Cooks take no pride in their food. Could have got a better meal across the road at McDonald's. Probably at half the price also. Would not recommend anyone to waste their money on this place. Waited over an hour for food with only a couple of tables in the whole restaurant now I see why. Waitress really didn't care if she was there or not from the way she was acting. Will not go back ever again.

I traveled to Saginaw to have lunch with a friend. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation…read more But the food was underwhelming. My friend liked his burger, and he said it was cooked to his liking. As it was very hot on the date of my visit, I felt like a cold sandwich. The choices were minimal. And the "Club Wrap" that I chose was indeed cold as desired; however, the taste was non-existent. The cold cuts were limp and probably of the cheapest quality available. The wrap was just a typical flour tortilla. I added a "premium side" of the street corn. Having a great deal of experience with this dish, I found it surprisingly good. I could easily see myself ordering this again. The server was quite attentive, but the restaurant was not particularly busy, given that it was around 1 pm when we arrived. Lastly, with a multitude of TVs (a sports bar, after all), one or two TVs could be chosen, along with the available sound. The cacophony of multiple broadcasts did detract. If there had been more people in the bar, the sound would have been somewhat muffled. I doubt that I will make a second visit.

My sister found Tony's, I remembered passing it, so we decided to go. They do quite the business. LOTS of carryout orders -- perhaps more than dine in. But, the problem with this is that they seemed to prioritize the orders being picked up. We must have waited a half hour for our meals. But...the servers were friendly, and one would occasionally burst into whatever song was playing on the radio. I ordered the eggs and sausage biscuit with gravy. It was pretty good and very reasonably priced. The iced tea did not taste freshly made, though; I'm guessing it was probably a mix. Still, this is a great little neighborhood diner and I'm sure that, if I lived near here, I'd be back.

I was Friday and it's obviously and hot local joint. Not a lot of great flavor either. Got an order of the wings and they were way overcooked with absolutely no seasoning. So they were very disappointing too. What saved the day was the walleye and fries. The fries were excellent, and the walleye was good. It wasn't seasoned at all, but tasted a lot better once I put some salt and pepper on it. Had a nice light breading on it but again, no seasoning, so it really required some pretty heavy salt and pepper. So I'm just kind of disappointed that the star of the show was the french fries Service was very friendly and prompt. The place looks a little rundown and doesn't really have much of an atmosphere. Linwood is supposed to be well known for walleye fishing, so they could've decorated the place along those lines and had a theme. Look like they had a decent selection of good quality liquor. Decent name brands. I'm gonna give it a three star, but part of me feels like that's a little bit of a stretch
