Good local chili's I haven't been to many but this one was a good one definitely will be coming back

Well, let me start by saying I love chili's--the food and the atmosphere I called ahead four days before Mother's Day just to give heads there was gonna be 11 people coming in. It wasn't a reservation. It was just a call ahead so they would know when I got there with my children and grandchildren some that drove an hour I was yelled at by the hostess that they didn't take reservations. I never said I had a reservation. All I said was I called ahead for 11 people but she kept yelling in front of everybody that they don't take reservations and there was a 10 top ahead of us which would've been fine if she didn't keep arguing with me I had just come off a 1030 to 4 shift at a restaurant myself so I know how busy Mother's Day could be. I just didn't appreciate her yelling at me about they didn't take reservations when I never used the word reservation at her with that being said the server was wonderful once we sat down we had a great meal, but I think the hostess needs a little more learning on customer service how to treat customers you shouldn't be yelling at a customer about reservations that she never that I never said read more

simon was AMAZING!!!!! we were a party of 8, which i'm sure was difficult to deal with, but simon handled it like a champ. while we were ordering some to-go boxes, someone at our table said the term 67 and simon was so crazy that he ran around the entire outside perimeter of the restaurant and appeared with all of our boxes. truly a wonderful experience! we even got a cute selfie with him read more

I have been here a dozen times over the past 3 years & every.single.time, I have a great experience. The wait staff here are really nice, friendly, helpful, & efficient. The kitchen puts out solidly good food in fast! The music, atmosphere & overall vibe is awesome. The place has a great layout & flow. And it's always clean & organized well. The music is reliably good too. It's PHENOMENAL when you find a place that provides consistently great food, service & ambiance (especially during the pandemic). This past few years have been so hectic for me. I will start frequenting this place more bc it's so easy to just stop in & have a yummy food in a nice, enjoyable, easy going, relaxing atmosphere! Food was delicious!!! Buffalo wings full of Flavor, cooked perfectly. Tropical sunrise cocktail was delicious, I wish I could keep drinking. The pasta was very good, chicken was nice and tender. The fajita trio was mesmerizing. I just had to write this review Last night my husband and I met friends for drinks and apps. Our server was Brett Our friends gave use a sealed envelope to deliver to our son. We didn't know what was in the envelope but we knew it had a money value in it. Our sons son (our grandson) was diagnosed w leukemia at 18 months and they have been driving back and forth to Yale 2x a week Needless to say, we left the restaurant without the envelope I didn't realize it until the next morning. I frantically called the store and Tom, the shift manager checked the safe and found nothing. I explained the situation. This very kind man, assured me that he would reach further and contact me . That he did He called me and said he found the envelope and that Brett had set it aside. We were seated, no one ever came to our table. Waited twenty minutes. Watched server after server walk by us. Tables that came in after us had orders taken, drinks, etc. We left. Chili's bartenders do not need to use iPad tablets to take an order when the normal register is mere feet from them... also they do not need to use a presto machine to complete the transactions. First they have to assign a presto machine to allow customers to ring out in the same amount of time that they could just as easily ring them out. Why make things more difficult for your employees? Trying to justify the copious spending of money that corporate used.... not justified... Maybe you should step out from your high tower and get feedback from your employees . My family & I had lunch here. The burgers my family ordered were great & they enjoyed them! I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Mex Bowl. It tasted great, however the avocado it was topped with was very overripe and stringy. I requested fresher avocado slices, and had to refuse the slices the server brought me because they were nearly black! Our waitress finally brought me some that were only slightly fresher. I was disappointed that such an obvious mistake was acceptable in the kitchen. read more

I am a die-hard seafood person, but whenever I'm in the mood for a good rib-eye, I go to Chili's - what? Yes! Yesterday, my husband and I partook in lunch at the Chili's in Montville near the Home Depot. Our waitress, Debbie, was amazingly pleasant and attentive. For the appetizer we got the loaded, boneless chicken wings which were so delicious and cheesy! I, of course, had the rib-eye with broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked perfectly and was melt-in-your-mouth. My husband had the full order of baby-back ribs, half dry-rubbed and half with honey-chipotle which were delicious. I have been staying at the hotels near this chili's. I love the food and the service usually when I'm in New York. However I received the worst service from the chili's here in ct.in New York we use the popular apps like door dash and grub hub and Uber eats and it's delivered right to your door with no problems . Here and ct I have nothing but problems with this particular chili's. I order two times from this chili's off DoorDash and the door dash delivery never delivers to my door at the Mohegan sun or Foxwoods they make me look for them in the parking lot. Why offer this service if it's not delivered to my door?! I gave a third chance and I placed a pickup and drove to this chili's and I received the wrong pickup order?! I don't in know if it's the management here or it's people who work for you that just don't care. In New York service is always great. read more

I came to chili's and Nicole provided excellent service. I really enjoy margaritas and the one she made had an extra flare not too strong and not too sweet just perfect. I went in for take out and ordered there the wait time wasn't an issue it was fairly quick I got my order and left and I should have opened it up while still there but the produce on my burger was disgusting like I work in a restaurant at the casino and we sort our tomatoes and lettuce before we deliver it to a guest this chili's gave me a nasty end of a tomato and the pieces of lettuce that didn't looked washed and the piece you rip off at the top. If I knew this is how my burger toppings would have turned out I would have went somewhere else like Aroogas. This was a waste of my money read more

Wanted a quick lunch with my little lady and was able to do just that! The service was quick and the manager and server were attentive. I was able to feed my toddler and get a salad to go very quickly. I love the kiosk at the table where you can pay. Convenience is super important when traveling with little ones! My only recommendation would be to check the booster and high chairs for cleanliness often. Little ones like to leave sticky messes everywhere! I opted to not use the booster seat given to me because it needed a little TLC. Otherwise, I was pleased. read more

Just went back after several years of this review. Decided to give them an extra star because this time the rice was cooked properly.

I went to chili's last night and got the cheese bites, grilled cheese, and french fries. It was very good. My only complaint is that there should be more cheese bites per order. The grilled cheese was also not melted enough. Other than that it was very nice. Our server was very friendly and service was good. Slightly busty. Very accessible. Would recommend. read more

Chili's remains one of the better food chains around. They have the 4 G's (Good food, Good Drinks, Good atmosphere and Good service). The only concern that prevented this from being a five star review was that the restaurant is always either too warm or too cold. They are yet to find that "Happy medium". Otherwise, the prices are more than reasonable, with some great meal deals to be had. Drinks are also priced fairly. If you are looking for an inexpensive night out ($ 25-30 for two), you can easily have dinner here for that price with the 3 items for $ 10 per person (Drink, App and Dinner). Hopefully, they keep this deal going as it's clearly the biggest bargain they have going. read more

Went to dinner last night and the food was okay. I'm 100% sure I lost my driver's licence while I was there, so I called this morning to ask about it. Waited on hold for a few minutes and was told they don't have it. My fiance called a little later since I was about to go to AAA to get a new one. Assuming he talked to the same woman I did when I called since her response was "yeah, she called earlier and we don't have it." He wanted to let them know what booth we were in so maybe they could double check. Without a word she put him on hold and turned him over to the manager who acted like I hadn't just called and said that they don't have anything. Felt like it was rude. While it's not their problem that I dropped my ID, it would have been nice for them to actually check. Or at the very least be slightly kinder since that's what good customer service is. I was going to go back and check for myself, but after that interaction....forget it. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE ... ordered a chicken bacon club ,came to me completely raw. Not just undercooked but FLESHY RAW. CHEF AND MANAGER DIDNT EVEN COMP A DRINK ON HOUSE ....he came out to give me an apology, really!!?? And ? How on earth can he even say that it was a mistake. Typical Chili's. I've spent many of nights here a few years ago when I was staying at a near by hotel. I then came here when I worked in the area. Returned the other day when I was in the area. Great lunch service at a great price. We frequent usually once a week and the service is usually really good. Nate the Manager comes and greets you and chats a bit which is a nice touch. We have expressed to him about changing the lunch menu up a bit and he has agreed however it is a Franchise so they have rules to follow. We are in and served and done with 40 minutes. Went here last night at about 7:30. Hostess with attitude asked for name and number. Looked around and saw "not too busy" with a lot of vacant tables. Believing we were going to seated quickly, we were curtly told wait time will be about 15 mins and text would be sent to phone. Being our first time here we waited inside and were promptly told by hostess with attitude that company policy is to wait in your car until text message. Saw at least two other parties enter and be seated promptly while we waited. Kind of weird. Just barely under 15 mins text came - table ready. HWA (Hostess With Attitude) seats us then goes back to her station to apparently be bothered by other guests. We were seated right behind the check in stand and witnessed her act throughout. No one party of guests were asked to go sit in the car after us because of wait time. Multiple parties came in. Look if you're having a bad night I get it. If you don't enjoy customer facing employment get another job and preferably work where you don't have to deal with other human beings. Just saying Other than that meal was OK with the exception of hamburger which was ordered well done coming our medium to medium rare and having to ask for more water. Their new e-kiosk thingy is pretty cool, allowing you to pay your bill immediately at the table and leave feedback. You can also use it to order bar drinks. Came in from out to town to watch a football game with my wife at the bar 10/13/17. We each had three drinks in a 90 minute time period. We were not loud or obnoxious as we are in the over 50 crowd. I drank two 6oz glasses of wine and a Ice tea. My wife had three Margaritas. We took an Uber being responsible. We were informed when trying to order a 4th drink that there was a three drink limit.
