Went to have something simple on a Friday Night and the South Stuart Duffy's;s was near empty. Uh-oh. Looked at the new menus and they looked newly redesigned. My wife opted for the Shrimp Tacos and there followed some detailed guidance from our waiter Daniel M. explaining the specifics of the different available sauces ( my spouse is very careful re this subject ) , and when the tacos were served, his advice turned out to be spot on. Home run for that dinner. I had ordered the Grilled Chicken sandwich which was absolutely full of a thick hunk of chicken breast, bacon, tomato, lettuce, cheese and had a separate serving of additional sauce from the one already in the sandwich. Forgot to mention the Broccoli/cheddar soup to start, which was just really well balanced and delicioso. It appears that Duffy's had done some very effective work in addressing previous shortcomings, because this visit will have us returning as regulars.

My experience at the Stuart South Duffy's has always been wonderful. I'm writing to express my…read moredisappointment with Duffy's new corporate management and the elimination of 2 for 1 drink prices. The corporate email included the pitch " We've been listening closely to what our MVPs have been telling us, and one thing we heard loud and clear was that you want great drinks at great prices - without having to buy two to enjoy one." Clever marketing but what a bunch of horse-sh#t!! You could always buy just one drink at Duffy's and it costs less than the two drink special. Honestly - with so many good restaurants in the area - the ONLY distinguishing special that drew us to Duffy's was the 2 for 1 special. I'm going to use the remainder of my points and then I'm done with Duffy's. What silly new management to think that people are so stupid to fall for your marketing pitchReview from October 4 2026: My husband and I have been Duffy's customers for more than 15 years. I update this review from time to time to give management feedback, and inform potential customers looking for a restaurant that will provide a good meal, good value, and good service. In Sept 2026 I learned that Duffy's new management changed their 2 for 1 price structure for beverages. See September 2026 review below. What we have since learned is that, in addition to fleecing Duffy's customers with their marketing pitch that eliminated the traditional 2 for 1 Duffy's drinks - NOW THE CUSTOMER IS CHARGED A 3% "OPERATING FEE". This is outrageous! Customers are choosing to dine at Duffy's and THAT business is what keeps you - Duffy's - "operativing". How obnoxious to sneak in a 3% "Operating Fee". Y'all better change your business model and fast - before you completely lose long time customers like myself. Eliminate the "operating fee" and bring back 2 for 1 drinks. If you need to generate more revenue - then be up front about it and increase your menu prices by 3% or whatever you need to increase to stay in business. But these underhanded charges and marketing pitches that presume the customer is just plain stupid - is no way to endear current or future clients. We tried the pollo al gusto with Chipotle sauce (highly recommend, such a flavorful sauce) and shrimp fajitas (perfectly seasoned with a nice char). For quite some time now, we've been coming here almost every Friday, and sometimes even during the week. The service, food, and atmosphere have been consistently great, but what truly makes our Friday nights special is Amanda. Amanda is an amazing bartender who makes the best margaritas I've had in the area, but beyond that, she has such a fun and welcoming personality that keeps us coming back. Over time, we've even met other regulars on Friday nights who feel the exact same way. At this point, we don't just come for the good food and drinks -- we come because Amanda makes every visit such a great experience. And to be more clear, my first visit where we had the bad experience was with a totally different person who was working in the bar area at that time.
