Came to Chili's with some friends and we ordered a little bit of everything. I started with the loaded baked potato soup. It was rich, cheesy, and the bacon on top gave it the perfect salty crunch. For my main, I went with the chicken ranch quesadilla. The tortilla was crispy, the filling was plenty, and the sour cream and pico made it even better. I tried the Mango Margarita, the margarita of the month, and it was sweet, tropical, and very easy to drink. Both of my friends split the Big Smasher burger with fries and judging by how quickly it disappeared, it was a winner. We all shared the molten chocolate lava cake for dessert. Warm cake, cold ice cream, caramel, and chocolate all coming together. It is listed as shareable but honestly you will not want to share. We have had the pleasure of visiting this chilis a few times since moving to Vero. We loved that we always get seated immediately and that our server always checks in on us regularly. The food her is delicious and there have only been a few times that we have been disappointed by some of the things we've been served. In 1967, Larry Lavine attended the first Terlingua Chili Cook-off hosted by his father-in-law. He fell in love with the concept and decided to open a restaurant that he hoped would capture the same experience. The first Chili's opened in Dallas in 1975 in a converted postal station. The menu included burgers, tacos, fries and chili along with Schlitz beer because they were the only brewery who would supply on credit while the restaurant was growing. The second Chili's opened in a remodeled flower shop in Houston in 1976. Today there are over 1,200 Chili restaurants through the country. The majority are in Texas with Florida in second place with 138 restaurants. Our family ended up at this Chili's on Mother's Day in Vero Beach because it is halfway between where we live and Orlando where my daughter lives. We ended up having to go to several auto parts store to do minor repairs on my daughter's car so we scrapped our original plan and looked for somewhere we could eat quickly. Chili's to the rescue. This Chili's looks exactly like every other Chili's I have ever been to. The restaurant is in a U shaped configuration with wood tables and booths and Southwestern decor. We decided to start with a round of their $6 margarita of the month, Tito's Watermelon Spritz. They were very refreshing and the perfect Mother's Day cocktail. Meals ordered included the brisket burger, a crispy chicken salad, and my daughter and I had the ribs with chicken crispers, Mexican street corn, and seasoned fries. Chili's always does a great job on ribs. It was a lot of food for the money and we had leftovers to take home. Service was prompt and attentive bringing the food and drinks quickly. It wasn't the water view I originally planned on but the food was enjoyed by all and everyone left satisfied and happy. read more

I want good food and great service when I go to a chain like this, and I am not disappointed. The prices are fair, the server Joe should be working a place with better food and tips. He is in the process of grooming himself into a fine dining server, ( may not know it.) He made sure our food was prepared the way we wanted it, he was attentive and had personality plus. Food was amazing, we ordered online via the app, which i recommend to anyone it's so easy and convenient when you're not in a mood for dining in, it was ready ahead of time so when we got there it was a quick pick up and the food was still hot and fresh once we were able to sit down and eat. The only downside would be that i wish there was a way to add notes on the app because it was my first time trying the bone in wings and I personally prefer for them to be cooked more well done, other than that everything was perfect!! read more

Started dining at Chili's after a decade long hiatus and have been pretty impressed. The burgers are absolutely delicious and we find ourselves craving them now. So many other good things on the menu: fajitas, giant mozzarella sticks, chicken crispers, fresh warm chips with salsa, the molten cake & the Reeses pie. The prices are reasonable for what's out there today but the best deal by far the 3 for Me $10.99 burger deal. Two of us usually split the 3 for Me $16.99 double burger deal with a side & the bottomless chips and salsa. Comes with a re-fillable drink and is plenty of food for us. The service is always good & usually excellent. There's a survey you can fill out on the Ziosk right on the table when you're finished about your experience & server. Chili's really seems to be getting right these days, & has earned back our patronage. Check them out if you haven't been in a while. read more

Five stars on a Chili's is pretty gracious coming from a review snob on Yelp. Chili's is known for overpriced mediocre food. I've been frequent in this location for lunch. For mediocre food on lunch the price is really on point. Not only is the lunch special a really great deal and you should stop in I pick up a little bit better lunch than gas station food for about the same money. The service that this location has been nothing but great. I'm usually seated very quickly I think the wait staff is it where that a lot of people are here on their lunch break. They make sure to get your food out quickly and to get your food order in quickly. The wait staff is always very nice and make sure your glass stays full. The bottom line is, I never gave up on Chili's and they really came through on the new lunch special menus. read more

Only thing great about this place is the handful of waiters that still care & the food. This location is progressively getting worse over time. I guarantee a cardboard cut-out that reads "seat yourself" probably has more character than the speechless hostess that can't even bother to say hello or greet strangers on a quiet Friday night. The guy who I assume is the manager, suffers from the same lack of words and charisma when he seats people. Would've had better experience if I grabbed my own menu and picked my own spot. The server Jenn did a phenomenal job though by being attentive and having an awesome attitude the entire time. You need more staff like her. read more

We use to go to this Chili's a lot, but the last few times we went it is so cold we can't stand it. We went there Saturday night at 6:00 pm and it was so cold we could even sit down. We told them it was so cold and all they did was say sorry so we left. Only half the restaurant was open because no one was there. I can't believe the management doesn't care. read more

Every time we've been in they haven't had a single deal to offer us. I remember chili's offering at least one deal throughout a month. Our wait staff has been "okay", they're not going to up sale or doing anything other than ask your drink order & what to eat. Usually they keep your drink full, but doubtful at times even when they're not busy. The hostess are clueless on any generic question you ask, sad they're hiring kids and not training them. There on a Friday night 6:30pm. Not busy. Worst service I've had anywhere. Sat in the bar area, waiter checked on us once even though I had only eaten a small part of my 18.00 fajitas. Never checked to see if they were ok or if I needed water, napkins or even a to go box. The staff including chef were more concerned with a table of ladies behind us who were treated like gold, our waiter didn't ever look our way when caring for them. I think you should call it, "It's Just the BEST Wings in Indian River County!" I've been living here in Vero and Sebastian for going on 3 years now and I have searched high and low for a good wing spot. And I FINALLY HAVE! Not only were the wings and sauces I tried absolutely delicious (Apple BBQ for a milder sweet and savory flavor, and good Ole Buffalo for some kick!) but the prices were MORE than reasonable. Curly fries were cooked to perfection and the portions were perfect. I give you guys 10/10 and know that you just earned the loyalty of a Southern Man that was born and raised on pork BBQ in North Carolina, lived in Texas for 7 years and learned what real beef BBQ is all about. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I personally work in the restaurant industry and the whole experience was not remotely ok. We asked our server many times that we needed napkins and other items and it took 10+ min to even get napkins. We waited an hour for our food to arrive after waiting 20+min for our appetizers. The food was also not great. At the end while we wer talking with our party a customer approached us and asked us of we could leave because the host wouldn't sit them until my party left. They had already been waiting an hour to be seated when there were other tables ready. We felt bad so we left. But we were furious because they had to wait for us to leave when the host should've of sat the party at another table instead of make them wait for a whole hour. This happened at 9:30 pm when the restaurant wasn't very busy. (We had already been there 2 hrs because of waiting for our food and such.) When we spoke yo management he didn't want to listen and didn't even offer to make anything right. He didn't say he was sorry or anything. He just said " ok ". But the worst part was the kitchen. Service : Dude was on point with greeting and taking care of us . The food came out fast ( I would say within 10 minutes) - we had the chicken fajitas . He lost "good service points," once I payed at the kiosk on the table. He never came back . This is a Chilli's This is a Chilli's in Vero Beach The fact the server was functional and very attractive already impressed me. So my expectation of food quality was low. The entree did not get me sick so I was thrilled. I'd give them 5 stars just of that but then common sense comes into play. The blackberry margarita was yummy (weak but yummy). I like how you can check into the dumpster on facebook and pay using the automated machine on the table. I recommend calling your parents right now and request they change their free gift cards from Chili's to Carrabas so you can avoid this wasteland forever.
