I've been to Chilispot probably 4x by now since discovering them and they are AMAZING!!! They are super legit and authentic! Best value too! They are super welcoming and delicious!!! They always greet you, in Mandarin (?), and I would respond back with "Ni Hao" to be nice and they thought we were Chinese and kept speaking to us in Chinese. The server probably was disappointed that we don't speak Chinese lol! But my Husband and I aren't Chinese at all. It was cute and funny at the same time. Anyway, they give you BIG portions of food! So much that it can feed you again another meal or 2. Our favorite dishes so far have been the following: Potstickers with a sweetened chili sauce pairing Chongqing Spicy Popcorn Chicken Chongqing Lomein Szehuan Style Boiled Fish in Chili Oil All dishes were flavorful, bold and scrumptious. Beware of the spice levels because the Boiled Sliced fish really got me sweating and begging for water. But don't let it scare you, they have non-spicy options. The potstickers dipping sauce made it taste so much better. I always go back to places based on their in-house made sauces and this one takes it. Their Spicy Popcorn chicken is so hot and spicy but can be cooled down with cold water or a cold noodle dish. Last Black Friday my friend and I went to Chilispot after a one-day trip to Universal studio. The location and environment is great. However, the restaurant had many people in the waitlists at this moment. They didn't accept reservation in advance. We arrived there at 5:30pm and didn't get a table until 6:30pm, which wasted a lot of time. Regarding to the food, I would say it's a good option for spicy and heavily-flavored food. This is our new favorite szechuan spot! The restaurant is located in the Publix shopping center on kirkman. The servers were very friendly and the orders came out swiftly. The waiters made off menu suggestions and were accommodating to the little ones who couldn't eat spicy. read more

Top notch Sichuan restaurant in Orlando! Came here on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised with the prompt service and stellar food. The fried fish with chilis and peppers was my favorite. I also enjoyed the boiling beef in chili oil. EHR flavors were authentic and definitely had the "ma la", which is the dull, numbing spice. Decided to check out this fairly new place. The modernly decorated restaurant is filled on this Sunday night. Spacious dining room. We didn't have to wait a long time for the food. May be we only ordered a bunch of appetizers and a couple of their desserts. Most of them are cold dishes. The spicy Szechuan dishes were not as spicy as I expected. Overall presentation is nice but nothing really stands out， except the dessert, fried rice cake in brown sugar. The outside was crispy and inside is chewy and soft. I have to give that a thumbs up. Felt a little funny when we had to order dishes from the menu which has no price listed. The restroom was not kept tidy and clean ... not sure if it was because it was towards the end of the night ... but I will suggest periodic spot cleaning. Great food! Loved every dish we ordered. Eggplant, fried rice, whole fish, shrimps. Everything was great. Small portion for reasonable price. So you can order many different dishes, which I loved! It's great to have an authentic Chinese style restaurant in this part of town. The menu selection is great and the food we ordered was delicious and tasted authentic. However, we took 1 star off because the cleanliness of plates and cups need work. One of our plates and both of our cups had dried stuck food. I'm sure they were washed, but were not scrubbed before going through the commercial dishwasher. Looking at the health department scores, there are a number of violations. Everything else was great, so I hope management will read this to put more effort into this area. Most restaurants are not perfect, but clean plates and cups should be a given every time. read more

It's new , it's different, it's delicious. Don't let the name or the bright lights scare you off. The bright lights add to the deliciousness. It presents a beautiful delight to see before you partake and savor the exceptionally well prepared and tastefully savoring array of texture,spice and fresh ingredients. This is restaurant 3 for them. For sure there will be more. It must be noted that most of the patrons were of Asian descent, if they are qualifiers to authenticity. Many of the dishes are spice, hence the name. But there are the standbys. We had the kung paw. Yes we continued to eat after we were full. It was tasty and not burning hot. Although there were a lot of red peppers. Separate them out as we did snd keep eating. The Pepper Beef is more to the restaurants specialty. Not spicy hot just spicy flavorful. We stopped by this restaurant for family dinner. Restaurant is clean. The food portion is big. Everything taste so good and our favorite for today is the Pork intestine. It's crispy and full of flavor. String bean is also great, crispy. Lo men is so so not much special. Egg plant with garlic sauce is great and can be eaten with lots of rice.
