Literally stellar food. This is the best Chinese food I've had outside of New York. The service is insanely fast and the quality for the money is awesome. This is not your gas-station Chinese restaurant - it's amazing quality food without having a crazy price tag. The restaurant is quaint and well lit. Great for parties or small groups alike. If I could give 10 stars I would. read more

Great service, super friendly staff. I asked for recommendations and they gave us a lot of recommendations. The food came out very quick. I wish the potato is more crispy. Overall a great place to get some spicy Sichuan food. read more

I must say I have found my favorite authentic Chinese style restaurant. We ordered spicy fish, green bean jelly and egg rolls. Very authentic taste. The spicy fish was very spicy just the way it should be served. I definitely recommend and will return again. read more

Chilispot - Spicy fish - Chinese Near Me - Orlando, Florida

I've been to Chilispot probably 4x by now since discovering them and they are AMAZING!!! They are super legit and authentic! Best value too! They are super welcoming and delicious!!! They always greet you, in Mandarin (?), and I would respond back with "Ni Hao" to be nice and they thought we were Chinese and kept speaking to us in Chinese. The server probably was disappointed that we don't speak Chinese lol! But my Husband and I aren't Chinese at all. It was cute and funny at the same time. Anyway, they give you BIG portions of food! So much that it can feed you again another meal or 2. Our favorite dishes so far have been the following: Potstickers with a sweetened chili sauce pairing Chongqing Spicy Popcorn Chicken Chongqing Lomein Szehuan Style Boiled Fish in Chili Oil All dishes were flavorful, bold and scrumptious. Beware of the spice levels because the Boiled Sliced fish really got me sweating and begging for water. But don't let it scare you, they have non-spicy options. The potstickers dipping sauce made it taste so much better. I always go back to places based on their in-house made sauces and this one takes it. Their Spicy Popcorn chicken is so hot and spicy but can be cooled down with cold water or a cold noodle dish. Oh and be prepared to bring food home or come with a bigger group of people so you can share the dishes! read more

Top notch Sichuan restaurant in Orlando! Came here on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised with the prompt service and stellar food. The fried fish with chilis and peppers was my favorite. I also enjoyed the boiling beef in chili oil. EHR flavors were authentic and definitely had the "ma la", which is the dull, numbing spice. The food isn't overly spicy but certainly does build up over time. Prices were very reasonable and food comes out very fast! Highly recommended. read more

This was a random spot we decided to go to because we were in the area. Never heard of the place but glad we stopped in! The food is VERY authentic. Very nice clean modern decor. If you like Szechuan flavor, there are plenty of dishes to try and the prices are fair. Everything we ordered did not go to waste read more

Decided to check out this fairly new place. The modernly decorated restaurant is filled on this Sunday night. Spacious dining room. We didn't have to wait a long time for the food. May be we only ordered a bunch of appetizers and a couple of their desserts. Most of them are cold dishes. The spicy Szechuan dishes were not as spicy as I expected. Overall presentation is nice but nothing really stands out， except the dessert, fried rice cake in brown sugar. The outside was crispy and inside is chewy and soft. I have to give that a thumbs up. Felt a little funny when we had to order dishes from the menu which has no price listed. The restroom was not kept tidy and clean ... not sure if it was because it was towards the end of the night ... but I will suggest periodic spot cleaning. There is a big selection of items on the menu and they look interesting; will probably go back to try others on the menu if in the area. read more

My wife, daughter and I visited on Saturday, this was only for lunch and since it was our first visit we ordered two standard Chinese dishes, we got the Kung Pao Chicken and fried rice. The Kung Pao Chucken literally was only chicken and peanuts, no vegetables, not even onions and bell peppers. Their Kung Pao sauce was IMHO not good, possibly an authentic schezwan dish, but nothing like I ever had before, loaded with schezwan pepper and chili oil, yet not particularly spicy. As a comparison Panda Express's Kung Pao Chicken is more spicy and not oily and has bell peppers and zucchini, and is just plain better in my novice opinion. Also their Kung Pao was loaded with peanuts, nearly 50/50 ratio of peanuts to chicken, this was strange and not good, to me, I enjoy a few peanuts, but it would seem more normal to have a lot more chicken than peanuts. The dish was literally chicken, peanuts, and a lot of schezwan pepper and chili oil. I mean just plain dripping in chili oil. The fried rice was better, a mix green onions, eggs, pork and shrimp. Good but dry, not enough sauce, and there were no condiments such as soy or hoisin on table, so we couldn't add our own. The resturant was packed, probably a dozen dishes on menu that could have been more to my liking. But I thought going with Kung Pao for first visit seemed like a smart choice, but I was wrong at this place. Honestly, if this authentic, I would be better off just going to Cantonese style places in the future, I just could not get past the level if schezwan pepper and chili oil. Service was fine, nice... read more

Great food! Loved every dish we ordered. Eggplant, fried rice, whole fish, shrimps. Everything was great. Small portion for reasonable price. So you can order many different dishes, which I loved! Service wasn't the best but decent. They were busy. Typical but nice Chinese response ambiance. I would love to come back here! read more

Last Black Friday my friend and I went to Chilispot after a one-day trip to Universal studio. The location and environment is great. However, the restaurant had many people in the waitlists at this moment. They didn't accept reservation in advance. We arrived there at 5:30pm and didn't get a table until 6:30pm, which wasted a lot of time. Regarding to the food, I would say it's a good option for spicy and heavily-flavored food. Actually a little bit too spicy for me. read more

The food is excellent!! Please note: Non-spicy food lovers this may not be the place for you. Don't say you weren't warned, it's literally in the name! As a semi-spicy food lover I couldn't resist the authentic flavors of this restaurant! The ambiance is great for a lunch or family meal, decor is nice and the restaurant is always super clean. The food timing is excellent. Even the music is in Chinese! This was my second time dining in. The first time I had the cumin lamb this time I got the sirloin soup! Both times amazing! Kinda painful spicy and I definitely sweat off my makeup both times but the flavors are so complex I can't resist. I'll probably get the pig feet cannellini bean soup or pork intestines on my next visit. But yes, there will be a 'next visit' read more

Delicious food and staff were very friendly. Would recommend the boiled fish if you like spicy. Definitely will come back!

Love the staff who has great sense of humor and provide excellent services. The food was great as wellz

The food is as authentic as it's going to get in Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere is always busy. This is a place that's going to serve food with heat. Hence, the name of the restaurant the chili spot. Be prepared to indulge in some spicy food. The service is good and thorough. Everything is made fresh to order. Prices are competitive with other restaurants of this caliber. read more

Chilispot - Business manager, such a nice person. Great background. - Chinese Near Me - Orlando, Florida

It's great to have an authentic Chinese style restaurant in this part of town. The menu selection is great and the food we ordered was delicious and tasted authentic. However, we took 1 star off because the cleanliness of plates and cups need work. One of our plates and both of our cups had dried stuck food. I'm sure they were washed, but were not scrubbed before going through the commercial dishwasher. Looking at the health department scores, there are a number of violations. Everything else was great, so I hope management will read this to put more effort into this area. Most restaurants are not perfect, but clean plates and cups should be a given every time. read more

The service was horrible. The waitress had a bad attitude as if we were annoying her by dining in. The tension was so bad we left.

It's new , it's different, it's delicious. Don't let the name or the bright lights scare you off. The bright lights add to the deliciousness. It presents a beautiful delight to see before you partake and savor the exceptionally well prepared and tastefully savoring array of texture, spice and fresh ingredients. This is restaurant 3 for them. For sure there will be more. It must be noted that most of the patrons were of Asian descent, if they are qualifiers to authenticity. Many of the dishes are spice, hence the name. But there are the standbys. We had the kung paw. Yes we continued to eat after we were full. It was tasty and not burning hot. Although there were a lot of red peppers. Separate them out as we did snd keep eating. The Pepper Beef is more to the restaurants specialty. Not spicy hot just spicy flavorful. Let the staff help you pick. We told the waiter what we liked and he dialed the menu in for us and our selections. Fantastic we have a great new restaurant. We will get back with friends.
