We arrived pretty late and ended up being the only customers in the restaurant. Food came out quickly, which was a plus. The ribs were tender and tasted like they'd been slow-cooked -- definitely the highlight. The other two dishes were just okay, and overall everything leaned a bit too salty. We found ourselves drinking a lot of water afterward. It's also a bit far from where most tourists stay (like Lake Buena Vista), so probably not worth a 30-minute drive unless you're already in the area.

For a bucket of raw oysters makes this place the most affordable place to get oysters. With your oysters. You get a bag of crackers and your own personal shucker. We've had the same server the last two times and I'm kicking myself for not knowing her name. But she is awesome. She does a great job of getting all of the oysters out of the shells and record time and she is always chatting with us. In addition to the bucket of oysters, we have also tried the fried oysters and the seafood boil. Fried oysters but the seafood boil was delicious. If you want they also have other menu options if you're not craving oysters. Our last visit I found a big Pearl and one of my oysters which is a rarity. So I felt very lucky. Lucky that I didn't chip my tooth from chomping on it. LOL They do have two types of hot sauces and can give you butter if you'd like some. They also give you horseradish to go with your oysters. Sadly, they did not have any soy sauce. Don't judge. If you're craving oysters at a reasonable price, head down to Lee and Rick's oyster bar. And get there before the rush from the tourists who go to the parks nearby.

When we arrived, the woman behind the bar didn't greet or even acknowledge us--she was too busy sweeping up. The bartender behind the bar also completely ignored us. We couldn't even get a menu or place an order for food and beer. We stood there waiting to be acknowledged and eventually gave up. Absolutely terrible customer service. If you're not a local, don't expect to feel welcome here. We certainly didn't.

It's also opened cracked and preseasoned for you so there's less work. The seasoning they use is wonderful and delicious and my son absolutely loves as well. We also really like that they have shrimp pasta and for only 8.99 that's a super deal. Their prices are good and very competitive. Not over priced at all. We usually get the largest combo which is corn potatoes shrimp snow crab blue crab and crawfish and that's around $54 dollars and it absolutely feeds more than 2 because me and my teenage son can't finish it all in one setting. I would definitely recommend and we will return.

The food did not taste like it was not fresh or anything. It was actually pretty good. The inside of the restaurant, however, is not a place you can sit and eat. It is just like a little place where you can wait for your food to be made but they don't have tables or anything. It's just some chairs to wait in. This is what I would call a hole in the wall for sure, but their food was pretty good. The only thing I did not like was the corn. It was so soaked up in the oil and seemed like it may have been at the bottom of the barrel because it was very hard and soaked with the oil so when I took a bite into the corn, not only could I barely bite into it but nothing but oil and like hard clumps came out of the corn. The corn had to be discarded. The potatoes were pretty good. They were nice and soft and only some of the crab legs were a little bit overcooked but we would probably come here again.

It was 30 minutes from our hotel, so I was hopeful that it wouldn't disappoint! We got there relatively early (20 minutes after they opened for the day), and nobody else was there, so that was kind of awkward, as was being told to order from a kiosk (or use the QR code at the table), rather than give my order to a human. But the kiosk allowed us to kind of 'shop' before making our decision, so that was good. Since we were the only customers, everything came out fast and fresh (in fact, his came out a few minutes before mine, so I had to steal his fries until mine came out, lol) Hubs got the Ultimate Smash Burger and Fries, which was delicious. Soft bun, big burger, delicious fries. I got the Chicken Dippers, and y'all - they were HUGE! And you got SIX of them! Well-seasoned and well-fried, with a flavor that I know I've had before (spice-wise), but I couldn't put my finger on. I ended up only eating two of the tenders, and brought the other 4 home for leftovers. The staff were all super-friendly and attentive. They gave me a box/bag for my leftovers, and bussed our trays when we were done. Seating is ALL tables, so if you're a "Booth Person" you might be bummed. But the seats were comfy, even on a bigger tushie like mine. Paper towels, salt & pepper, and ketchup were on the tables. The only 'con' for me was the hush puppies... it had pieces of corn in it. This is a personal preference, of course, but I like my HPs without pieces of corn or onions, so I didn't ding them for that! Great job to everyone here, everything was delicious. It's on my "Must Go Back" list for next time I'm in the area.

A Must-Try Seafood Spot - Crispy, Flavorful, and Worth the Trip!…read more If you're searching for fresh, perfectly fried seafood in the Orlando area, stop scrolling and head here -- this place is officially my new go-to spot. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and you can tell they care about quality from start to finish. Shrimp (must-try): Hands down the star of the menu -- plump, juicy, and seasoned to perfection with a light, crispy breading. These shrimp are worth the visit alone. Crispy Cod: Golden on the outside, tender and flaky inside. It's lightly breaded and not greasy at all -- exactly how fried fish should be. Wings: These wings were definitely winging it -- flavorful, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The garlic parmesan is a can't-miss choice. Sides Done Right: The seasoned fries and thin onion rings had real flavor -- no bland filler sides here. The coleslaw was crisp and refreshing, and the mac & cheese? Epic. It tasted like Sunday dinner or holiday mac -- if you know, you know. Cornbread Surprise: A sweet, unexpected highlight with a flavor that could stand on its own as a dessert. Service That Stands Out: Special shout-out to Lisa Marie for her welcoming personality and great recommendations. She was attentive, professional, and truly made the meal even more enjoyable. Final Thoughts: This spot hits every mark -- fresh seafood, delicious sides, and exceptional service. It's the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again. If you're craving crispy fried shrimp or a comfort-food-style meal done right, this is absolutely worth the trip.

I was really looking forward to that mac since this was a cheat meal so I definitely wanted more flavor there! I also ordered whiting but they were out. I was disappointed BUT they gave me extra shrimp instead, so I definitely can't complain! The staff was nice and the overall experience was good. I'll definitely be back to try the shrimp scampi, some of their other fish options and more sides. Stonington's, I'll see you again!

Feels somewhat like a small-town diner. The menu has awesome choices, but there's a ton of stuff that is $30+ (several $50+) and I really didn't want to spend that much on lunch. I picked a snapper sandwich with a side caesar & my friend got a shrimp quesadilla. They came out about 10-15 mins later. price seemed a bit high, but i know costs have skyrocketed lately, so them's the breaks. The fish on my sandwich was flavorful - but very dry. Would have been better cooked with some kind of fat. The bread was fluffy & nice, but fell apart right away. The veggies in the sandwich were fresh & bright. The caesar side was amazing. they gave me tartar & ketchup, so i asked for cocktail sauce because ketchup is weird for this. No problem. I didn't even finish half because it was so big! My friend's quesadilla was very tasty, but for some reason, it's an absolute oil slick. So the opposite end of the spectrum lol. She enjoyed it but couldn't finish because it was too greasy. There was a thick layer of oil on the plate and on the quesadilla. The ladies working there are really nice & helpful. They checked on us several times. I paid really fast & they got us out the door in less than 45 minutes! I would love to get some of the fancier stuff sometime, but would probably want to eat it elsewhere, because the diner feel doesn't match how fancy the food is. But overall, great experience with the asterisk being the cooking styles & plain appearance. I thought i got pics but can't find them now, but the presentation was great.

The fried rice and vegetable medley were also pretty amazing. The prices here are very good. The grouper plate was about twenty-two dollars and the calamari was about eighteen dollars. The quality of the food could definitely rival more expensive restaurants. I will definitely have to return here and I will give it five stars for an incredible meal.

Every visit here feels cozy, flavorful, and perfect for gathering with family and friends. Let's talk about the broth because that's the real star. My absolute go-to (and forever favorite) is the Tom Yum broth -- it's rich, aromatic, and packed with that perfect balance of sour, spicy, and savory. I love customizing it the way I grew up enjoying Thai hot pot by adding extra mushrooms, tomatoes, chili peppers, cilantro, green onions, garlic, and a squeeze of lime juice. The flavor becomes even brighter and so comforting -- seriously next level. The ingredient selection is another huge win. There's a great variety of seafood, different meats, and an abundance of fresh veggies, so you can really build your bowl exactly how you want it. Everything tastes fresh and the portions are generous, making it one of the best hot pot experiences in Orlando by far. Friendly staffs. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, which makes it perfect for both small dinners and bigger group hangouts. I love coming here with my family and friends -- it's the kind of place where you can slow down, cook together, and just enjoy the moment. Hot pot just hits differently during the cooler season, but honestly... in Florida weather, it's good any time of year. Juicy Pot is always a place I'll come back to whenever I get the chance. If you're looking for a flavorful, comforting, and consistently satisfying hot pot spot, this one is definitely worth checking out.

I waited almost 40 minutes for my food, and the place wasn't even busy. The food was overhyped in my opinion. The drinks were about $5 each, and my total came out to around $50, which was definitely not worth it. I left very unsatisfied and would not go back. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
