibly smooth. Easily one of the best chai teas I've had at any boba shop. The interior decor is also a standout, clean, modern, cozy, and aesthetically designed. It's the kind of place you actually want to sit and enjoy your drink rather than rush out. Huge shoutout to Niko, whose recommendations were absolutely on point. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, exactly the kind of service that keeps you coming back. If you're in Aurora and looking for high-quality boba tea, Vannie House (my #47 Boba Tea Spot) is a must-try. I'll 100% be returning whenever I'm in the area.

The weird part was asking if i had a punch card and when i said no they didn't offer me one either? Either way, i got the taro strawberry smoothie and a hazelnut iced coffee. Neither of us enjoyed the drinks because they're very syrup heavy resulting in a drink that's wayyyyy too sweet. It just tastes like drinking concentrated syrup and powder blended/mixed with milk. Barely tasted any taro. Having some real ingredients like frozen strawberries with taro powder is what I'd expect at this price point. Not both ingredients being powdered and syrups. The tapioca itself was really good, soft and not too chewy. But there's just way too much of it, you're eating boba more than enjoying a drink. The brown sugar syrup that the boba sits in doesn't help with the additional sweetness in the drink. Wouldn't recommend for real drinks
