I ended up going to Hooters on Cinco de Mayo while traveling for work. Originally, I wanted to find a Spanish restaurant, but it didn't work out, so I ended up here instead. The NBA playoff games were on that night too, and unfortunately they didn't have access to the specific game I wanted to watch because it was on a different streaming package. As a sports fan, I'm not going to lie -- that hurt a little bit . For a sports-style restaurant, you always hope they've got every game available. But at the same time, I understand all those subscriptions add up. Even with that, I stayed and ordered the 10-piece garlic Parmesan wings along with a chicken quesadilla. The ranch was actually really good -- good enough that I ordered three extra ranch cups to take home with me. I didn't finish all my food there, but I stayed for the atmosphere and overall vibe before heading back out. The customer service was good, the restaurant wasn't overly packed, and overall I really don't have anything negative to say about the experience. I don't know how often I'd necessarily go out of my way to visit a Hooters these days, but for this visit, it was still a solid stop. read more

I'd like to say a few things about the Hooters in Saginaw. First, service was a little slow, took 19 minutes to get our food, it could be worse Second, there is an over amount of TVs. Golf, WWE, football, basketball. I'll just say it plainly: too many TVs. Third, I got the wings with hot sause, and the hot sause is okay in my opinion. Fourth, the women. Honestly not sure why it's not more popular from strictly a food perspective. The food is so much more fresh than any other similar chain. The chicken is always fresh and cooked perfectly the curly fries are great. I drive out of my way to come here. Service was good too! read more

Weekday afternoon grabbed a drink after shopping at the Fashion square mall. Ketel one Peach tea, the booze was heavily poured and hit all the right spots. My waitress Julie was a doll, pretty, talkative and welcoming. Looking around I was surrounded with the dressier of weekday warriors, guys in suits who thought they were suave with talking to the ladies. All they did more of; was worry the pretty waitresses. But I guess, to work at Hooters one has to realize the types of guys that might approach. Yes? There is plenty of eye candy and a nice selection of flavors (something Saginaw is not low on is hot women), one of the more fun Hooters' environments. I'm not used to the Hooters experience since I don't go to them often, I was surprised to see families and ladies within the mass of gentle-dudes. So I really had a craving for some Hooter wings today. Unfortunately, the location in Bay City closed down. So off to Bay Road I went because Hooters has the best wings right? Wrong. I drove 20mi round trip for basic wings I could have got at 12 different dive bars that were much closer and probably would have paid $8 instead of $18. There was virtually no sauce on them. All I could taste was the bleu cheese. When the girl behind the counter picked up my box and put it in the bag, I was struck by the fact that it wasn't the large Hooters Box I was used to. It was just a regular sized Styrofoam box. Not that I was there for the packaging but it seemed to me to be a pretty small box for 10 big plump wings that you normally get. Came in just after 7, was told 30 minute wait. At 8 went inside and was told they had crossed everyone off because they don't have enough time or room. This is ridiculous. The bartender at the bar was lacking in customer service and was very rude. I would not recommend this Hooters at all. I've had Great service at other Hooters and this was definitely not up to par. She was more concerned with a guy at a table she kept sitting down to talk to, instead of serving her tables on top of making many mistakes. The manager witnessed this, yet nothing changed.
