I also ordered the mushrooms and we ordered the Texas Cheese Fries appetizer. Everything was delicious. Our server was good. To begin with we were a little concerned because he seemed more interested in hanging out near the front door but then things kicked in for him and he did a good job. The bathrooms were probably some of the cleanest I've seen and I mentioned it to my friend and she said anytime she has been there the bathrooms have always been clean. This is the usual Chili's I go to, and the food is just fine, but it never fails to make me and my entire party sick! I don't know what it is but we all always leave feeling bad. The waitresses were kind and the host was very fun and brought a good energy to our table. We went around 6:30 and it was pretty full and VERY loud (pretty common for this location). First time coming in this location since we moved from California. I love the service. Our server was super attentive and very kind. I asked for a "mocktail" which they don't usually offer, but the server and the bartender saw to it that they fulfill my request. They surprised me with a yummy strawberry-pineapple mock margarita. It was so refreshing! Food and price- chili's standard, that should be expected anywhere. We ordered the ribeye - medium rare steak, cooked perfectly. Baby back ribs- a little dry but good nonetheless. Kids' meal which was regular chicken tenders and fries. Overall, we will be adding Chili's to our family night out. read more

I had a great experience ordering a to-go lunch for a local doctor's office. I arrived at 11:00 am when they opened and was warmly greeted by the bartender, Joanna. She graciously took my order and ensured everything was available by checking with the kitchen crew. She assisted with the packaging and labeling of items ensuring nothing was missed. We have eaten at several Chili's but this was by far our best experience! We walked in and they greeted us with a smile and spoke and talked, and then we had an outstanding waiter, Travis, and the food was delicious. The pace of the meal was perfect! We interacted before different employees and they were all great and friendly as they could be! "Nothing special," as the waitress described their Bloody Marys. Which I ordered anyway, and it was as promised, nothing special. I didn't realize when you sit at a table at the bar and order drinks from a waitress, that you have to retrieve your drinks from the bar, like you work there. My waitressing days are behind me and I do hope Wilson gets a few more restaurant/bar choices where two old friends and stop in and chat over a drink, which is somewhere above mediocre. While this location isn't as big as some, it does have more seating than some locations that I have gone to. This location isn't far from interstate 95 and near downtown Wilson. Chili's of Wilson is back! Their sanitation grade the other day was a 96%!!! It's been a long time coming, and a long time since it's been that good. Welcome back! We stopped by for lunch Thursday. Everything we ordered was spot on, and a good deal to boot. Not gonna lie - our local Chili's has struggled the past few years, and I've reviewed them in the past, questioning management and ownership for their lack of oversight. I'm here to tell you - - they're now on it! And we will go back. Our server did a good job, Ronnie the host on duty was welcoming as always, food was timely, and the double burger lunch special with side Caesar salad was excellent! Others at my table were equally impressed with their meals and the staff. I've been a long-time Chili's fan, and I'm glad to put our Wilson Chili's back on our restaurant rotation!! Please don't come here. This has been a nice Chili's in the past but my family and I had such a bad experience here. They were out of many, many food items we asked for including iced tea (???). Our food was pretty slow coming out and when it did come out some was cold and some was way over cooked. Such a strange experience. Onion blossoms were cold. Sent back. Got them back in about 20 minutes. Asked for manager. He came and gave me bunch of excuses. My response: Not my problem. Hmmm, you should keep driving. My chicken tenders had more salt than the Dead Sea. My French fries were soft and mushy. Yum! (That was a sarcastic yum). I ordered the Mac n cheese and I guess they spiced them up with jalapeños. I couldn't eat more than two bites of it. It was over cooked, so on top of tasting pretty bad, it was mushy. My gf ordered the sirloin because they were out of ribeyes. She ordered medium rare and it was well done. Yuck! It's like eating leather at this point. She also ordered rice and it was standard.
